Porale was originally a depressive person, never leaving his home, and Nina was a chaotic barbarian, traveling in a band of raiders before they met each other. Normally this wouldn't have a magical curse, but with their love for each other being so strong, and reaching above race, the witch Portash, a spiteful old crone, cursed them to never be able to leave their sight, otherwise their old selves take over until they are brought back together. Porale becomes a beast that sees only foes to be slane, and Porale draws within himslef, a sack of unhappiness, sadness, and depression that can barely bring himself to breath.
