- Baton passed through everyone 2-2N
- [Schoolyard]
- Anz: The centipede race we're running in starts after the next one. Should we do one last check? [1]
- Nat: You're right. Let's start with the order we're lining up in... I'm at the front.
- Anz: Since it seems it's better to put tall, fast people at the front.
- Aya: The second tallest person here is Miroku-senpai, but since apparently the person at the back should have a loud voice...
- Yum: I shall give commands and shout motivationally from the rear. You could call me the leader.
- Yum: Everyone, I ask that you listen to my voice and the orders I give well.
- Aya: Yeah, we're counting on you, Miroku-senpai.
- Yum: Also, we must adjust the length of the string tying our legs.
- Yum: A longer string would make it easier to move,
- but making it longer made me trip and fall on my rear...
- Anz: But it's good we realised that before the race started.
- Nat: The rope shouldn't be too long or too short... Just enough not to be loose.
- Yum: This should be alright. Well then, let us go to the gathering area.
- Anz: Aya-chan, are you nervous?
- Aya: Yeah... A little.
- Anz: Makes sense. Me too, actually. It's even worse because this isn't an individual competition.
- Yum: Well, I cannot say I fail to understand what you mean. However, Kokudo-san, Iyojima-san, right now there is only one thing you must do.
- Yum: And that is to have trust in my voice calling "And one, and two. And one, and two." and run.
- Nat: Miroku is right. I can't say we've had sufficient training, but I want you to trust and follow us.
- Aya: I'll trust you as our seniors and do my very best!
- Aya: Me too. Natsume-san, I'll be watching your back and giving it my all!
- Nat: Let's do this. When Miroku shouts "Go!", start with your right leg.
- Student in charge: The centipede race will be starting soon. Get in positions and check whether the string linking your legs is tied properly.
- Yum: Go!
- Yum: And one, and two! And one, and two!
- Nat: And one, and two! And one, and two!
- Aya: And one, and two! And one, and two!
- Anz: And one, and two! And one, and two!
- Anz: (But really, was there any need to put "and" in our shout...) [2]
- Yum: And one, and two! And one, and two! I cannot hear you!
- Suz: Ayaya and the other three are doing their best, but they're falling behind...
- Hin: Yeah. But this is when we should cheer on them! Go, go! Anzu-san!
- Mit: Go, go! Kohagura-san! Go for it, go for it! Aya-chan!
- Suz: (Does this mean I have to yell too?.. I don't wanna stand out... But!)
- Suz: Go... Go... Miroku-san. Go for it, go for it, Miroku-san.
- Yum: And one, and two! And one, and two! The goal is in our sight!
- Aya: R-Right! And one, and two! And one, and two!
- Anz: Just a little more...
- Nat: ...Alright, we made it.
- Yum: Aww... Getting fourth place is somewhat unfortunate...
- Aya: I'm sorry... It's my fault. I was thinking to myself I had to run fast, though...
- Anz: Me too... I got nervous when we had to turn back and took too long.
- Nat: Don't worry about it, you two. I had fun running in the centipede race with all of you.
- Nat: That's the best reward. The results don't matter.
- Anz: Natsume-san!
- Aya: Thank you very much, Natsume-senpai.
- Yum: Mrgh... Natsume-san took my chance to show off as their senior.
- Yum: However... Shake it off!
- Yum: All of us making it without any injuries is the most important thing in the Sentinel squad.
- Yum: I think it is splendid that we accomplished the duty of running in the centipede race!
- Suz: Miroku-san, it sounds like you're saying something good, but it sounds kind of forced, or empty if you would...
- Yum: My! Suzume-san, how can you say that!?
- Suz: Come on... Of course I'd want to make a tsukkomi when you're making such a smug face.
- Aya: But Suzume-senpai, thanks to Natsume-senpai and Miroku-senpai I feel like I should try harder.
- Anz: Yeah. Sulking won't change anything.
- Yum: See!? My words made the two of them full of motivation.
- Suz: Yeah, yeah. What wonderful juniors they are.

- Notes:
- 1 - Centipede race is a competition where multiple people are lined up in a file and joined together when running. Think three-legged race but with multiple people.
- 2 - Yumiko is using the respectful prefix "o" before "one, two".
