  3.
  4. 1. Ruleset and Settings:
  5. - Ruleset is DDR (https://wiki.ootrandomizer.com/index.php?title=Dungeon_Door_Requirement) but **with Equip Swap allowed**.
  6. - The game mode is Triforce Hunt, and you must collect 9 out of a total of 12 Triforce Pieces. These Triforce Pieces are placed at: the heart containers in Deku Tree, Dodongo’s Cavern, Jabu-Jabu’s Belly, Forest Temple, Fire Temple, Water Temple, Shadow Temple, and Spirit Temple, the lens of truth chest in Bottom of the Well, the Ice Arrow chest in Gerudo Training Grounds, the iron boots chest in Ice Cavern, and the 50 gold skulltula reward.
  7.
  8. 2. Set up:
  9. - Use the online Magic 8-ball tool found here: https://www.online-stopwatch.com/random-name-pickers/magic8ball/?r=SrO9NHmThb or https://www.online-stopwatch.com/random-name-pickers/magic8ball/?r=SrO9NHmThb/fullscreen for the fullscreen version. This has custom sides set up for each of the different areas in OoT.
  10. - It is recommended (but not required) to turn off the sound effects, found in the top-left section next to the settings button. The sound effect might get annoying after a while, and is also RIDICULOUSLY loud.
  11. - After rolling, an option box will appear in the bottom-right section. **Make sure to unselect the 'Remove option' button**, and then select Continue. This will keep the area in the pool, so it can be selected again. If you accidentally remove an option, you'll have to refresh the page to bring the full list back.
  12.
  13. 3. Magic 8 Ball Rules:
  14. - You may clear as many or as few checks as you would like in the starting area.
  15. - Once you decide to leave an area (including the starting area), you must roll the magic 8-ball to determine where to go. As long as that area can be accessed with your current equipment (following the DDR ruleset) and that there is at least one check there that you are capable of getting with your glitch knowledge and experience, you must go to the area that is rolled. Yes, even if the method to get that check is a stupid crazy glitch that no one in their right mind should ever do.*
  16. - Note that that also includes if the area that is rolled is the area you are currently in. Maybe that check you skipped has something important and the magic 8-ball is trying to help?
  17. - You may collect non-randomised checks (i.e. ocarina, weird egg, etc.) at any time. You do not need to wait for the magic 8 ball to tell you to go to that area. Note that the locations of songs are randomised, and so this does not apply to them.
  18. - If there are no more checks in an area that was rolled, or if you are not able to get any more checks there that you can get with your current equipment, then reroll for a new area. That includes non-randomised items you have not yet collected (i.e., you do not need to collect more skulls to check the 20 skulltula reward).
  19. - Once in a new area, you must collect at least one check, but can collect as many checks as you would like.
  20. - The names of areas have generally been defined as per the spoiler log, but for convenience a few areas have been combined. "Outside Hyrule/Ganon's Castle" combines the child Great Fairy in Hyrule Castle and the adult Great Fairy outside Ganon's castle. "Inside Ganon's Castle/Ganon's Tower" combines all of the checks in trials as well as the check in Ganon's Tower (the vanilla BK chest).
  21.
  22. * Don’t feel absolutely pressured if you are getting frustrated with a trick. If that happens, just get a different check or roll again for a new area. Be kind to yourselves <3
