no runs FAQ -- august 2014

Stream FAQ:

Q) Why no 100% speedruns?
A) My strats are outdated. My PB is from November 2013. I need to overhaul and learn all the new tech/swag that relevant runners like 2Stop are doing now. I'll be studying his runs/strats (seen here: https://twitter.com/Doublestoppu/status/494717267964207104; strats explained here: http://pastebin.com/TFZ6WPxZ). I'll also address my Mistake Log (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1h0iKPEupxvOZP3gkzw5q3HrJqjchQGZlDGh8BlQcIiM/edit#gid=0) too. Key is progress. I'm too behind the meta to bother doing runs atm.

Q) When do runs happen again?
A) Whenever I can't tell what glaringly needs practice. Runs dictate Practice. Practice dictates Runs. Probably at least 2 weeks.

Q) Why -more- Stepmania?
A) I value execution. I've been wanting to make it a regular thing. It may be boring to watch now, but with legit-growth, it'll get more entertaining eventually. Also, what I gain here is applicable across Yoshi's Island as well as every other game I play. =)
