  1. Hammerlord's Succubi series
  2.
  3. Right away I appreciate the two main gimmicks that all the teams boast, quicker actives despite blowing through enemies, and additional effects vs enemies you can't blow through. Its a nice balance and gives it options which I like. That said I think its a tad strong? CD reduction is incredibly difficult to balance. And you've got some chonky actives in this series. Because its for every _enemy_ defeated it could abuse a stage with reswpawning enemies or multiple enemies, as there sometimes are for the "free stall" wave on some SMs. Its a small note but it just always is in the back of my mind when I'm reading these actives. I can't imagine you'd want to change it that much, this entire seal is about control, killing and dying so it feels like its fine. The Succubi marks themselves have problems and we'll get into them on a case by case but for now I like that it has overarching mechanics that feel at home to demons and to a lesser extent, machinas as well. One note though: How do Seduction marks interact with uncontrollable enemies? I feel like they shouldn't be able to be applied, but the strength of some of these teams hinges on being able to use marks.
  4.
  5. Slain - Straight out of the gate, its got stats jank. Did you run the numbers on this? It feels as though it could have some abuse cases but none really pop into mind, and this team has a horrendously low attack multiplier. x25 with 10% runeshare is worse than Lionel-Khaos! Probably a x3 or x2.5 from the stat jank, but even then it would come out to x60~ or x75 But the actives totally make up for it. Phurba Blade is an odd active. Usually when you need snipes, you need them for the reason that they are a snipe. Not usually for the damage itself, unless we're Egyptians or Megumin. This one does % HP of the enemies though.... which is fucking nuts. And coupling it with the "nen" skill, you try to exist for as long as possible and wail on the enemy, heal up and slice off chunks of their HP occasionally. The lower multiplier is just to say that this is a grind team. Which..... I really don't know how to feel about it. You're looking at spending a lot of empty turns applying succubi marks, just to do a tiny fraction of their HP occasionally. And it feels like the team wants to be full machinas, so their fuel extra attacks speed up this process. But then you will run into having poor Recovery, and potentially be unable to get started because no fuel generation and low passive damage. You could straight up die to the stalling wave with this team.
  6.
  7. Word of Dictator though is FUCKING amazing. I love this active. Its really strong but this team doesn't have a whole lot going for it so its okish. It creates an overabundance of race runes over 2 turns and is a powerful utility option. This Jackpot is just gonna be used in other Succubi teams for this active alone, rather than used as a leader IMO. The gimmick for a reduced CD is also excellent. And since its CD won't be lowered from defeating enemies as a member its totally fine. When used as the leader it is very clearly too strong though. I don't know how to suggest you balance this, but it may be to just tone down the amount of race runes this active makes? Or up the CD. CD 10 for all this would be totally reasonable IMO.
  8.
  9. La Croix - The problem child. I had to stop when first reading through this to scan the rest of the series to find the "HP to 1" member, and its Chrome I'm assuming. Without Chrome the team is weird, but with it, it makes a lot more sense. Unfortunately Chrome is SO good you will want to bring 2 in most teams just because ignoring all those shields is amazing? I'll get into it more later when I'm on Chrome. However its pretty pivotal in La Croix. You desperately need that "at 1 HP" x2.5 damage because otherwise it feels really lackluster. The active skill and unswitched form's tie in with hearts and ex combos are really cool.
  10.
  11. When you have both the switch and unswitched as your leader/ally the team really shines. It has a massive source of consistent healing, it has a huge runeshare effect, and the bonus to EX combos from essentially trying to dissolve one large clump of heart runes is incredibly strong. Coupled with triggering the x2.5 with Chrome and being able to essentially always keep it active by _always_ having healing runes exist on the board in some fashion, AND giving the team a bonus to HP when you already have loads of high HP machina members makes this a beastly team. I like it except for the requirement to die to trigger the switch.
  12.
  13. My suggestion to fix that is to remove the chrome synergy entirely and have the team permanently be at 1 HP, and tie in the x2.5 baseline. Then it becomes an all or nothing kinda team, and it makes more sense for it to revive considering you can't take ANY hits. Its a suggestion, you may do with it as you wish. I may have pre judged it before having read it all the way, and I quite like it as it is. Just that sticking point gets me.
  14.
  15. Sara - Cool, really cool in fact. But doesn't really feel like it belongs here? That's how I felt reading through it at first at least. It has no synergy with other succubi, and it seems absolutely removed from the rest of the series. It also doesn't interact with seduction marks in its own team, except through being able to bring succubi members who can. Of which you'd only want to bring 2 because you're going to want the drones I presume. :l
  16.
  17. Cybernation is also a new keyword used exclusively by Sara, and has its own bag of problems. For one, I don't know if you intend this, but it appears like it gains 1 Cybernation point per _turn_ IF you dissolve hearts in that column. I imagine you meant a "per rune dissolve" clause in there, because having to wait 20 turns seems like a real win more strat. Also Cybernation is busted. You have to build up to it over 20 turns but eventually you'll have a x2 team recovery and HP effect on the whole team :l And with the bonus Ex combos from overhealing.... given from both the leader and ally Sara..... You're lookin at Vocaloid Cools levels of Ex combos. Its kinda gross. Moving on to actives, Phurba bullets is kinda weird. Its.... OK. Without heart conversion, this is kinda like shooting yourself in the foot I feel. However... Combining it with waves of pleasure gives you waaaaaay too many heart runes at once. So I get that's the combo, but it might not work the way you think.
  18.
  19. And the Drones. The drones are way strong. They're so strong passively you never wouldn't want to get them. They're Cybernated, they buff the OTHER drone or at least whatever is in that column. Their active skills are REALLY good and can be used together, and when you do it reduces the other's CD. If you use them every turn they're up it gets lowered to a CD 6 for the second activations onwards. And the utility to lower ANY machina or Demon's CD is pretty nuts. Its a crazy tuning tightrope you're walking here and I think you're moments from plunging.
  20.
  21. Basically I love Sara but its too strong. Also totally removed from the Succubi series.
  22.
  23. Lily - Way too low a CD. This is a solid 10 to me, with the reduction from being in a succubi series fine after that.
  24.
  25. Cortana - Pretty amazing, considering its not restricted to the first batch. Ghroth power creeped. Basically an unacceptably strong member. CD 6, and CD 5 in a succubi team is... phew wowie. This is another 10 to me.
  26.
  27. Chrome - Pretty centralizing member. Necessary in La Croix, and then wanted as a dupe for its original active imo. Having its damage ignore all shields, and stacking higher and higher as your team pitifully does 1 damage for not completing the shield condition is really not healthy gameplay. Its your win condition member. Just survive and eventually Chrome will kill things. Furthermore, the changed version for La Croix is gross. These teams are going to have around 25k+ HP, and at 30k HP you get 20 runes turned every turn as long as its still in play. With how powerful race runes are, this card really just does too much.
  28.
  29. Verdun - Rip Septem. This effect can be chained and reapplied when bursting to be your omega burst card. Stall to get 30 marks on the stalling enemy in the SM, use Verdun and overkill burst the enemy and Verdun will carry you through the remaining stages until you get to get to burst again in 6 turns. Of which most actives come back up since they're so fucking short in this series, on top of the -1 to the leaders for killing enemies. Basically this is nutso strong. Even with the Win more condition to make it last _longer_ its still unbelievably overtuned for its CD that low. Used with no marks it still has a 40%ish uptime!
  30.
  31. Kamia - Kamia is really cool and I love it.
  32.
  33. Nagi - One thing I'm curious about, is can you let this stack up by not dissolving all the electrified runes so your whole board becomes electrified runes eventually and you lose? if its just the initial 4 its _OK_ I guess, or if it refreshes to be 4 each round, so you can intentionally gain some damage reduction by only dissolving 3 each turn. That bit is cool. Otherwise its kinda weird to get the board cleanse after dissolving the negative runes. Also when does it happen, it sounds like it happens right away, so it'll cleanse the board in the middle of dissolving :l
  34.
  35. Marcelyne - So... first off you didn't name the active. (lol) Second I'm a little confused how to actually use this card. It SEEMS like what you want to do is choose an attribute of monsters you have in the team and never dissolve that rune for as long as possible, and then dissolve every other type of rune as you have monsters in the team, every turn. Until you want to damage the enemy. While not doing damage, but consuming turns. Its.... interesting. But its not really that good when you could just be doing damage every turn instead of dissolving less runes because you're trying to store some, and dissolve others and stack some runes and.... yeah it just doesn't seem to work in my brain. Maybe you can explain it better but I don't see it really having any impact other than getting you killed. Marcelyne just seems like a filler member for Sara. Also with any runeshare you automatically waste the active.
