Tara - Bludgeon

> Suddenly, from out of the jungle behind him, a large human figure leaped
out...it was Tara. " Mikey stay here ", she yelled, " Tara help." Mike stood
in utter shock as the six foot - six inch 350 pound Amazon with her enormous
club faced off against the twenty - foot tall, eight ton dinosaur. He couldn't
believe his eyes; was she willing to risk her life just to save him ? After he
tried to run away ? As the mighty Amazon and the ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex
squared off against one another, Mike could only stand there - petrified - and
watch with awe at the battle that was about to take place.

> The huge dinosaur, jaws wide open, surged forward at the seemingly helpless
woman. When he was within range, Tara swung her enormous club and a loud "
WHAM " was heard. The T-Rex's head snapped back and several teeth went flying
out of his mouth. Again the infuriated beast attacked her, and again Tara's
powerful club slammed hard against the creature's jaw. Stunned by this
unexpected opposition, the Tyrannosaurus retreated; this was the sign for Tara
to attack. Wielding her mighty 150 pound club with the ease of a baseball bat,
the awesome Amazon began to strike the slowmoving dinosaur at will. So
powerful were Tara's blows that Mike could actually hear the sounds of bones
cracking every time her club made contact. Time and again, the enormous
dinosaur tried to strike at her, but the nimble Amazon easily avoided his
thrusts and countered with tremendous blows from her club. It wasn't long
before Tara had the gigantic carnivore on the defensive. Realizing he'd met
his match, the huge creature turned around and began to flee...but Tara would
have none of it. With a speed that amazed him, Mike watched in disbelief as
Tara easily overtook the fleeing dinosaur and continued to smash the most
ferocious creature ever to have walked on the surface of the earth. She did it
without hate or malice though, it was just her job. Afterall, wasn't this the
way it had always been ? She was Tara, the protector and defender of the
village; as was her mother before her, and HER mother before her...and so
on... back through the countless generations of time. For some reason, which
nobody could explain, the females of her genetic line had always possessed
great size and strength and it was to them that the people of the village
looked to for protection.Tara had no doubt that when she had a daughter, she
would someday assume Tara's responsibility; as it had always been.

> Mike watched in total awe as Tara, within minutes, reduced the huge
Tyrannosaurus Rex into a helpless, pathetic creature. Never again would he
threaten Mike or any of the people of her village. His legs were broken, his
jaw shattered, his days of terrorizing over.There remained only one more thing
to do; put him out of his misery. As the crippled dinosaur, unable to stand,
struggled to squirm away, Tara dropped her club and approached him. She
wrapped her powerful arms around his neck and began to squeeze. Soon a loud "
CRACK " was heard. Tara opened her arms and the lifeless creature fell to the
ground; killed, by a superior woman.
