Penny and Volcanion

Penny Gadget, Volcanion, and Captain Ginyu

Penny Gadget and Generator Rex are taking it easy following the big fighting tournament. They are already planning to have another one next year. Rex and Penny helped Chief Gadget repair the damages the tournament caused to Metro City. Now they are waiting for the next exciting thing to come along. Chief Gadget returns home in a frenzy and tells Penny that some kind of monster is running rampart just outside the city. Penny wastes no time in rushing off to check out the situation.


Penny quickly spots the monster. It is red, stands on four legs, and is spouting steam from its cannon-like arms. "It's a Volcanion", Penny exclaims. Fortunately, Penny has the Pikachu that belonged to her late friend Ash, which has been hanging out at Penny's house ever since Ash died. "Use Thunderbolt", Penny commands. Pikachu hits Volcanion with a Thunderbolt. Volcanion retaliates with Steam Eruption, which sends Pikachu flying. Penny manages to catch Pikachu in her arms. Penny has Pikachu hit Volcanion with another Thunderbolt, then Penny tosses a Poke Ball at Volcanion. The Poke Ball bounces off Volcanion, opens up, and absorbs Volcanion. It closes, drops to the ground, shakes three times, then stops and makes a dinging sound. "I caught  Volcanion", Penny exclaims. Unbeknownst to her, Deadpool is nearby watching her. He still has the Greninja he stole from Ash.

As Penny returns home, a meteor shoots down out of the sky and hits the Metro City jail. Penny rushes to the crash site. Her uncle is already there. Penny and her uncle watch has a mysterious purple figure emerges from the meteorite. Then, they see Dr. Claw fleeing from the wreckage of the jail. Forgetting about whatever just emerged from the meteorite, Penny and Chief Gadget chase after Dr. Claw.

Deadpool arrives in Metro City and immediately encounters the alien entity that emerged from the meteorite. "What the heck are you supposed to be?", Deadpool asks the creature. "I am Captain Ginyu, terror of the universe", the creature replies. "What makes you so terrifying?", Deadpool asks. "This", Ginyu replies. Ginyu releases a burst of energy from his mouth, which its Deadpool. Deadpool blanks out for a few seconds. When he comes to, he is shocked to see himself standing in front of him. "You like it?" Ginyu asks, only his voice is coming out for Deadpool's body. "What did you do?", Deadpool asks. His voice is coming out of Ginyu's body. "I switched bodies with you" Ginyu responds. "Give me back my body you jerk", Deadpool yells. Ginyu (in Deadpool's body) flees, and Deadpool (in Ginyu's body) chases after him.

Penny and her uncle follow Dr. Claw to a MAD base. Everyone is surprised to find Deadpool already there, along with the purple creature that emerged from the meteor. Deadpool is wrestling with the creature for some reason. Gadget, Penny, and Dr. Claw overhear the two of them yelling at each other, but Deadpool's voice is coming out of the creature's body. "Give me back my body", they hear Deadpool yell. There's flash of light and then Deadpool's voice is coming out of his body once again. "Thank you", Deadpool comments. Deadpool flees, leaving Ginyu behind.

Penny approaches the creature. "Who or what are you?", she asks. "I am Captain Ginyu, terror of the universe", the creature responds. Ginyu opens his mouth and fires a burst of energy at Penny. There's a bright flash of light. Chief Gadget is thrown backwards. When he recovers, Penny asks, "Are you all right, uncle Gadget?". However, her voice comes out of Ginyu's body. "I swapped our bodies", Ginyu reveals, his voice coming out of Penny's body. "Return my niece's body to her right now", Gadget demands. "fine by me", Ginyu remarks, "I was just demonstrating my power. I don't want this puny little girl's body anyway". There's another bright flash of light, and Penny and Ginyu are back in their own bodies. "I'm not puny" Penny yells at Ginyu. Then, she lashes out at Ginyu. Penny tosses a Poke Ball up in midair and her newly-caught Volcanion emerges from it. "Use Steam Eruption on "Purple People Eater" over there", Penny orders. Volcanion blasts Ginyu with a burst of steam, sending him flying.

Unbeknownst to Penny and her uncle, Dr. Claw was watching the whole body-swapping thing from inside his MAD base. "If I could swap bodies with Gadget, I'd be unstoppable", Dr. Claw realizes. Dr. Claw activates his supercomputer and scans Ginyu right before Volcanion blasts him. "Now to get to work on a device that I can use to swap bodies with Gadget", Dr. Claw remarks to himself. Dr. Claw gets to work right away and a few hours later, his body-swapping device is complete. "Now I just need to lure Gadget here" Dr. Claw declares, laughing diabolically.

"Are you gonna leave me here alone and go on a Pokemon Journey?", Gadget asks Penny. "No, I only caught Volcanion because it was rampaging around", Penny responds, "This city needs me too much for me to leave and go on a Pokemon Journey". With that settled, Gadget and Penny head into the MAD base to confront Dr. Claw. Dr. Claw is waiting for them with some kind of giant laser. "Meet my body-swap ray. It does what I saw your "friend" doing outside: swaps the bodies of any two people it zaps", Dr. Claw explains. "Ginyu is NOT our friend", Penny responds. Dr. claw fires the body-swap ray, and it fires two blasts. One hits Dr. Claw himself, and the other heads towards Gadget.

The second blast hits Gadget and a bright blast of light fills the room. When the light disappears, Dr. Claw's voice comes out of gadget's body. "Now that I have Gadget's gadgets, no one can stop me", Dr. Claw declares. "Give me back my body this instant", Gadget demands, his voice coming out of Dr. Claw's body. Penny whips out her computer book. "If I can hack the body-swap ray's controls, I can return Uncle gadget to hid own body and stop Dr. Claw", Penny comments to herself. Penny begins pressing buttons in her computer book. She accidentally sets the body-swap ray off, zapping herself and Volcanion. Finding herself in Volcanion's body, Penny uses Steam Eruption on Dr. Claw (in Gadget's Body). "Take it easy. That's my body you're blasting", Gadget yells at her. Volcanion (in Penny's body) manages to activate the body-swap ray and swap back with Penny. Now back in her own body, Penny fires the body-swap ray at Dr. Claw and her uncle, swapping them back.

Suddenly, Deadpool and Ginyu come busting in through the wall. "We've decided to team up", Deadpool informs everyone, "Ginyu promised not to steal my body again if I help him get revenge on Penny". Deadpool sends out Greninja and has it transform into Deadpool-Greninja. Penny orders Volcanion to use Steam Eruption on Deadpool-Greninja. Deadpool-Greninja dodges the attack, jumping through the air. Ginyu notices the body-swap ray and confronts Dr. Claw about it. "I don't appreciate you copying my powers", Ginyu yells at Dr. Claw. Ginyu gives off a burst of light and swaps bodies with Dr. Claw. Dr. Claw (in Ginyu's body) attempts to use his body-swap ray to swap back with Ginyu, but Penny still has control of it. Penny uses the body-swap ray to swap bodies with Deadpool, attempting to gain control of Greninja. Deadpool (in Penny's body), quickly switches back with Penny. Penny, now back in her own body, declares, "We have to defeat Greninja in order to get it back from Deadpool. Are you ready, Volcanion?". Suddenly, a bright aura surrounds Penny and Volcanion. When it clears, Volcanion has transformed to resemble Penny. It's back half is now green and its arms/cannons are bright yellow. It has a gigantic gear made of energy attacked to its back. Penny orders "Penny-Volcanion" to use Steam Eruption on Deadpool-Greninja. This time, the move hits its target. Deadpool-Greninja is knocked out and returns to its original appearance. Before Penny can retrieve it, Deadpool grabs Greninja and flees.

Dr. Claw, still in Ginyu's body, attempts to grab the computer book from Penny. Penny fires the Body-Swap ray and puts Dr. Claw and Ginyu back in their own bodies. She then orders Penny-Volcanion to destroy the Body-Swap ray with Steam Eruption. The ensuing blast destroys the body-swap ray, and also hits Captian Ginyu, sending him flying into the distance.

Volcanion reverts to its normal appearance, and Gadget slaps handcuffs on Dr. Claw. "You're going back to jail", Gadget declares. Gadget and Penny escort Dr. Claw to the Metro City Jail, and then head home. They arrive to find Rex still asleep on the couch. As they enter the living room, Rex wakes up and sees Gadget, Penny, and Volcanion standing nearby. "I overslept", rex remarks, "Son what did I miss?".
