BACKGROUND 》rohee was born to a mother and an absent father on march 14th, 1995 in gangnam, south korea. she grew up to have trusts issues due to her father and was never someone who was very outgoing. instead of trusting everyone right away, she values strong trust bonds.

at school, she was a nice student, not a straight A student at all, but someone who was kind of an all rounder and managed to not fail any subject. she then attended an arts high school, she asked her mother to enroll her into lila arts high school, where she was taught a lot about music and performing. she managed to become one of the schoolʼs top students when it came to rap. she was also in a small cover team formed by other classmates, theyʼd go out busking in the streets of hongdae. it was then that she was first casted by a company ; banana culture.

she trained with them for 2 years but was talked out of the agency due to a health problem she had ; a hereditary iron deficiency. she had gotten it from her father and although nowadays sheʼs much better and the situation is controlled, back then it made her pass out and feel sick all the time which was leading her to skip practice and the company just wasn't having it. she took a break from training because of her health and started taking better care of herself and focusing on studies, having managed to be class president in her last two years in high school.

she attended university and graduated with a degree in music production and recording arts. in her last year of university, she successfully got accepted into sm entertainment and has been training with them since then.
