  1. You had mentioned wanting Psyche's spear to be a slashing one earlier. Generally most spear spears are stabbers, but you could go with a glaive or something. There's a lot of fitting stuff that people generally put into the pole-arm category if that's not too far from your vision. You could also just describe it as "leaf-shaped"; I think the Greeks had spears like that which could slash a bit.
  2.
  3. >removing it to step back and watch you bleed.
  4. Not the biggest fan of the "to" purpose clause here, both because you used one in this sentence already and because the removal doesn't really facilitate the stepping back.
  5. >Psyche knocks you to your back with a brutal kick and you
  6. comma after "kick"
  7. >to feel chill from its loss.
  8. I think this "its" is a bit too far removed from its antecedent (it's also interrupted by "body").
  9. >I wonder just how it will feel, stabbing you over
  10. Hasn't she been doing this? I understand that she'll be stabbing you even more excessively, but you might want to differentiate this action a bit.
  11. >I'm sorry. For betraying me,
  12. I understand that the "for" bit is leading into her unfinished thought, but on first reading it joined up with "sorry," which confused me. Maybe insert a "but"?
  13. >we're going to
  14. We're (also I really liked this line)
  15. >Her words would be difficult to pull meaning out of at the best of times,
  16. Well, fair enough then.
  17. >You're panting, as blood fills your lungs
  18. I would recommend against this comma. I've been sensing a pattern where you seem to see time based phrases like this one (looking at the previous suggestions for examples turned up "at the moment" and "in the blink of an eye") as being more separate from main clauses. If this just comes down to a difference of opinion/style, feel free to keep doing things your way, but I think these often flow better without a comma.
  19. >meaning from deranged babbling
  20. Repetition of "meaning," and also there should probably be a the/her/this after "from."
  21. >thrusts her spear forward and you
  22. comma after "forward"
  23. >You hear a loud thunk, and feel a heavy pressure descend on your chest, and you think it is all over.
  24. That first comma shouldn't be there, and the subjects of both clauses are the same, which is a lil' awkward.
  25. >with the face of an angel and,
  26. comma after "angel"
  27. >so that she can stab you, instead
  28. Think the comma shouldn't be here
  29. >ironclad
  30. "Ironclad" is more "well protected"/"impervious" than just "strong," so I don't think it works with "grip."
  31. >grabbing hold of an overhanging length of hemp rope to remain airbound,
  32. Where did the rope come from? Did she plant it during the fight earlier? Does Charybdis just have ropes hanging around?
  33. >Two in one
  34. on
  35. >I'll kill you and let "
  36. extra space after "let"
  37. >i'll
  38. I'll
  39. >Even as she bleeds and cries out in pain, she shakes her head and apologizes for startling you soon after,
  40. The "as" implies she's doing the stuff at the same time as the crying out, but the "soon after" clashes with this. If it's meant to be that she's repeatedly apologizing, you might want to throw in something like "always" to make it clear.
  41. >thick cream
  42. Repetition of "thick"
  43. >assaulting the taste of copper and suffering filling your mouth with the cloying sweetness of her hindmilk.
  44. "Assaulting" feels a little bit weird given that the new taste is meant to be positive, but I get it if you want something more evocative than just "replacing" or whatever. Also, I've learned what "hindmilk" is now, so thanks I guess.
  45. >'hero?'
  46. I think that question mark should be outside of the quotes. It's only when it's part of the quote itself that non-period/comma punctuation makes it inside.
  47. >very pleasant little nap, soon.
  48. This comma feels a bit off to me, but less so than the previous ones.
  49. >'hero!'
  50. same deal
  51. >You can't help but notice, however, that, as she's crying,
  52. I just thought I should let you know, I finished to this string of commas.
