<br> The Wiggentree likely borrows its name from one of the numerous folknames for rowan: 'wickentree'. Rowan trees have quite a long history of associations with the protection against evil.

<br> 3-Let's just say it would be really really bad...everything from green sparks, dark grey steam, a sulfurous odor, a cement-like consistency, dangerous instability that will cause it to explode and set one's robes on fire...this sounds like it shouldn't be done in schools.

<br> 5- the potion needs to be stirred 7 times, both clockwise and counter-clockwise
<br> Oh god...Neville would do wonders drinking this. The poor guy is always on edge and anxious and just needs to calm down for a hot second. He's such a wonderful character...he just needs to simmer down! </center>
