  1. [17:15] The Radiant's silence stretched a bit too long at the address before he bowed his head likewise. As his gaze flicked away from Sina and Robin he caught shadows at the edges of his vision, but they prompted no outward response.
  2.
  3. His own graveled tone joined in to those hushed tones then he began to move toward the north-eastern quadrant of town unless halted.
  4. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  5. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  6.
  7. [17:15] Robin lux Queen says, "---"
  8. [17:15] Valero lux Montclaire whispers something.
  9. [17:16] Robin lux Queen whispers something.
  10. [17:16] Valero lux Montclaire whispers something.
  11. [17:16] Robin lux Queen whispers something.
  12. [17:21] A Deacon of the Faith, wearing a star-shaped pendant, carrying an up-to-date version of the Codex Cosmic, and bringing with her a small, relaxed smile, wanders up to the two knights and celestial-mana surrounded woman!
  13.
  14. "Greetings, Sir Robin and company! I'd just like to quickly say hello, as I don't believe I've met either of you!"
  15.
  16. As the soft-spoken teenager speaks, her free, right hand moves in little flourishes and deliberate, subtle gestures! This incidentally showcases a symbol in ink upon her palm - two parallel lines and a horizontal that connects them. A Celestialist would recognize such as the symbol of Yiel.
  17.
  18. "My name is Yiel, Deacon of The Faith. I've taken the name of the star I feel closest to."
  19.
  20. As she falls quiet, awaiting their words, her hands come to rest before her, both holding that Codex as she stands up straight and true!
  21. (Yiel)
  22. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  23.
  24. [17:28] The older knight's departure was halted and through the shroud of negativity that clouded his mind he still found it within him to summon a rather genuine smile for the woman.
  25.
  26. "Valero lux Montclaire, Deacon Yiel." The Faith always struck a soft spot with him which made it easier to offer that warm greeting. "A pleasure to meet you."
  27.
  28. He pauses, eyes flicking to Robin, then back to Yiel, "Actually, I was about to speak with Sir Robin on a topic that might interest The Faith, Deacon." He had asserted that they needed to expand who knew.
  29.
  30. It was time to act on that and the 'coincidence' was just a bit too close to home to ignore, "You are more than welcome to accompany us."
  31. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  32. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  33.
  34. [17:29] Looking back to Yiel from the lake as he was about to head off to speak with Valero about the things he'd mentioned, Robin would offer the girl a smile and nod over her introduction to Sina and the Radiant.
  35.
  36. He'd already met her in smithing his sword but it was always nice to make her acquaintance and those allied with the church.
  37.
  38. "Ah? Oh, hello again Yiel.
  39.
  40. How're ya doin'? Swear the park's been feelin' emptier an' emptier lately. But it's calmin' to say the very least." he'd say, now resting his elbow on top of Sina's head with a smirk down to her.
  41.
  42. Though Valero's words were a bit daunting he kept his apparent cheer here, thinking that it might bear fruit... whatever he was discussing.
  43. (Robin lux Queen)
  44. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  45.
  46. [17:32] Yiel's voice beckons Sina's gaze over to the eager woman, so exuberant was she. "Salutations. I am Sina."
  47.
  48. She was merely here to linger around the Exarch, but new faces were a welcome sight.
  49.
  50. Robin's elbow prompts a minor twitch in her brow that quickly returns to its positioning. Sina may have been five feet, but that was no reason to use her as a table.
  51. (Sina)
  52. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  53.
  54. [17:38] The young woman bears with her that smile and a cool, calm, relaxed presence! A little curtsy is given to both Valero and Sina, once they've introduced themselves, but she doesn't speak until all of them have - not even to make a small comment. After they have, however, she speaks in turn.
  55.
  56. "I'm honored to meet you, Sir Valero and Lady Sina. Likewise, I would be more then happy to accompany your group. I might be able to assist in some way - as my time as part of the Sisters of Saint Niles of Astya have taught me quite a bit of stellar lore."
  57.
  58. As she speaks, her symbol-marked hand moves in those little gestures of hers, opting to stride closer, prepared to follow the others! For a teenager, though, that's a fairly large boast to know such lore! Perhaps an overestimation? But she said such with confidence...
  59.
  60. "I agree, however, Sir Robin. It's been quiet, as of late."
  61. (Yiel)
  62. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  63.
  64. [17:38] Robin lux Queen says, "Ah--Hey Agrien. I'll need to seeyah after all o' this."
  65. [17:40] The ginger nodded with a smile as she already expected Robin to mention it as soon as she arrived, sitting down by the stool at the table with an elbow resting on it, as she crossed her legs calmly while making herself comfortable.
  66.
  67. "I know, everything is almost ready actually. Take your time." with a dip from her head she opened a small handbook she was reading, but not before she relayed her greetings to the others as well. "-And good evening Miss Sina, Sir Valero, and Mis Yiel, yes?"
  68.
  69. A playful and heartful smile followed, as she lowered her eyes to that book again, not intending too much to take the attention of their conversation towards her.
  70. (Agrien Vandroy)
  71. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  72.
  73. [17:41] Sina whispers something.
  74. [17:41] A brief wave is passed along to Agrien.
  75.
  76. "A pleasure seeing you again."
  77. (Sina)
  78. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79.
  80. [17:44] Andromeda ven Grimmore asks, "..Is that a new sword, Ser Berrios?"
  81. [17:45] There's a smile given towards Agrien, awaiting a small turn to call out softly towards the Vandroy!
  82.
  83. "Good evening to you as well, miss Agrien."
  84.
  85. Cool, calm, and relaxed, the Deacon holding her Codex Cosmic! Though, she is momentarily distracted by the appearance of the Grimmore! Looking to the child of red with a smile! Still, despite her station and relative experience with people, she doesn't approach, not currently.
  86.
  87. Star-struck, really. Members of the three crown-guard families are often seen as heroes! Deserved or not.
  88. (Yiel)
  89. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  90.
  91. [17:46] Berrios Falstaff says, "-Slightly. I had to have it refitted."
  92. [17:46] The newly appeared Deacon's presence seemed to be quite the blessing learned as they were. "I am sure that will be most handy." The words were clipped and short, but he meant it.
  93.
  94. Still he was unsure how to proceed with what he knew and his gaze swept over to Sina, "..Miss Sina you are welcome to come with us if Robin trusts you." It seemed they were friends and he believed in the Exarch's judgement and discretion.
  95.
  96. It was more than he had anticipated, but still manageable enough. He could live with two extra people thinking he was mad at the worst outcome, "Come, we will discuss this elsewhere."
  97.
  98. Once more he begins to move pausing briefly to offer a polite dip of the head to Agrien.
  99. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  100. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  101.
  102. [17:46] Berrios Falstaff says, "Radiant Vandigan made it for me when I was young, but it's still valuable."
  103. [17:46] Andromeda ven Grimmore says, "It looks nice."
  104. [17:57] The Radiant made haste winding through the city streets until they arrived in the northeastern edge of the city and the sprawling manors came into view. He did not pause his stride as they drew near, servants opening the doors to accommodate the party.
  105.
  106. Though grand upon the outside the foyer was strangely minimalistic and the rooms beyond bore a Magnolian aesthetic particularly noticeable in the indoor garden that was maintained.
  107.
  108. He paused before the host's seat waiting for the others to make themselves comfortable first. Once all were sat he lingered a moment, "Last night my dreams were invaded by one of the witches of Moonfall."
  109.
  110. It was a strong beginning for sure, but in truth it seemed the easiest thing to speak compared to what all implications it held for those not privy to the visions as he, Robin, and Adrielle.
  111.
  112. "Yet, I did not meet them in the usual world of dreams. Instead we stood before a twisted version of The House of Visions, split between light and dark." His speech slows as he works to remember what all details were necessary for the newcomers to understand.
  113.
  114. "My connection of Geist means I do not dream as normal so instead we met among the stars." With that he settles down upon his own cushion, chestnut hues flicking between each and awaiting the stream of questions he anticipated.
  115.
  116. It was best to be blunt and to the point on such things.
  117. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  118. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  119.
  120. [18:00] * You have been awarded 4 Roleplay Points! *
  121. [18:05] The young Deacon comes to kneel upon the cushion, that Codex of hers resting upon her lap, as usual! Sienna eyes look to Valero, and a few motes of surprise are had as the other reveals that his dreams were invaded by the Witches! Such has her very quiet as the old, sickly Priest's warning rings in her ears.
  122.
  123. Still, nothing is said in response, opting instead to listen, hands folding together atop her Codex.
  124.
  125. A small nod finds the other's information about his connection with Geist. That priest had a connection to the same star, and reported visions, though they weren't as lucid. Her gaze studies the form of the Radiant quietly and with the softest touch of scrutiny, despite her cool, calm presence!
  126. (Yiel)
  127. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  128.
  129. [18:06] Coming in to the Radiant's abode the Exarch would wear a slight eyebrow raised towards a few of the things going on.
  130.
  131. He still felt the shared dreams that were being disrupted by witches were an interesting development however there wasn't much that he could do regarding it except hear those afflicted out as he'd never experienced it himself.
  132.
  133. "I see.... Anythin' o' note...?
  134.
  135. I've heard o' their visits frequently, but I still don't know much o' what they're like myself. Usually they torment with hexes, o' tales to prey upon your weaknesses. Though things seem a bit odd lately.. way too quiet in different regards."
  136.
  137. Crossing his arms now as he took a seat on one of the cushions, the Exarch would look to be in a state of deepened contemplation here, though further than that he wasn't wearing much other than an aura of sheer intrigue.. Though there wasn't any doubt in his mind that Valero would've prevailed should he had been attacked.
  138. (Robin lux Queen)
  139. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  140.
  141. [18:07] Sina's attention absorbed every word the Radiant relayed. It was not enough for her to personally work off of, but she too had been subject to the distorted world of dreams that the witches conjured.
  142.
  143. Patiently, she awaited for him to continue.
  144. (Sina)
  145. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  146.
  147. [18:15] The other two were receptive so far to what he had to say and it did not come with a torrent of questions he had expected. Just the one, but that one demanded quite the answer.
  148.
  149. "Robin, they were stealing from the Celestial River." That magnificent flowing stream of embers great and small that they borrowed from had been outright taken. The audacity of it surpassed formalities, his familiarity with the Exarch slipping through.
  150.
  151. "When I asked her if she knew the depth of her actions the dancer-witch knew precisely what it was. Raw glory, honor, and.. Goodness, just rent away and twisted for her vile purpose."
  152.
  153. Valero's usually kind face was twisted in clear disgust, "She is the first champion of The Black Star, I know it in my bones. Incandescene knows it as well."
  154.
  155. Some of his fervors fades as Sina and Yiel's presence returns and his dark eyes flick to each, visage turning sheepish as he realizes how out of depth they must feel yet his expression is inviting to inquiry.
  156.
  157. "There is much that we have kept silent, Deacon. Sina. I am.." Hesitation came to speak the words. He glances over to Robin as though he might offer some credence.
  158.
  159. "We are.. Privy to a great deal of information that needs to reach the public eventually." Still it did not feel right to reveal himself as Geist's prophet, not yet.
  160.
  161. Too many shadows lingered and allegiances were uncertain, but the Exarch might feel differently.
  162. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  163. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  164.
  165. [18:24] The teenager's a little out of her element. She resolved not to do what many of the now-reclusive Clergy of the city had done and bury themselves in the lore of eld for answers. Seeking information on the Witch Trials and looking to the stars above for guidance. Yiel is more based on the present. Working to help the people now, to bring the Faith to as many as she can.
  166.
  167. Though, after the other speaks, she asks her own small question;
  168.
  169. "Was that Witch the one called 'Jingle'?"
  170.
  171. An honest question, told with an air of reserved thoughtfulness. Her knowledge on Moonfall is minimal, though she does have some. The notion of keeping much silent has ponder over such for a while, before she asks a second question;
  172.
  173. "Do many Knights experience this contact with the Witches?"
  174.
  175. Sienna eyes are a touch cooler, and her soft words are told with certain sincerity. Looking for her own answers.
  176. (Yiel)
  177. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  178.
  179. [18:25] Dancer witch. On Sina's many excursions around the continent, in and out of Osrona and Moonfall included, that description fit but one woman whom she had only seen for single instance.
  180.
  181. To defile the energies granted by the stars was an egregious sin, and yet... Was Sina any different? She had been raised to be a murderer, a label that has since been torn away and no longer applicable. Clashing thoughts swirled in her head and leaked into a knitting of her brows.
  182.
  183. She was not one to reveal information to either side for the sake of neutrality, a position that drew out the faintest traces of guilt.
  184.
  185. Silver irises fixed on Valero rather glumly as she maintained her silence.
  186. (Sina)
  187. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  188.
  189. [18:28] Aria Mutters as she takes a seat.
  190. (Aria cos Montclaire)
  191. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  192.
  193. [18:28] Aria cos Montclaire whispers something.
  194. [18:28] There's a level of disbelief metered towards Valero as the man says this..
  195.
  196. He'd take a more silent approach as his genuine upbeat atmosphere plummets from being a serious tone, to a rather dire one as his mind travels back to how Jingle was able to defeat him, and said some things reminiscent to the theory the Radiant proposed.
  197.
  198. "Black... Star.
  199.
  200. I.. think there's already a champion o' it in Eudocia. The leader o' moonfall. The way her cosmos felt.. it crippled, an' blacked out the blessin's o' the stars to me. Each step in her corrupted land was a mile in Helheim with no sun, o' cosmos in my reach..
  201.
  202. An' no. the dancer isn't Jingle. The dancer's name is Ororo." he'd look to Yiel some for his aid in her identification, but his attention was now hindered by the gaudy prospect of witches forcibly ripping from the realm beyond and forcing the astral to do their bidding..
  203.
  204. A sort of hex on the stars, rather than the people beneath them.
  205.
  206. His face would reveal a deepened sense of pain at such a thing, as Robin began to rub at his temple and think about how one would remedy such an action if it came to pass.
  207.
  208. "There needs to be much more work done on behalf o' openin' up those to the White Star... an' further towards the blessin' tha' we produce by bein' tied as paragons holdin' the burnin' light within our palms."
  209. (Robin lux Queen)
  210. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  211.
  212. [18:36] No doubt it was a great deal to learn of an so unprepared at that. None of them had been prepared, but when the time came they found themselves at the ready none the less.
  213.
  214. He nodded as Robin answered, "Not Jingle, but I do not know of the Ororos. If they are the dark-skinned dancer then I can think of few others who would fit such a description."
  215.
  216. She was quite distinct, but he had marred the beauty she was so proud of.
  217.
  218. "As far as I know not many experience these attacks, but we could not really know. Without Geist to alert me and the peculiar nature of my own dreams I suspect I would not have known until they revealed themselves."
  219.
  220. He pauses for a moment as his wife enters, expression brightening. The vehemence that had welled up while discussing the shadow-dancer was deflated as though a plug had been unstopped.
  221.
  222. With a faint smile and nods he waits for her to settle in beside him before continuing, "..Which is why I believe it best that The Faith be aware of what we know, Deacon. We now know what aides the powers that be and what hurts them."
  223.
  224. The Radiant's dark gaze shifts to Exarch Queen, "We are the proof of our claims."
  225. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  226. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  227.
  228. [18:47] The teenager definitely looks uncomfortable with the information presented to her. As she listens, she looks to the table quietly, eyes a bit distant as she absorbs the information. As always, she does not speak until everyone has spoken, listening quietly, though she's definitely not as upbeat as she usually is.
  229.
  230. The old Priest told her not to trust the Order. Not fully. The concept of nightly visitations and Witch-hexes helps lend credence to the idea he put forth of the Order allowing one of the leading Witches to escape years ago, as the Moonfall situation started to occur.
  231.
  232. "I've never heard of the Black Star. Or the White Star... Could you tell me more about them? And about what aides and hurts them, if you can... Many of the Clergy look to the lore of eight hundred years ago - the Witch Trials of eld. This new information might help, but you should bring it before the Stelli."
  233.
  234. The blonde's a bit hesitant, looking from one Knight to the other. This feels like a problem that's far, far too grave and dire for a still-learning scholar and speaker like herself to deal with properly. Though, she can understand a touch of the old Priest's burden, now, and more information comes to her...
  235. (Yiel)
  236. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  237.
  238. [18:56] Leaning over to pat her husband's knee, the woman blinks-- Only to gasp loudly.
  239.
  240. "Oh shoot..! I forgot birdseed...!"
  241.
  242. With that, Aria stood up and ran off once more.
  243. (Aria cos Montclaire)
  244. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  245.
  246. [19:07] The Exarch would have his hues falling on to Yiel some as she asked about the White Star.
  247.
  248. He didn't know much for the Black, as it was news to him as well, though it certainly made a great deal of sense.
  249.
  250. Tapping his chin lightly as he thought of what to say on it, he'd simply give his own understanding over it.
  251.
  252. "The White Star is simply a conglomerate.. a conversation o' stars an' constellations from all around. Think o' a meetin' between the head o' an organization.
  253.
  254. Leonaus an' adjacents within the Faith an' even beyond it are called upon to join in to a single an' pure shine tha' watches over Esshar, an' then some." He would hope that much would suffice, however there was much more to dissect here.. but probably a bit he'd need to speak with the Radiant himself on.
  255.
  256. Shifting on the cushion there would be a sigh escaping the man's lips though the idea of alerting the clergy to this would probably breed something exquisite in the end by the way of support and more to tell of the Geist.
  257. (Robin lux Queen)
  258. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  259.
  260. [19:13] Robin's explanation of the The White Star was simply put, but well done in its straightforwardness. "Precisely, that leadership is forming within the Leonaus constellation. A new star embodying the purity of the constellation's will."
  261.
  262. The Radiant's gaze turned to Yiel and he offered a faint nod, "I understand how this must seem, overwhelming as it all is. Surely you hold rightful skepticism as any keen mind would." His words were earnest because he truly did know what it was to feel out of one's depth.
  263.
  264. "Yet, you appeared in the moment before I come to steal Ser Queen away, a member of The Faith. Just prior I had spoken of expanding who hears our message."
  265.
  266. His head turned side-to-side gently, raven hair moving with the motions, "I do not believe in coincidences. There is purpose and meaning in these things. The stars light the way, but they do not push our step."
  267.
  268. Valero dipped his chin at the young woman, "Perhaps you are at least the envoy to the inner cloister that we need for these words to be heard by the Stelli." Yet in his experience people drawn in such a way did not play such minor roles and his disbelief in that seeped into his words.
  269.
  270. "That Celestial River we spoke of is the lifeblood of the White Star and it is under attack. As secluded as the clergy can be we were left little other recourse." Then she appeared.
  271. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  272. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  273.
  274. [19:26] Sina was abound with an eerie quietude. Several concepts and ideas were roused in her mind as everyone spoke.
  275.
  276. This talk of vile heathens defiling that which is good in the highest degree warranted a subconscious tilt in her head. Few in Moonfall, to Sina's knowledge, were disdainfully abhorrent. It was a select bunch that was responsible for running amok.
  277.
  278. Perhaps there was something she could do.
  279. (Sina)
  280. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  281.
  282. [19:31] Sina asks, "... And... In what manner did you have in mind as far as retaliation is concerned? A crusade?"
  283. [19:32] Valero lux Montclaire says, "..You presume much of me, Sina."
  284. [19:32] Valero lux Montclaire says, "I know the name and face of our enemy now. I am particular about my targets."
  285. [19:33] The conservatively-dressed, quiet Deacon listens as the two fill her in. This White Star is a bit worrisome. Why should it make its appearance now? Has this ever happened in the lore of eld? All she knows is Nile Pelleaux's understanding of the yellow, red, and blue stars. Thinking she could be of help has instead had her turn to be embroiled with a lot of information about the cosmos that she was not aware of.
  286.
  287. A Celestial River and opposing stars. Then there's the member of a burden of destiny referenced in relation to herself. It's true that fate does exist, Yiel knows that much, but she hasn't been as rigid of a determinist as many others are. Still, the coincidence is notable. In her lap, she presses her palms together, idly running her left hand over the mark of Yiel that she redraws every morning.
  288.
  289. Once the other speaks about the Clergy, the sienna-eyed thing gives a small nod. This is important, but her response doesn't come until after the other's speak.
  290.
  291. "Due to how grave this is, with the Witches somehow able to and actively trying to damage the stars themselves, shouldn't the Order contact Her Highness - who should bring a Lightbringer to end the threat of the Witches once and for all? It's just one village, is it not...?"
  292.
  293. Still, Yiel isn't callous, herself. She sees the Witches as tyrants, and she does know that not all within a place would be wicked. It was Jingle, according to what she heard, that sacrificed most of Moonfall's people to empower herself. Still, if this was the danger posed by them eight hundred years ago, then one can understand why such a violent response was taken to root them out.
  294.
  295. "The highest of Clergy of busy with affairs around the realm I believe. Many of the magi amid the local Clergy have had problems associated with the Witches occur that had lead to their deaths or disappearances.. I know of a few names - Osiric, Jasper, Emily. I am the only one who seeks to tend to the people, currently. I'll try to speak to the higher Clergy, but this is far above what I am able to handle. I don't even know where to start..."
  296. (Yiel)
  297. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  298.
  299. [19:43] There was a slight glance given to the girl as she looked a bit overwhelmed with the information she'd received however he didn't think it'd take her too long to process.
  300.
  301. Offering her a slight nod he'd hope that she could be clued in better by the Radiant as Robin subtly listened along and input a bit more sparsely for the sake of understanding his own place in the entire event of things heating up and boiling over.
  302.
  303. "It'll come to ya in time. Though ya might need to meditate on it some. There's nothin' wrong with takin' a moment for yourself."
  304. (Robin lux Queen)
  305. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  306.
  307. [19:54] The assertions of crusading were quickly dismissed as he did not appreciate the lack of context their retaliation had been painted in. "The issue is that this goes beyond the Witches of Moonfall. Even if Ororos were to perish with the rise of a Black Star others will follow."
  308.
  309. Valero dips his head toward Robin, "As Ororos I was the first selected, but should I perish that light will not fade with me. Neither shall Ororo's shadows." The words brought a furrow to his brow, but there was more reason than that to withhold and ponder their approach now that the enemy was identified.
  310.
  311. Their tenets were clear. Compassion shall be given without weakness.
  312.
  313. "We did not start this war with Moonfall." The mention of Jasper among the dead spurred the response, "My son, Jasper, was slain by them while delivering a message of peace and cooperation with the village."
  314.
  315. His gaze shifts upon each in turn as he gauges them for a moment, "..Still we took the route which allowed us to preserve what life we could. We should approach this the same way."
  316.
  317. "We should not hasten our response. The manner in which we conduct ourselves is more important than destroying them lest we find ourselves twisted as well."
  318. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  319. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  320.
  321. [20:21] The maiden wouldn't mind a crusade, though. Many a night, she had been harassed by the more vile individuals of Moonfall whilst meditating on the ruined tower, ones who are absolutely deserving of being blotted out from this world.
  322.
  323. Finally, she broke her stillness.
  324.
  325. "From what I have gathered in your statements, do you wish to... Extend mercy towards them within the scope of your capabilities? Or merely maintain prudence? I am uncertain of what exactly you are positing, so forgive my loose interpretation. The absolute pinnacle of Moonfall's hierarchy is riddled with a taint that cannot be washed away, but the common resident..."
  326.
  327. To let on that she had convened among them for a short time was quite the implication, and perhaps not the greatest item of information to relay if she wanted to uphold impartiality. Against her inner desires, she pushed the words out.
  328.
  329. "I have befriended a small following of Moonfallen. It would seem their loyalties towards the occult are nonpartisan, and I do believe they could be... Converted?"
  330.
  331. Her voice fell into a sullen timbre as she slipped away into her own thoughts, still partly verbal.
  332.
  333. "Of course, that could pave the way for spies and a newly founded well of fuel for the Black Star itself."
  334.
  335. "However..."
  336.
  337. Sina trailed away in silence. Whether or not she had actually contributed anything meaningful was up in the air for the young woman. Her silvery gaze fixed on Robin's knee as a support for her profound thought.
  338. (Sina)
  339. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  340.
  341. [20:34] To the words that Sina brought from her lips, the Exarch couldn't help but feel like he'd heard a few glimmers of her own light shining through despite the more.. troublesome overtones of what she'd revealed.
  342.
  343. Her collusion with the moonfallers may have evoked negativity amongst the more radical in the Order but Robin would spawn a smaller smile after absorbing the talking from all present and placing his hand onto the white haired woman's shoulder offering her the full brunt of his gaze.
  344.
  345. She wasn't alone here.
  346.
  347. "It's my belief tha' all can be redeemed, so long as they don't snuff out all o' their lights an' ties to the path o' growin' positively.
  348.
  349. I don't even fully think occultists are irredeemable, it's when people relish, relinquish an' become the very nightmares tha' plague them tha' they become monsters rather than people.
  350.
  351. If you think there's actual hope for a few then I'd certainly believe ya Sina, because despite Osrona's influences you seem to wish to hear out, an' understand people all throughout Esshar, an' I can only commend tha'.
  352.
  353. It's brilliant an' incandescent. As any beacon o' light should be."
  354.
  355. Giving her some time to think on it, with his aid, and the soft nudging that she wouldn't be judged for her want to help people outside his duty's bounds, the truest and most consistent part of the Shining Exarch would come forth.
  356.
  357. Something he didn't wish to lose even amidst the toughest times, or harshest facets of his jobs.
  358.
  359. His heart.
  360. (Robin lux Queen)
  361. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  362.
  363. [20:44] As always, the Deacon is quiet, just listening to the other's speak and taking in their words. The news of Jasper being his son starts to give her a more full picture of what happened there. The old Priest told her that he was killed and replaced.
  364.
  365. Scary stuff, that. The teenager tries to put that out of her mind, as horror isn't something she wants on her mind now.
  366.
  367. The compassion talked about is understandable. And as they talk about redemption, the blonde awaits a quiet lull - responding simply;
  368.
  369. "I was part of an Occultist being helped. Exorcised. They can be redeemed, with care and compassion."
  370.
  371. Simple words, but they do speak to her character. Despite her fear for what those of Moonfall are doing, she does care.
  372. (Yiel)
  373. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  374.
  375. [20:51] Much of his intentions had already been illuminated in the following discussion, "I say we wait so that we can see our options, so prudence." The Radiant's head dipped towards the youthful Deacon.
  376.
  377. "The greatest thing we can do is give our life in protection of these forces and to part the shadows around another and return them to the fold." Therein lie the restraint and compassion they demanded.
  378.
  379. "..So I believe trying to convert them to our side is best. If what you say is true then we are not without potential allies and if it means exposing ourselves to danger.. So be it."
  380.
  381. The answer was decisive, his sharp features tight. "We have already accepted the dangers that would come from sharing what seems like deranged prophecy." His shoulders rise and fall in a shrug, "That some good might come of it means it should be pursued."
  382.
  383. Valero was the last to sit, but now he was the first to rise signaling for his guests departure, "My home is open to all of you that we might discuss this further on how to move forward."
  384.
  385. Chestnut hues settled on Sina, "You have my blessing to try to gather and prepare these decent folks yet left within Moonfall." Then they shift to Yiel, "..And we are acquiring more resources with which to cleanse the taint that lies within others."
  386.
  387. Overall it had been productive no matter the questions and doubts that might yet linger.
  388. (Valero lux Montclaire)
  389. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  390.
  391. [20:52] Yiel says, "If I see Lady Erika, I might be able to ask if she can teach me how to do it... Cleanse people, that is..."
  392. [20:55] Valero lux Montclaire says, "Lady Erika would likely be flattered at the request, I think."
  393. [20:55] Robin lux Queen says, "Aye... Tha'd be a Hel o' a thing to pick up."
  394. [20:57] Yiel says, "When I next see her, then. Thank you for meeting with me - Leonaus bless you all. If you ever need to talk, I'm close-by, as well."
  395. [20:57] Sina says, "A pleasure meeting you two."
  396. [20:57] Valero lux Montclaire says, "Of course, Deacon Yiel. My thanks for meeting with us today."
  397. [20:58] Robin lux Queen says, "It's always a pleasure darlin'."
  398. [20:58] Yiel gives a respectful curtsy towards the others, before heading away towards the Church! Likely to meditate on this information...
  399. (Yiel)
