A thing with fairies

I had an idea that fairies live in colonies (with small treetop villages)- and naturally a very, very fat (immobile) queen- so heavy (despite being only 3 inches tall!) that the colony struggles to get a sturdy enough treehouse for her (collapses are common)
Like bees, the fairies gather ingredients, which they turn into beneficial potions, which they trade for human food (which is portions bigger than they are!)
