  1. In this vid, all I wanted to do was get 10 wins, and buy the Fusions pack. The next one is going to be much more interesting :-)
  2.
  3. 1st Duel
  4. - At around 1:30, I make a mistake in that I let Mother Grizzly get Mirror Force'd. I should've used Book of Moon to protect Grizzly, then set Sangan, but oh well.
  5. - At around 3:35, I use Book to set my own Mermaid, just so I wouldn't see the prompt over and over.
  6.
  7. 2nd Duel
  8. - At around 5:30, I activate Mage, targeting an opponent's monster, just to see if I could trigger Magic Jammer. I knew that I wanted Snatch Steal to go through for sure. The worst possible thing she could have after that would be Mirror Force, which is what she had.
  9. - At around 7:30, I search for Mermaid specifically, just because I know that when she's at 6000 life, all I need to do is attack with Mermaid twice, and Giga once.
  10. - At 7:40, I made a pretty big mistake. Just because I didn't want to see the prompt, I decide to use Book, then chain that with my own Magic Jammer. I'm sure it wound up wasting some time lol.
  11.
  12. - I go to sleep after the second duel, just because Fontaine isn't found in the night very often. Plus, I know that I want to buy cards and potentially improve my deck for next weekend.
  13.
  14. Buying cards
  15. - Here are my personal notes on what you by here:
  16. 1. Fusions: Cyber Stein*, Fusion Gate (III)
  17. - Try to buy 18-19 packs at the same time, getting Cyber Stein and over 80% completion at the same time. Buy in singles to get to 90%.
  18. 2. Continuous Effects: Call of the Haunted* (Set Timing card!), Metal Reflect Slime* (Set Timing card!) (II), Wave-Motion Cannon/Dark Room of Nightmare (II)
  19. - Buy 3 to get Call. Buy 1 pack each to get the rest. Wave and Dark Room are interchangeable.
  20. 3. Buy any new Spell/Trap Collection/Special pack available.
  21. - I had Spell Collection 2, and Trap Special 2, so here's how you buy those:
  22. Spell Collection 2: Change of Heart*, Mystical Space Typhoon* (Set Timing card!), Heavy Storm*
  23. - Buy 4 for Change of Heart, 3 for MST. 1 for Heavy.
  24. - ONLY buy up to 90% if you need Pot of Greed! Save your money if possible.
  25. Trap Special 2: Ceasefire*, Dust Tornado (Set Timing card!)
  26.
  27. - I like Dust Tornado a lot, so that's why I wind up unlocking Trap Special 2. It's better than something like Nobleman of Extermination, just because it can stop Snatch Steal.
  28. - I buy more than necessary of Trap Special 2, just because of old strats, my mistake.
  29. - At around 10:50, I noticed that I have unlocked Spell Collection 2, which is why it looked random.
  30.
  31. - At around 15:00, I edit my deck a little bit. Notice that I Set the Timing for MST and Dust Tornado. Those are probably the most optimal activation settings you could have for those cards.
  32.
  33. 3rd Duel
  34. - Not much to say here, I go through my Grizzly's and win pretty quickly.
  35.
  36. 4th Duel
  37. - This duel is a good example of why it's planned to get more than 10 wins on Fontaine specifically. She winds up having six cards in hand, and yet can play none of them.
  38.
  39. 5th Duel
  40. - This weekend, I duel Jaden at night if I see him. But regardless, I'll use mail to get up to 30 total wins before the next exam. So it's just a little bit faster if you find him at night.
  41. - So the first time I try this, I just kind of pass turns, and hope to use Torrential. But the bastard doesn't really summon anything lol.
  42. - This duel shows kind of a glitch in the game, in that Torrential Tribute can't be activated on something like Premature, or Call of the Haunted. I wind up having no outs, and have to reset.
  43. - I win the next duel just because snatch steal is a good card. Just to mention, at the end I attack with Yomi Ship instead of Giga Gagagigo, just because it was faster to. From here on out, I try to win duels as fast as possible.
  44.
  45. 6th Duel
  46. - At around 29:20, I summon Yomi Ship, with the intent to see if I can bait her backrow.
  47. - At around 30:50, I realize something. Holding the R button outside of duels skips text faster, but holding it when cards are chained goes through that animation faster as well. It's something to note, as little things like that make the game faster.
  48.
  49. 7th Duel
  50. - At around 34:00, I summon Mobius. Just to mention, if you summon a card that activates an effect on it's summon, the AI will not chain things such as Trap Hole or Torrential. So if they had those cards, they wouldn't use it on Mobius's effect.
  51.
  52. 8th Duel
  53. - This duel was really annoying. I try to play carefully baiting his back row, but of course he had an out to most things I wanted to do. One of the longer duels you could have against Jaden.
  54.
  55. 9th Duel
  56. - Around 42:20, I chain MST on Skyscraper, just so I can keep ALO on the field. I have Mermaid in hand, and need ALO there to win the game faster.
  57.
  58. 10th Duel
  59. - Around 44:50, I negate Poly with Magic Jammer, just so Wingman wouldn't be summoned. I've never seen him summon anything else other than Wingman with Poly.
  60. - The second I summon Levia, I just want to nuke the field first before putting anything else on the field. So that's why a few turns pass before I do anything except attack with Levia.
  61.
  62. Next time, I'm going to make a completely new deck.
  63.
  64. Overall wins: 30
  65. Syrus (9) Chumley (7) Jaden (7) Fontaine (7).
