- The following rules apply to all the MineCats Minecraft Servers, Discord and the Forums. The rules are listed in alphabetical order and not in order of importance. This is strictly a guideline and in some instances will not be followed exactly as every situation is unique.
- Advertising: (no set date, user must ban appeal, minimum 31 days)
- Chat Related Offenses - Minor: 1-3 hour mute
- Chat Related Offenses - Major: minimum 1-3 day ban (no set date, user must ban appeal)
- Exploiting bugs/glitches/
- Griefing - Minor: 1-15 day ban
- Griefing - Major: minimum 16-31 day ban (no set date, user must ban appeal)
- Hacking - Non pvp server: minimum 14 days (no set date, user must ban appeal)
- Hacking - Pvp server: minimum 31 days ( no set date, user must ban appeal)
- Malicious links etc.. - 31 day ban (no set date user must ban appeal)
- Malicious Intent (DDoS, Crashing)- 31 day ban ( no set date user must ban appeal)
- Offensive minecraft names/skins/capes/pets/weapons: skin/capes told to change immediately (3-15 day ban), names (31 day ban)
- Racism Chat/Build - 1-31 day ban (1-15 day ban discuss with player, 16+ days ban appeal)
- Scamming: 7-31 day ban
- Staff Disrespect: 1-10 day automatic ban
- Staff Impersonation: 1-7 day ban
- Threats (Death Threats/DoX/Account Hacking) 7-31
- Trapping (tping, death, warps/killing such as placing lava or using mobs ) - 14-31 days (no set date player must ban appeal)

- Sharing other ips/website/domain in public chat/msgs/signs etc... other than MineCats will result in a ban. Do not advertise any twitch or youtube channel unless you have a Youtuber rank (click here for youtuber rank info)

- MineCats is a family server and in such all material should be appropriate for all ages. Any Inappropriate Language and Content is not allowed. Do not spam the same/similar messages repeatively within a short period of time. Do not use large amounts of capitals.

- Exploiting Bugs/Glitches

- If you have found a bug/glitch tell staff immediately via /modreq. Telling other players and not reporting it to staff will result in a ban.

- Griefing

- Griefing is not allowed. You are responsible for who you add to your plot/claim/island/cell etc.. Add players with whom you know you can trust. Any build that is not yours whether its in the wild or not, do not destroy.

- Allowed mods are FPS improvement mods, shaders, armor/status effect hud modifications, brightness/gamma adjustmenets, minimap modifications as long as they do not display players/entities or cave systems. Any other mod that gives you an unfair advantage over others is not allowed. If you are unsure please contact a staff member.

- Posting malicious links or threats is absolutely not allowed.

- Any skin/cape/name/pet/weapon etc.. is strictly prohibited.

- Respect everyone

- Any racism is not allowed. No sexism, rude remarks about disabilities, age, religion etc...

- Respect Staff

- Do not argue with decisions/judgements made by staff. All decisions are final. Do not rage, complain or attempt to humilate staff on the forums. Any threads of this nature will be removed. If you feel a staff member is being abusive, contact the Senior Adminstrator of that server on the forums.

- Scamming is not allowed except on servers with pvp.

- Do not allow huge numbers of entities to build up, e.g. by idling at a non-kill mob grinder or breeding an absurd number of animals.
- All redstone must have an off switch (or the ability to automatically turn off when not in use)
