Greed had been playing at a forest as he had been tired and really hungry...He sighted a cave and he decided to take a quick nap inside of it. He had entered the caves as it had been dark and also water had been dripping...As bats had flown through the cave as Greed had been startled a little bit also there were a few bugs but Greed wasn't really scared of a lot of things...He had gone deep in the cave the deeper it got the more beautiful the cave was it had a clean, glistening Waterfall and beautiful vines and shiny ores...

They were a vine there as he had decided it could hurt to climb down as he decided to take a nearby vine down the Cave as he had gone deep in they were a beautiful room filled with shiny ores diamonds and everything Greed could have wanted but it was actually impossible to break...He even sneaked power tools through his house to get it after a few days and they all broke...But they were actually a secret door behind it...And he had triggered it...

He had gone through the door as it had displayed a skeleton and a chest next to it the Skeleton had arrows and swords stabbed through it most likely cause it's...Well, death. He had been surprised but as it kid, he really thought it was a fake one...He had tried to take the chest but the skeleton grip somehow was actually strong...He had pulled it so hard the Skeleton hand had actually broken apart from it...He had opened a chest as it had displayed a weird fruit he was really hungry like stated before...So foolishly he had eaten it whole...

As he had gone out of the cave normally and nothing weird had happened...He went home...When he woke up the next day his town had been destroyed by the marines...They were searching for the fruits...And turns out They couldn't find in the cave where it was hidden they saw the secret door had been opened...Showing that someone had looted it...He had seen the place had been demolished His parents who had been pirates at the time was thought to be the culprits so the Marines had killed anyone able to had stolen the fruit and hoped that the Devil fruit would come...But it hadn't they had left the kids behind...Since they were too stupid to know about it.

Greed knew he was a culprit he had ran away from his past and from his hometown...As Lougetown had been rebuild Greed could never go there again knowing what he had done he hates the marines and had become an Assassin to kill them...And to kill one the leaders the Admirals...He would keep coming getting stronger and keep killing any admirals who stood in his path...He changed his Identity he was now known As Greed X. Stealer.
