When the leader of a team of scientists volunteers to be the test subject for their experiment in human invisibility, he slowly unravels and turns against them, with horrific consequences.
Having discovered they could turn animals invisible, a group of scientists test the subject on a human. Head of research, Dr. Sebastian Caine decides to use himself as the subject. After the experiment can't be reversed, it takes a toll on Caine's personality, causing him to hunt down and kill his colleagues
An amazingly bad film. About a scientist who wants to become god by becoming invisible. His co-workers have a little more sense and try to stop him. However, even Plato would have problems understanding the motivations behind some of the characters' actions (if that's at all possible). How can a bunch of clowns like that be called scientists? Every other word ouf of their mouths is f***. If the government has such immature morons working for them then God help us all. Naturally, the movie has the usual ingredients of murders, explosions and nudity that, it stands as proven in the Hollywood success books, ensure a good dollar for the producers of this pathetic flop. The ending is a clear import from "Aliens". The only thing worth mentioning are the special effects, and they are the only reason why one can't give this disaster a '1' it truly deserves with a clear conscience.
What went wrong with this movie?  I was really looking forward to this one. The plot was out back having a smoke break and the script must have been written by a five year old.  I have to feel sorry for Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth Shue as I dont think their careers are going to take a upward path after starring in this clunker.  The special effects are fantastic but everything else about this movie takes a back seat to them. The one question I have to ask though is why does making yourself invisible turn you superhuman with the ability to survive anything thrown at you?.<br/><br/>Poor
Ultimately the title is most revealing. It's hollow, man.
Being released as a Director&#39;s Cut nearly seven minutes of new footage were added to this movie. Most of these new scenes are story extensions but there are also two shots with added violence plus the rape scene was prolonged as well. This film is inspired by the novella &quot;The Invisible Man&quot; by H. G. Wells. The stories are quite different though, taking place in a different time period and a different place with a completely different series of events.  a5c7b9f00b
