Answer: The Aryan folk used to be one united Folk, with one language, religion, and culture. The Aryans spread out, became more isolated from each other, and developed all the types of paganism you see today. (Celtic, Germanic, Hellenic etc.)The differences in the gods are cultural and in name only for the most part,

Unwashed Pagans Meme: Christians often use this meme that Pagans didn't wash themselves. (note, they conveniently forget the Hellenes and the Romans...) However, this is entirely false. The Germanics would wash themselves in the river on a weekly basis. Saturday is still called "Washing Day" in a lot of Germanic rivers. Early Christians, following the philosophy of Augustine, lobbied to shut down Bath houses because they saw them as a vain, unnecessary, and unchristian tradition that was too "worldly". This practice of being against hygiene led to a large number of plagues across Europe, in particular, urban cities such as Rome and Constantinople. The Christians in England would also often make fun of invading Danes for "washing themselves so much."


Óðinn drinks Cum Meme: Anti-Pagans also often spam this image macro in Pagan threads, which claims that "Óðinn drank the semen ejaculated by the hanged men" and that Óðinn "gained arcane knowledge by swallowing semen," and that he had "nothing to lose from feminization" because he was a "magic deity". Now, it's important to note that this information was not written with ANY credible sources. It's also important to note that this comes from the book Construction of Homosexuality, by David F.
