  1. Ideas for a 20XX Discord Server Bot
  2.
  3. LOOKING FOR GAME Feature
  4. Players can type [!lfg] or [!ready] to begin looking for a game on the Discord. The bot will add the player to a list of "readied players".
  5. If a player wants to cancel the request, they can type [!lfg] again (it's a toggle) or [!unready]
  6. When two players are ready, the bot will notify both players (via ping) and remove them from the list. (If a player gets put in a game with an AFK player, they can just add themselves back in to the list)
  7. Maybe the bot could automatically add players to a "Looking For Game" group too? Would appear above Nina and Ace in the player list, but would have no colour
  8. "LFG Tags" feature!
  9. Players can type things like [!lfg new]/[!lfg nina-only]/[!lfg memes] to ready up using a tag
  10. When a player has readied up using a custom tag, they will *only* be put in games with people who have readied up using the same tag
  11. This can be used to prevent new players playing with experienced ones.
  12. ie: A new player would type [!lfg new] to indicate he only wants to play with fellow new players
  13. If a player readies up without a tag, he will NOT be put with players who have readied up with a tag, and vice versa.
  14. [!games] Command:
  15. Used to see if anyone is currently looking for a game, *AND WHAT TAGS THEY'RE USING*
  16. Not sure if I want to auto-unLFG someone if they've been inactive for 1 hour
  17.
  18. AUTOMATIC UPDATE LOGS
  19. Literally so Scironex doesn't have to manually get update information all the time.
  20. Should work similar to the existing Mee6 bot
  21. Also should check if the game's been Hotfixed. (ie: an update which didn't occur around 11pm on a Wednesday)
  22. Not sure how I could make the bot do this. Is there an API to check the Steam News page of a game, or when it was last updated?
  23. I know Steam Spy or whatever it's called can tell that information, so ...
