  1. 5 years. 5 long, frustrating years since Lorelei had summoned her Servant. Their first meeting had ended poorly, but the Servant seemed to forget it had ever happened, laughing away without a care in the world. The Servant revealed her name, Valeria, at the very least, though she had remained tight lipped about her past, giving the remark “Now now Master, I could tell you now, but you’ll have so much more fun if you find out for yourself”. She disappeared afterwards, to where she knew not, and left her alone once more.
  2.
  3. While her tone had been joking, the words themselves had not, and Lorelei soon came to regret her desire to learn Valeria’s past. The night after she had summoned her Servant, she had begun to experience the memory transfer through the bond. At first, the memories had been surprising; the knowledge that her Servant was a multiverse traveller like the Second raised more then a few questions, though she knew better then to bother querying the woman herself.
  4.
  5. It was a year later that these visions took a turn for the worse. What had been at first just adventuring through different worlds, often even outright boring to watch, began to turn darker. Lorelei had seen many horrors on Dead Apostle hunts, but nothing quite approached the sight of Valeria‘s true nature. The horrifying power and her sickening actions, entire worlds put to the torch for amusement, while she could do nothing but watch. Yet, the demonic beast that lived in those dreams was hard to reconcile with the smiling, lazy woman that lounged across the room from her. She had no doubt that the dreams were true, the hateful aura she felt at their first meeting still fresh in her mind, but it was all too easy to forget that fact. She supposed that was how Valeria wanted it.
  6.
  7. The Grail War had become a bit of an afterthought, she admitted to herself. Summoning this particular servant had all but guaranteed her victory, little as that now mattered. She knew of her Servants likely plans, both for the world at large and for Lorelei herself. The knowledge that you would eventually lose all free will and become a mere slave for a monster like that was difficult to handle.
  8.
  9. Speaking of which, Lorelei turned her head, looking towards the creature that reclined on her couch. Valeria had been laying there motionless for close to an hour now, chuckling under her breath every now and then. She knew what Valeria was doing, looking through the minds of the Magi that milled about beneath them, plucking the more interesting pieces of knowledge from their minds and sowing jealousy and hate amongst them. An immensely petty act, considering how easily she could have learned it herself, and Valeria happily acknowledged the fact. Noticing her gaze, the Servant turned her head to the side and raised an eyebrow. “You require something from me Master? Or…” Her eyes shone as she licked her lips “…do you want to play?”
  10.
  11. Lorelei suppressed a shiver of disgust, thoughts going back unwillingly to the nights Valeria had forced herself on her. Shaking with anger at the memories, which only seemed to make the Servant smile wider, she stood up abruptly. Taking a breath to calm herself, she turned, walking out of the door of her rooms. Valeria fell into step to her side, already humming a happy tune,
  12.
  13. “Time to leave for Fuyuki, eh Master?”
  14.
  15. There was little point in answering, so she did her best to block out the woman’s chatter. The few student’s that were out in the halls quickly ducked back into rooms at the sight of them. Whether that was out of respect or fear didn’t matter, though she suspected the hungry gaze of her Servant meant it was no longer the Queen who provoked a response like that. While mulling over this fact, they reached the ground floor of the Association. A odd pair awaited them, a woman in a suit with magenta hair stood alongside a man with dark blue hair in a brightly coloured shirt. The man looked up, raising a hand and exclaiming “OI! What took you guys so long?”.
  16.
  17. The woman beside him blushed and elbowed him in the side, whispering furiously. He rubbed his side and gave an awkward laugh. Lorelei arrived in front of them, her presence quieting the pair. Her voice rang out, clear and stern “Enforcer McRemitz, Servant Lancer, you are both prepared? We will be leaving immediately.” Valeria walked forward, waving to the blue haired man. “Servant Jumper will be taking us to our destination in Fuyuki City.”
  18.
  19. The looked at them in surprise, opening their mouths to voice their confusion. Before they could speak, Valeria clicked her fingers and a flash of light enveloped the group.
  20.
  21. ----Fuyuki City, Shinto District, Hyatt Hotel-----
  22.
  23. The four appeared with a flash in a brightly lit room. It was luxuriously furnished, in the way any high class hotel was. One of the walls was composed entirely of glass, allowing a stunning overview of the rest of Fuyuki. Bazett stared in shock at the view, trying to comprehend the fact that they had just teleported to the other side of the planet in an instant. Lancer on the other hand, gave an impressed whistle “Quite the power you got there lady, not to mention some pretty fine accommodations.” He flung himself unceremoniously down on one of the couches, letting out a happy sigh. “Have to say, I’m pretty satisfied right here. Nice place, great view, three beautiful women. What more could a guy ask for eh?”
  24.
  25. Valeria laughed, leaning over him. “Oh? Are you already out of steam Lancer? Weren’t you the one raring to go fight all these other heroes? I suppose I’ll have to go without you.” Mock disappointment coloured her voice, as she smiled down at him.
  26.
  27. Cu Chulainn perked up “Tonight? The hell are we waiting for then!?” He leapt back up with a feral grin, the casual clothes fading to be replaced by his blue bodysuit, a red spear appearing on his back. “You got a place in mind or are we going hunting?”
  28.
  29. Breaking out of her daze, Bazett whipped around, reaching out to her Servant “Wait, Lancer don’t jus-“ But it was too late, as that flash of light once again appeared, whisking the two Servants away from the hotel. Letting her arm drop, she huffed as she was left out. Suddenly realising her company, she froze, nervously looking at her superior “M-my apologies your highness.”
  30.
  31. “Shut it McRemitz, I don’t have the patience to deal with formality right now.” Dropping into one of the now vacant chairs, she buried her head in her hands and groaned. Bazett shifted nervously, unsure how to respond to the sudden shift in atmosphere. Glaring out of the corner of her eye, she barked out a command “What are you waiting for girl? Fetch me a drink already. It’s been years since I’ve had even an hour away from that woman, and I’m hardly going to waste it being sober.”
  32.
  33. Grimacing, Bazett began searching the kitchen for alcohol, all the while thinking ‘This really wasn’t what I imagined. At least Lancer might be enjoying himself.” Straightening herself up, she prepared to go entertain her majesty for the night.
  34.
  35. ----Above Fuyuki City----
  36.
  37. “Yahooo!”
  38.
  39. Lancer whooped as they sailed through the air, wind whipping against their faces as they leapt over the rooftops. It’d been too long since he’d gotten to stretch his legs and the anticipation of the fights ahead only spurred him on further.
  40.
  41. Valeria looked at her companion, grinning as she saw his enjoyment, before she increased her speed. Lancer’s eyes narrowed, and he pushed himself to match her, racing towards the divide between the city districts. They clambered over the Fuyuki bridge, their feet barely even touching the structure as they leapt across. Arriving in Miyama Town, Valeria took the lead, guiding her fellow Servant through the winding streets and towards their destination. They slowed as they approach the goal, Homurahara Academy, and skid to a stop in front of the gates.
  42.
  43. It took only a few short leaps to not only vault the gate, but reach the roof of the school. Once they landed, the two paused, taking in deep breaths of the cool night air. Lancer chuckled “You really go all out don’t you lady? Been a while since I had a workout like that.”
  44.
  45. Grinning, she responded “I’m glad you could keep up Lancer, not every man has the endurance to match the spear he carries.”
  46. His eyebrows raised, before he smirked. “Oho? For milady to doubt me so, makes me want to give a demonstration of my skill. Here we are on this quiet roof, even if we howled like dogs I’m sure no one would hear.”
  47.
  48. “I’m afraid we’ll need to find another night to play, we did come here for a reason. They’ll be along shortly.” Turning, she sauntered off towards the side of the building, waving to him behind her back.
  49.
  50. “Eh? You going somewhere Jumper?” More then a little confused at her actions, he asked.
  51.
  52. Looking back over her shoulder, she smirked at him “Didn’t you want the first one for yourself? The servant will be here shortly, I just need to go take care of something else. Enjoy yourself.”
  53.
  54. Watching her race off, he smiled. Quite the gift, he’d make sure to repay well. Stretching a few times, he settled in for a wait but noticed something out of the corner of his eyes. Two figures stood at the entrance to the school, a man and a young girl, both clad in red. He let a grin stretch across his face. It seems that he wouldn’t need to wait long at all.
  55.
  56. ----Suburbs of Miyama District, Fuyuki----
  57.
  58. Shirou Emiya ran as fast as his legs would let him. He did not know how he managed to survive the attack from the blue clad man, as the blood still soaked his shirt even though his body was unmarked. It wasn’t every day you got a second chance at life, and he wasn’t going to waste his hanging around the school.
  59.
  60. His thoughts drifted back to the battle between the red and blue clothed men as he ran. The fight between them was insane, both combatants moving at inhuman speeds. He’d thought that he’d hidden well enough, but the blue man had managed to track him down with ease. The meagre defence he’d put up was woefully inefficient, and he’d promptly been impaled on the long red spear. After that, he couldn’t remember much, just that he was alive and needed to get moving.
  61.
  62. Finally, he arrived back at his home, panting from the exertion. He looked around, noting the lack of any followers and entered the compound. The night had gone on for far too long and all he wanted to do was just get a warm meal and some sleep.
  63. He slipped off his shoes at the entrance, walking into the kitchen still in a daze. Flipping on the lights, he was relieved to see the place unchanged. The kitchen was near empty, devoid of all but two people and some lefto-
  64.
  65. His thoughts skidded to a halt as he noticed the other person in the room, a smiling woman standing in the dining room. She beckoned to him, his body moving over to her and ignoring his commands. They were standing close enough that he could almost feel her breath on his face. She leaned down and looked into his eyes, seeming to be searching for something within them. After a few seconds, she smiled and straightened up.
  66.
  67. “I’ve been looking forward to meeting you for a while now Shirou. Hmm, well, not really. I’ve been looking forward to a certain part of you.” She placed her hand flat against his stomach, her eyes not leaving his.
  68. Shirou felt himself panic, this person wasn’t going to…they weren’t some sort of creep were they? Could she be with the weird people from the school? Before he could continue this line of thought, his vision went white from pain.
  69.
  70. “Aagh…” He looked down to see the arm now embedded in his stomach. He coughed up blood, spraying it on the woman in front of him. He forced his eyes up, his blurry vision focusing on the now grinning woman. He couldn’t move as waves of pain began to assault him as she started digging around inside him.
  71.
  72. He heard the woman groan and felt the arm withdraw, though his body remained standing as his innards spilled out. “Sorry sorry, I forgot it was a spiritual thing. Hmm, Ah! I remember how to do this!”
  73.
  74. She drew back her bloody arm once more, this time it crackled with dark energy. Thrusting it into his chest, it slid in with no blood, though the pain was even worse. He blacked out for a moment, but was awoken by a sharp blow to the face. “Hey now, you’re not allowed to ignore me like that.” She smiled as he came back to consciousness, before continuing her search in his soul.
  75.
  76. He struggled fruitlessly, unable to think of anything but the endless agony and the appendage that pierced his chest. The pain rose to a peak, as she began withdrawing, dragging along a large triangular object with it. As the tip of the object left him, his body collapsed, the strange force no longer holding it steady. Even though he was handed back control of his body, he could not move. His vision was growing dark from the blood loss and all he could do was turn his eyes upward to watch her. She was holding a blue-gold sword sheath in her hands, considering the artefact. She turned to him and smiled.
  77.
  78. “Thanks for the gifts Shirou, I’ll put it and that potential of yours to good use.” Her hand extended towards him, pulsing briefly with power. Shirou felt a brief pressure on his body.
  79.
  80. Then nothing.
  81. --------Switch PoV-----
  82.
  83. Valeria hummed, looking down on the red mess on the floor. She’d make good use of the item and aspects she’d pulled from him, but there was still the issue of how to deal with the corpse.
  84.
  85. ‘Well’, she thought, ‘I am feeling a little peckish.’ She plopped down next to the body, reaching in and grabbing a handful. There were many things to consider in the war, several things which posed a threat even to her. She lifted the handful of meat above her head and dropped it down her gullet, giving a satisfied moan at the taste. It wasn’t often to find someone as good quality as this.
  86.
  87. Caster could be an issue, if she managed to stab Master with that little toy, but overall the Servant herself was rather unthreatening. Pretty cute though, so she’d make sure to not kill her right away. Assassin too was simple enough to deal with, his skill could only go so far.
  88.
  89. Neither Berserker nor Rider had anything that could threaten her, though they both held abilities that definitely garnered her interest, and their Masters were both on her list to collect, as was the Matou girl’s sister. Lancer was on her side and so she could finish him off at her leisure.
  90.
  91. Saber would be interesting, now that Emiya was dead. It would be Arturia who would be summoned, but as to who the Master was? Well, a bit of difference made it all fun. Archer would end up like Shirou, though he might prove to be a bit more entertaining.
  92. A crunch sounded out, she’d moved onto the bones without realising it. Moving back to her thoughts, she thought of the last three possible factors. Zouken was one, easily cleansed from his adopted soul. She’d need to help Sakura along to her fall in his place, but that shouldn’t take much effort with the experience she had. Gilgamesh would need to die quickly, she couldn’t take any chances with some of the weapons in his fault.
  93.
  94. Sighing in satisfaction, she leant back from her now finished meal. Those plans could go on later, she had a week or so from what she remembered of the first war. For now, she’d go back, she had a few appealing playmates back at the hotel anyway.
  95. Standing up, she stretched briefly and patted her stomach, before disappearing in a flash of lig
