A Measured response

My "evidence" that I'm willing to provide is entirely anecdotal and you'll understand my reasoning for that as you keep reading.  I was the one who told the community the significance of turbo controllers, I was even the person who campaigned to get them either banned or to have a variable on SRC to denote the use of turbo in the first place so it doesn't really make sense for me to fight so hard to raise awareness for these controllers and find a middle of the road solution only then to use it myself in a way that breaks the rules.  On top of that, Turbo isn't expressly banned in the current ruleset, I mistakenly said that but nowhere in the rules are turbo controllers banned (You can check for yourself)  This isn't me admitting to using it outside of practice (I usually say on stream something like let me test that with turbo or my hands hurt I'm gonna switch to turbo for the rest of a practice session)  The MH SRC community in the past has lacked knowledge on insanely simple concepts like timer manipulation which can actually be used for cheating.  I also went out of my way to show them how that works and propose a solution for a game that I'm not a mod in, make of this information what you will because I am NOT a full time content creator or streamer so I do not benefit negatively or positively from any of this, therefore I don't want to sacrifice my free time to respond further.  Speedrunning is a hobby, SRC is such a small portion of the MH community that I literally do not care of my standing here and it will not stop me from speedrunning because I've been doing it as a hobby for 10+ years with no issues and I'll continue to do it in the future with no issues.


I'm not trying to give the most canned cop out answer of all time but I'm also not trying to go out of my way to "Prove my innocence" to a full time content creator who has all the time in the world (not to mention a seemingly personal vendetta) to formulate his own story and to do "Frame analysis" of a buggy game that doesn't even work well enough for turbo to be used at an advantage in the full game without external macro devices (Which neither me and extros own)  I'm going to step down from this for my own sake because I'm sick and tired of the drama in the MH community, the second people start to get along some asshat has to make some more and I don't really need this in my life.  Make your own decisions, if you think I cheated then I cheated, I literally don't care and I will not stop speedrunning.
