- {NARRATION} A wonderful adventure is getting ready in the placement of the groups consiting of the Golden Volumious, The Eternal Flame, and the Invited. The group were on their own journey to assist Kyo in this manner to retrieve eggs held by the infamous bandit group! The group has a bit of time until they reach the outskirts of the bandit's hideout, but as they enter further into the old Frostvale grounds, the weather begins to pick up. A severe storm is in the mist and as such, the snow began to fall peacfully at first. Though after a long journey, the snow turned into a mindful blizzard blocking far view as our travelers proceeded forward. Upon their arrival, the group of 10 began to see something in the distance, which can only be foretold as the base of operations. The group could also see two ways forward: A path leading down and a path leading forward. They could take either path, but the path going down looks to enter a cave. Maybe into a bunker of some sort. Though the path in front of them seemed to venture upwards if they looked at it curves. Maybe higher ground? It as only up to them how they procced.
- [11:10:56] Maria would look to Kyo as the expedition came to a fork. "Well, you're the lead. What way do you think we should go?" Maria would ask, the Firekeeper's guess as good as anyone's. "The weather's getting worse, so we need to push ahead while we can."
- (Maria Shateiel)
- [11:12:38] Cold.
- Thom didn't honestly expect it to be this cold. The youth had gone with the combined forces to the far north where Frostvale used to be. The boy would have worn extra clothing, but that didn't keep him warm enough and so the flames generated by him would also assist this purpose.
- About him, fluttering would be a small bluish orblike creature, but it remained quiet mostly just fluttering as There would be a fork in the road, or at least a division. Thom glanced towards Maria and Kyo, staying quiet and awaiting for one to make a descion on the route forwards.
- (Thom)
- [11:14:20] Walking through the rugged land with her companions was an easy task for Marina, even when the weather picked up and basically turned into a blizzard. Luckily for her she'd spent most of her life in Dragons' Peak with Aciel, she'd trained her body how to adapt to the brutal conditions of the place formally known as Frostvale. She only recognized a few of the people she traveled with, she knew their individual organizations though. It was nice to see different groups able to come together for a common cause.
- Finally, the intrepid group comes across what appears to be the base of operations. They stop in their tracks surveying the land to see which way to go. Up or down? Marina shrugs, "I say we go down, their most likely keeping the eggs underground, but that also means it will be more guarded" she says speaking her opinion but turning to Marina so that the leader of her group would know she'd follow with whatever was decided by people who knew what they were doing in leadership terms.
- (Marina Avner)
- [11:15:12] The time had come for Rust to make the journey to Dragon Peak with Kyo and the others that he'd invited. Among the group Rust could pick out a few familiar faces. He could recognize Lyse, Kuro, Thom and Leila. Rust was unaware that Kyo knew so many of the people that Rust had also known.
- Soon enough the group would start running into rough weather. Rust had read about the cold weather that plagued Dragon Peak and experiencing it in person only serve to prove the books he had read right. Coming at a crossroad the group would run into two possible paths.
- It wasn't his adventure to Rust was unsure as to weather he had any say in where the group would go. Deciding to let the more experience chart a course the boy would stay silent and let someone else pick the path.
- (Rust)
- [11:16:54] Leila would follow the group, making sure to keep a few of her guild members in her sight. She was glad she had bought her hoodie while in Nostvale, but it felt like it would only get colder, the soup she had at her side would keep her warm
- The young pup would would bump into one of her guild members as they all stopped to face two paths, she waited to hear where they would go. She would prefer going up as they would still be outside but who knows wha would lie down in the cave, maybe the eggs but that meant limited movement for leila.
- (Leila)
- [11:17:45] Marching behind the gallant group, Kuro was prepared to assist his good friend Kyo in retrieving the Dragon eggs from those scumbags. With his blade unsheathed, he proceeded prudently with his squadron until they reached a choice between two paths.
- "Hold my hand Leila, it's not safe here."
- He grabs her hand, assuring her safety but also making sure she goes wherever he goes. Being the only two Ookami here it was essential that they look out for each other. He looked over at Kyo, awaiting his decision.
- (Kuro)
- [11:17:45] Lucius would follow along behind the rest. Such an outing would be good practice for him, in case his next foray. Otherwise, this wasn't exactly his outing. It was Kyo's. And so, he would simply follow along. Whatever the others decided, he would go along with it. For the most part...
- (Lucius Volusenna)
- [11:18:36] A quest he had received, at the request of Kyo, his former pupil, who had asked him if he could assist in subjugating bandits that were poaching dragons eggs up on former Frostvale, Dragon's Peak. Ah, it has been several years since their training up on the mountains, and he could remember the memories fondly. How Lyse mastered his Ifrit Style and learned to control the illusions of the mind. All alongside Kyo, his faithful and once only pupil.
- Lyse holds the letter in his hand, standing at the foregrounds of the ruined city. Along with a group of many others he had never seen before, alongside a student of his school: Rust.
- And was that...?
- Kuro
- For the sake of keeping the flow consistent, as to not interrupt the dynamics of this party, Lyse resolved to separate private matters from the issue at hand.
- The snow made visibly low, plus the cold made the stay on the mountains a harrowing experience. How he missed this bitter cold. Lyse kept his cape wrapped around him, heating himself up with his innate mana as to not freeze to death.
- "Yeap. Kyo, it's up t'you. " he stood beside the drakanite, clasping a hand over his shoulder. Frankly it was nice to see his boy grow up so well, and to be surrounded by reliable looking teammates. He nodded - a gesture that would mean he'd follow his every orders this time around.
- "Y'get to boss me 'round, yeah? Haha."
- (Lyse Evander)
- [11:18:36] With her cane in hand, the blunette remained calmly approaching Maria's side and nodding towards her, a situation that didn't demand her pressence, one that she could have stayed out of, especially with her newest delegation.
- Calmly Liara would look back towards the front. "Yes, indeed. What's the plan here." The simple statement came as she'd rest a hand at the handle of her cane. Warmly taking ab reath she'd gladly be prepared for the matter, the situation at play here. It was to save the infantile dragons from poachers. That's what the plan was, was it not?
- The clatter of her battle can softly echoed nearby, prepared for the combat, Largely she was ready, lightning danced across her palm, no opportunity really to practice the lightning as it was, still a novice.
- (Liara Myr)
- [11:20:19] Home
- Ooh how Kyo missed this place. It's been a set of years since he's been at Dragon's Peak. The chilly embrace of the wind welcomes him as him and his group enter the chilling domain of Dragon's Peak.
- The only thing about this trip was that it wasn't for sight seeing. No. It was for vegence. The likes of some kind of group. Taking dragons for their liking. To do unthinkable things to them? Not happening. They'd best surrender and die before Kyo takes his march inside and handles them with his own two hands. Best yet. They better commit suicide. Because for the unspeakable to happen. For humans to commit the unthinkable and go as far to steal dragons...
- It was time for a cruel awakening.
- "Hey Old man" he said reffering to Lyse. "I think it's best that we start from the low road and work our way up top. I think that would be the best way to go. So we don't miss a thing." he explained as he took a step forward through the stormy day.
- Hearing Lyse's response. Kyo nodded and then looked towards his group as he announced. "We're going to take the low road. Stay together, I don't want to lose anyone during this expedition. We don't know whats in there so it's best to be quiet."
- "With that being said. Let's go.." with that. Kyo led the march towards the low path. Aiming to kill each of this bastards who dared to take dragons for their own liking.
- (Kyo Kamikaze)
- {NARRATION} Going down! As they chose their path, the winds above and behind began to enrage themselves blowing stronger and faster as if the world was keeping the outside busy for the group to move forward. As the continued down, the road lead to a dark cave. The cave seemed to be encased in stone and rubble. The group's efforts were getting more and more realistic as the cave held something they didn't expect to see so soon. Dragon Eggs! Or so they thought. The dark cave concealed the eggs pretty well, though if they were to touch one of them, they were would tip over. It revealed that the eggs have already hatched and nothing was left other then shells of the new born dragons apart of the trade. In front of all the dozens of eggs laid a large door. The door itself stood around 8 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Surely big enough to move a few eggs through weither an eggling, or just born. The group can choose how they want to go about this. Though failure will come at a cost.
- [11:50:11]
- Leila would take small steps towards the door, never did the pup feel so intimidated by a large door. She l carefully sniffed at the door, hoping that itself wouldn't pop out and crush the tiny pup.
- Slowly Leila focused her energy to summon plants, poisonus plants, roots would spread through the walls of the cave. Toxic plants can be seen quickly growing, facing towards the door, leila would ask for the plants to release their poisons at the wooden door itself, in an attempt to rot it out of existence. POOSH! Fire away!
- (Leila)
- {NARRATION} Roll 3: Leila, as her attempts at the door were smart and simple, the door wasn't affected by the poison and infact, the door was immune to the plants toxic posion. When the gas cleared, the door began to light up with blue runes. The rune grew brighter and brighter until they gave out a small shock the small Ookami sending her back a few feet onto the ground. The was still there, as the runes died out and the door went back to its original state, waiting for another attempt. (Leila Please roll for your small nerf ) 1: Melee 2: Vitality 3: Critical 4: Dodge 5: Magic Damage 6: Magic Capacity
- [11:59:34] Leila had done her own thing, and Liara watched the door, admiring it and respecting the effort, figuring if it didn't work out, it was worth the shot, after all poison's known for its corrosive qualities, right? Even still, the blunette awaited, incase she had to help Leila if something went wrong.
- Even still, the forward efforts of the little pup were something Liara could admire, genuinely trying to make progress, to open their way. It was something Liara was attentive to, incase the child needed any amount of assistance.
- She peered over towards the matter. Finding it to be that the poor Ookami was given a mild shock Wincing her way the poor child, It wasn't an attempt at the door, as LIara would pull Leila back from the door, to see to it she wouldn't get the brunt of the next failure to come.
- (Liara Myr)
- [12:08:06] Noticing that Leila had a particularly bad experience with using plants on the door Rust would determine that whatever plan he used would have to leave out nature entirely lest he end up in the same place as his Ookami friend. Instead Rust would try for a more subtle approach.
- His years as a thief gave him a basic knowledge of lockpicking so he decided that he'd try a hand at that. Luckily he packed a few lockpicks before his journey just in case something like this happened. Taking in a deep breath Rust would pause before deciding to try his hand at picking the lock.
- "Here goes nothing." He'd say out loud before placing in his pick and toying around with it until something happened. Hopefully he wouldn't end up fried on the floor.
- (Rust)
- {NARRATION} (Roll:6) By george! Rust's expert level Locking picking was surely a wonder in the time of need. Though the person who made the door didn't tink someone would be as smart of Rust would be to pick the lock. With that, the door's runes began to die down, turn black, and whisped open the door like it would be in plays. As the door opened, a flight of stairs would lead upwards and forth, though the stairs lead into a pitch black corridor. What should the group do.
- [12:24:19] Towards the back, Thom would have slowed down a little bit when he noticed the giant door. They seemed to be a problem, and the youth would quickly have started to take a bow off his back. Pulling back the string he readied an arrow, preparing just in case something decided to jump out at the group, but it appeared that after Lelia and Rust the door would open with no problem.
- Still, the arrow would be held at the ready to be fired as Thom began to stay near the back of the group, going slowly in case there would be trouble. The blue orb swirled around him, provinding a little bit of illuination as he slightly glanced at the runes on the door, wondering if he should take a lead rub of the runes to look up later, before shaking his head and once more aiming the arrow ahead.
- He would let others take care of the darkness of the hwallway, already preparing for the worse.. Hallways were ominious after all, weren't they?
- (Thom)
- [12:26:01] Wiping the sweat from his brow Rust would breathe a sigh of relief. Luckily he'd managed to open the door without getting blasted to ashes. Looking to where the door led the boy would see a flight of stairs. "I hope the stairs aren't hooked up to any traps too." he'd think to himself as he stood up straight and put his lockpick away.
- Turning to the rest of the group Rust would let them lead the way. After all it wasn't like Rust knew where to find the Dragons anyways. He'd leave that to the Drakanites. He assumed that they'd be better at the task than him anyways.
- "I should do some reading on Drakanites when I get back to Lionhold." the boy would think to himself.
- (Rust)
- [12:26:01] Marina sat patiently by as one person tried to open the door and failed, and then another picked the lock with great ease. She stares down into the darkness wondering what could be down there. Her initial idea that the eggs would be underground had been correct, but they appeared to have already hatched. Where could the fledgling dragons be? And what monstrous things might this group of bandits be doing to them? Marina sighs, there was only one way to find out.
- Marina steps forward lightly but not so much to look like she was trying to take charge. Maria had pretty much given that position to the Kyo boy. So even though Maria was the leader of her guild Marina would listen to the words of Kyo, whatever he decided to do, but that did not mean she would not give her input. "We should go down, but carefully and silently as not to alert whatever is down there of our presence" she says her voice a small whisper as if afraid to wake up a sleeping monster.
- Marina ignites a small flicker of flame on the palm of her hand, enough to cast a few feet of light ahead of them, but small enough that it would be easily noticed by someone who might be at the bottom of the stairs, and also in such a way that she could extinguish it quickly if anything happened. Marina nods her head at Kyo letting him know she was waiting for his decision.
- (Marina Avner)
- [12:27:44]
- Leila would hug and thank Liara for pulling her away from the door, giving her a gentle smile. The young pup would resume to stay close to Kuro as she witnessed the door slowly open. Her ears twitch to pick up a whisper that would tell them to open the dorr, it was truly spine chilling for Leila.
- As the young pup would slip her hand into Kuro's and tightens her grip, her face may not show it but underneath she's terrified of what lies beyond the darkness. Leila had thought that Maria used fire, maybe she could use her fire to light up the way, like a torch. But the young pup couldn't find it in herself to ask Maria to use her fire, her attention was too focused on the hallway, she was preaparing herself for the worse, reminding herself of her purpose.
- (Leila)
- [12:28:35] With Leila secured and away, Rusts attempt could be made without being a danger for the Ookami pup, A gentle pat of the little one's shoulder was made as she'd look towards the ookami puppy.
- Just as many others might, Liara didn't intend to lead much in this, only support and do what she could to ensure people survived, mostly. It was a question of which way to go however, their choice. Liara petting Leila after the hug broke away for but a short moment.
- "Are you alright?" She'd point her gaze downward, as she took Kuro's hand, the little Ookami having her attention, as Liara peered her way, hopefully nothing was hurt too badly on the poor girl.
- (Liara Myr)
- [12:28:35] Kuro hastily rushed towards Leila. He held her in his arms with a worried expression and sad ears. She tried her best to crack that door with her magical affinity but it was of no use. He was kneeling down, assuring Leila didn't have a concussion or anything while the group watched Rust expertly crack the door. He looked down at the Ookami pup, sighing and helping her up.
- "I told you to stick beside me Lei, now get up it's dangerous to stay put for too long. Stick beside me, it's safer."
- Holding the youngling's hand once more, he was like an older brotherly figure to her, keeping her safe from the dreadful evils that lurked around in this region. He trusted Lyse and Kyo the most, following behind the two, holding the Ookami pup close.
- "Guide us safely, we must keep our eyes open for any eerie sightings. I will alert the squadron if I sense anything."
- Having exceptional tracking and sensing prowess, Kuro was a very valuable asset to this mission.
- (Kuro)
- [12:28:35] What a debacle; Firstly, Lyse didn't expect someone of such a small stature to own such immense and deadly looking powers. As he gazed at the door, mulling the possibilities of how to break it down, it was thanks to the Ookami who showed him that force will not be favorable in the opening of this door. Shocked, the drakanite reached out to assist the fallen ally, but ultimately decided to stay in his lane, expecting others to rush to her side.
- For now, his student, Rust, stepped up to the plate with an idea in his hand.
- "That won't -- "
- Almost like magic itself, the young rogue snapped the lock open with his deft lock picking skills. What a pro! (Who taught him that!?)
- Lyse blinked and watched the door swing open. Looks like obstacle number one was done and over with. He wanted to get inside quick; the winds were getting nippy and he wasn't a huge fan of changing elements.
- "Do you think they expect visitors?" he asked no one in particular. "Looks dark, and dangerous. Y'guys mind if I take lead in case there are any traps? Don't want anyone gettin' hurt under my watch."
- (Lyse Evander)
- [12:31:08] Rust
- Smiling. Kyo knew that he made the right choice to bring along Rust.
- As soon as he heard that satisfying click of the lock giving way. Kyo knew that they were in. Quickly he walked up by Rust's side and placed his hand on the teen's shoulder.
- "I knew that I made the right choice in bringing you. But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't keep watching our backs over this small victory. " he said with a weak smile as he looked onward towards the door.
- The bright blue runes that riddled the doors was no joke. "If anyone is a healer. Could you attend Leila if she needs it" he announces as he watches the door finally give way. He didn't want to lose anyone and already someone was already hurt. Kyo watched the doors open to reveal two more paths. One leading upwards and the other going forward. More choices. More decisions. "Leila... If your not feeling good. Stay in the center of the group. That's the safest anyway..."
- "Okay.... I'ma ask the dumb thing and say that since we are an even group. That five people should head upwards, and the other five should head forward?" he suggestioned. But after some time. He doubted his decision. "Noo... that's how people die in horror movies.... " he said quietly as he looked around. " I swear if someone has this on tape...." he muttered before Marina gave her input on what the group should do. Which he did with a nod to agree to what she had said.
- "Yeah... You have the right mind set. Let's go down the corridor and then go up the stair case after we cleared this area out. It would be a poor decision to head up the stair case to only be cornered by both sides. " he agreed
- He then looked at the entire group. "So we go forward or split up. I'll leave this to the group..."
- (Kyo Kamikaze)
- [12:34:33] Maria herself would take point, seeing as only Marina had produced light from amongst the group. Her wings would ignite with radiant light, attempting to clear the hallway of darkness. In her hand, she would produce a brilliant golden flame, keeping it at the ready. Maria was quite the light source it seemed, and it wasn't her first time making her way through the caverns of Dragon's Peak.
- Maria would signal for everyone to stay behind her, and her steps forwards were slow and cautious, testing every inch of ground she took. "Be careful; if you feel the ground give way under your foot, stop moving immediately." She warned, making sure to heed her own advice.
- (Maria Shateiel)
- [12:34:33] Marina Avner: Kyo's right, we don't want to get cornered. That halleway could go anywhere and be narrow.
- [12:34:33] Thom: I have a bow,ill shoot at anything that gets too close from afar.
- {NARRATION} With Maria and the other transpiring into the depths of the caves. Maria uses se holy magic to create light for the others to follow. It was a "Bright" idea for her to accomplish such a task for her friends and allies. Though all would have been for not that if Maria didn't create the light they would have all blindly walked into a hole that seemed to drop into a small abyass with spikes at the bottom of it all. With that, after about a half a mile walk, the group wold see another door infrot of them. The door itself was nothing like the other one. When they got close enough to the door, it would open widely. The light on the other side seemed bright and quiet. The sudden silence other then the words from the group let of an ominous feeling, though with nothing better to accomplish nor anywhere else to go, the group push forward into the door. When the group got inside, the room was rather small, though something caught everyone's eyes. Tools of War! Swords, Spears, wands, and staffs galore! The room they were in was non other then the bandits armory. Their whole arsenal of weapons stocked from trades and sales across the lands, though its shelves were only stocked wit iron weapons and the mundane amount of materials. Nothing spectacular was in the room, aside from a small bag in the corner.
- [13:08:41] An armory? That was interesting. Although Thom moved in the back of the group Thom would have easily glimpsed the treasures that laid within. The boy however, would be a bit more then bothered by the silence and ominious feeling that went through when the entered the room..
- Weapons, not as good as that of a magi's for sure but.. The boy also felt like there was present danger of some sort here. Staying mostly in the doorway he kept the bow and arrow drawn, waiting for something to go wrong, for weapons to fly off hte wall or for someone to touch the small bag in the corner.
- What sort of item could it hold after all?.. And was there a bigger danger present within this room? The grey eyes scanned across the area, curious as to if either of these questions would easily be anwsered.
- "Someone want to go check that bag out?"
- (Thom)
- [13:11:15] After a long walk the group would come upon something that would excite Rust. A whole room filled with weapons. Remembering what Kyo said about him being able to keep whatever he found the young boy would immediately go for the stash of weapons searching around for something he could take with him.
- Preferably something small that could not be noticed if went missing. While he was busy looking through the weapon stash for something that would strike his interest the boy would let his companions do whatever needed to be done. Right now Rust was just taking what could be called his pay for helping Kyo out with this mission.
- "Oh boy I sure hope I find something cool."
- (Rust)
- [13:12:06] Following closely behind Maria, it was half-way through the corridor that it had occurred to him; I can just use my fire to light up the way too...
- Keeping that to himself, Lyse felt it'd be prudent to continue staying in his own lane, as he is mostly a stranger to these people. All he really cared about was keeping Kyo safe. Every so often he'd check back to see if his old student was safe.
- Still, he's quite proud that he's met such fine fellows.
- Lyse smiled to himself.
- --
- Stumbling upon the armory, Lyse took it upon himself to keep out of the way, allowing the others to get through the door and inspect the area. Everything looked rather mundane, plane, or just short of sticking out. He gently rubbed his scabbard as sort of stress-relief -- seeing all these half-baked weapons made him kind of sad.
- "Bag." he echoed. For now, he'd leave that alone, allowing everyone to make their choices while Lyse remained silent for the remainder of the moment.
- (Lyse Evander)
- [13:12:57] Lucius would look around the room. Weapons of all sorts were around. Iron, in make. Not quite as good as Soul Steel he supposed. But certainly something that the camp could use. More supplies in case they should gain an influx of members.
- "The weapons themselves seem unsecured. We can use those. We'll have to remember to take them back to the camp after we've finished here."
- It was then, that Lucius attention would be drawn to a small bag in the room. It seemed... rather out of place. Lucius would mull over the thought of it being trapped. And, in fact it seemed likely. But perhaps if it was, that meant it held something valuable. And surely, that meant someone else here would attempt to look at it. And if it was, that was an unneeded casualty that Lucius could easily mitigate...
- "I'll handle the bag. Stand back though, just in case."
- Lucius would make his way over to the bag. Lowering himself to his knee, he would look it over carefully. Considering his lack of an actual physical presence... He could probably reach in through the side of it, to see if there was anything worth finding without setting off any traps or anything like that...
- (Lucius Volusenna)
- [13:12:57] As Maria ignites holy light with her wings, Marina allows her flame to flicker, feeling rather insignificant. It was good though, because without Maria's light they would not have seen the pit fall, but they did and all avoided, thank Ryujin. Finally, after much walking they come upon another door, but this one opens without much fight. They enter into a small room full of assorted weapons. Marina looks around, her keen senses taking in everything. What was that? A bag in the corner? She shrugs, it was out of place but if the enchanted door had taught her anything it was that out of place things were trapped, best to leave something like that to experts, or those who wouldn't get hurt by the potential consequences.
- Marina slowly but carefully examines the weapons, swords, spears, wands, all made of iron, a rather none rare meta but still useful. None of the weapons were better than the one she currently carried though so she shrugs and turns to Maria, "We'll have to come back after this is all over and garner theses supplies for the legion" she says simply.
- The young Drakanite woman then stands casually back, her part was done, not much else to be done at the moment but stand guard in case something entered the room. Marina stands to the side watching, ever watching.
- (Marina Avner)
- [13:15:31] Bright Idea
- Walking into the depths of the cave. Maria was the one to use her holy magic to light a way for the entire group. Which was a fantastic idea because he couldn't do anything of that sort. His affinity never did include fire for some reason. So he just stuck with his cold heart and went on with ice, water, and wind. Not bothering to transfer over to any other kind of tree of magic.
- He just didn't want to go off into an entire different element. It was just too much for him at this stage of life. So he preffered to stick with what he knew.
- As the group went on. It seemed that a booby trap was waiting for them as a hole appeared out of the ground. Which Kyo instinctively made a pathway over the gap so no one had to risk falling in.
- After about a half of a mile walk. They entered into what seemed to be an armory. "Huh..."
- (Kyo Kamikaze)
- [13:16:22] Quickly Kyo walks over to the materials and holds out his knapsack and dumps a few of them in. "yay" he said lowly as he claimed his mini victory!
- (Kyo Kamikaze)
- [13:17:13] "Indeed, these weapons will be much better off in Cinderfall. Once we clear out these bandits, I want this room scavenged completely." She'd speak, nodding her head in agreement. Maria would proceed to examine the weapons racks, not seeing anything that particularly appealed to her. Her own Holy Blade was far better than anything here, but for those back in Cinderfall? The refugees could always use more arms.
- She'd then focus on finding a way forward, ignoring the bag for now. It didn't seem particularly enticing to her. Her light would be continuously cast, looking for an exit to this chamber. The faster they moved, the faster they could get home without being buried in by a blizzard or something.
- (Maria Shateiel)
- [13:18:04] Still holding on closely to Leila, they were guided safely into an equipment room thanks to Marina's light. Who knows what would happened if they went forth without any solid vision... Anyways, the group scattered inside the large room where plenty of war weapons, armour and equipment was being stored. By the looks of it, this was some kind of underground bunker, safe from the harsh lifestyle of the outer world. He held Leila's hand as they stood and waited for someone daring -or foolish- to inspect the eerie bag that was located in the corner of the chamber.
- "Stay put Lei, we'll let the others inspect the bag. In the meantime, let's keep watch for our friends ok?"
- He smiled at her, hopefully comforting her from the wrath of the large tension that was now filling the air subtly like a heavy scented miasma. He then looked over at the bag... what could be in it.
- "The bag is the only weird thing in here so far, someone should go check it out."
- (Kuro)
- [13:19:47] Weapons held little value to liara, even staves, and with no interest did she go near the armory unles the others went that way, her blue eyes kept upon others, hopeful to see that they wouldn't pursue the route, that they could just focus on tending to the little hatchlings.
- She had no intent of going in unless it was the will of the group, her own flame being used to keep light spread well between the two groups, good thing this wasn't another runic door, the blue eyes of the girl peered to the poor victim of the first, little Leila, so innocent of a pup to get shocked by the cruel runic markings.
- Liara was still concerned about the ltitle one, even this much later after the shock.
- (Liara Myr)
- [13:21:29]
- Leila closely followed behind Kuro as they passed by the pit, she was glad that Maria had lit up the hall or who knows what would have happened. They all had come into a room that felt uneasy to the young Ookami, staying close to Kuro she noticed the bag. It could mean rare find or a trap that could mean someone getting hurt or worse, If it came down to it, Leila would proudly grab the bag but she was hoping that wouldn't happen.
- The pup would have offered until Kuro would tell her to stay still and to let the others handle the situation unitl danger showed up. Leila wouldn't argue and continue to stay close to the older Ookami "okay" she would quietly tell Kuro.
- (Leila)
- {NARRATION} With the groups decision to take the weapons after the whole ordeal, the outside world was still giveing all it had with the blizzard forcing the outside forces to come inward. With Lucius being curious how ever, the bag itself seemed harmless, but as he searched he could feel wires and eventually a square object. When Lucius looked inside it would intell, A BOMB! Surely, the contents inside of the bag was something that of a bomb. The timer wasn't really showing going off, but it was only a matter if the bomb would set it self off (Lucius please roll)
- {NARRATION} With the bomb not going off, it was reall lucky that Lucius himself was a spirit. Though in the corner of his eye he would notice that there was a small orb in the center powering the whole thing. He could grab it if he wanted, or had someone else get it for him. The small orb was of an elemental type, though only Lucius could see wha tit was for the moment. (Lucius can take the elemental orba nd choose its element) With that out of the way, the outside seemed to get more and more talkative as it seemed that alot fot eh guards were returning to the courtyard just outside of the room. The room had no door nor windows, though if the group looked out, the room was connected to a hallway with 2 paths. One toward the bandit base center and the other toward another flight of stairs going down. On the left, would be the centre of the place with tons of guards lurking about, though o the right, they would hear something, crying almost begging for help.It was their choice and their choice alone on what to do.
- [13:33:26] Lucius would reach in to the bag. Feeling around, he would notice that... It was a bomb! But this bomb, seemed to have a core. A magical orb within it's center. Perhaps, something that Lucius could actually use...
- Reaching his hand in further, he would reach into the center of the bomb. Before expanding, and breaking it apart harmlessly with a growing ball of stone. In the center of the magical stone, would be the core of the bomb. From inside, he could feel it. A sort of heat. An orb of fire magic.
- With that, Lucius would pull the ball of stone out of the now harmless bag. This was something he could actually keep for himself... Perhaps even use in the creation of a new set of soulsteel armor...
- "The bag is neutralized. We can continue."
- (Lucius Volusenna)
- [13:34:17] Bandits are bad news.
- Especially when one can hear a lot of them nearby. The orange haired yout hwould have begun to hear some guards, and Thom nervously glanced towards that section of the area. Afterwords though he heard something else.. Cryng and begging for assistance. And since he understood that it was likely human in nature. Quietly he looked towards the others around.
- "I think we should go to the thing thats crying for help.. Then maybe we can come back around and go towards those stairs. What do you guys think?"
- (Thom)
- [13:36:00] Two paths? Which to take? The path of least resistance? Marina could hear the gathering of guards just outside the room they were currently in. There were two paths to choose as it seemed there had been this whole time. It was best to avoid having to do any major combat, but on the other hand they had come here to get rid of these awful bandits. They could go down or head towards the noise, a cry for help it seemed.
- "we came here to help, right? So let's go see what that Nosie is about" Marina says agreeing with the young orange haired boy.
- (Marina Avner)
- [13:37:42] He heard it too -- the bandits. But something else as well. Being close to the wall, Lyse moved closer, placing his ear against the cold divider, unsure of what he was hearing was what he was thinking. Seemed like Thom already spoke what was on his mind: he wanted to check that crying out.
- "'Greed. I second the kid's idea." he nodded, following in suit of Thom and the others.
- (Lyse Evander)
- [13:38:33] Luckily for everyone Lucius had managed to neutralize the bomb. Good thing too. Rust wasn't looking to turn into ashes in the middle of some bandit base out in some forsaken tundra. Soon the group would hear something that sounded like a cry for help.
- Glancing towards Kyo the teenager would say,"I think that's your baby dragon." While Rust hadn't actually seen what was making the noise he figured that it was the only possible outcome considering the circumstances. Of course he could have always been wrong.
- Quickly getting a hold of his dagger the boy would eye the various paths that the group would have been able to take. "Whatever we do let's do it fast. Let's also try to avoid any more traps."
- (Rust)
- [13:41:07] It appears that the bag probably contained something deadly, but it was nothing in the grasp of a Magi. There was a crying sound eminating from a certain direction and people wanted to go investigate. Holding Leila's hand, he walked right behind Lyse and Kyo, intrigued by the presence.
- "Maybe it's a call for help... we need to go help the person -or thing- in danger. Leila, this might be dangerous so stay beside me ok? I can't put myself in harm's way to save you. It's inefficient for the mission."
- He then followed the squadron, not making a single sound but always trying to sense some kind of disturbance in the area.
- (Kuro)
- [13:42:49]
- Leila sighed with relief as the item inside was not dangerous due to the spirit checking it and deactivating it. Her ears would twitch as she heard the crying and screaming, she instantly wanted to find out if that is where the dragon babies were being held.
- The younng pup wanted to check out the crying but who knows what could be making those noise that weren't baby dragons. She would be willing to fight alongside her friends if this turned sour.
- (Leila)
- [13:45:23] There was a simple nod from the blunette, besides that, the cries were probably the poor infantile dragons. "Yea, we should head down, see what is crying. We can always make our way back, if that's the wrong way, or a dead end." Openly she'd tell of that fact, blue eyes with her blue coat lined with buffallo hair, ruffling in the cold as she'd look down, her choice of legwear was kind of not the greatest. being she didn't have much else other than the tights over her thigh high socks to keep her legs warm, it was doing a fine enough job, but too much time outside like that blizzard was proving to be, and she might get frostbite.
- Even still, the young woman trodded on, with no intent on letting the little children age dragons suffer. The cane in hand, a plume of fire in wicklight fashion resting just above her palm. Liara would keep up with the others in their group, eager to see to it they proved or disproved the potential of the baby dragons suffering, or yearning for their mothers and fathers.
- A deep breath. "Be cautious." her tone was hushed. "We don't know if the others are still here."
- (Liara Myr)
- [13:45:23] "Very well, we head towards the noise," Maria would speak, continuing to lead the group into the depths of the cavern. Her magic would light the way still. She had her doubts about going this direction, but did not voice them. Every step forward ached with the caution she expressed, and she still could not help but feel as if they should have eliminated those within the other chamber.
- But she would not be a leader if she did not listen to the resolve and decisions of those under her. She guided them to the right, leading them into the unknown depths.
- (Maria Shateiel)
- [13:46:14] Crying.
- As Kyo finished collecting the metals. He turned around to see the spirit that was apart of the group reach into a bag. Which seemed to react with his very presence with a bright glow before shimmering down. It was only then that the being had pulled out something red which he assumed was some kind of elemental orb of some kid.
- Shrugging his shoulders. Nodded and began to move towards the group. But as he neared everyone. He noticed how there was commotion from outside of the room.
- Obvious to see that the only door that was there was one that led out into a hallway. Moving towards the doorway. Kyo peaked out side. One way seemed to lead towards the commotion, the other doorway seemed to have crying coming from it.
- Frowning. Kyo hoped that it wasn't any thing cruel that was happening. But knowing what kind of traps they've already encountered. He was sure that it was disasterous.
- Rust came out and called it. It was the baby dragon in fact. The one that Kyo had seen being taken away. Perhaps there was more than one.
- Suddenly, Kyo had the urge to rush out and save whatever creature was crying out for help. But he also had the feeling that he shouldn't just up and go and leave everyone behind. No matter how much his nerves was telling him too.
- "Your probably right Rust.. Let's go towards the sound of crying. We'll deal with that commotion later. " he said as he walked out into the hallway and stared out towards the commotion. Thinking about how he was going to make them pay for doing such a crime.
- Rage rolled through him as he tried to keep his cool. Huffing and puffing was the best thing he could do in order to do that. But as he tried to. It seemed that as he breathed through his nose. Frost came out as he continued to breath in and out.
- "Come on.... Let's go!" he said as he waited for everyone to join him outside. He didn't want to be like Ryoko. Someone selfish and ran out and leaving others behind. No matter how angry he was. He wanted to do what was right.
- (Kyo Kamikaze)
- {NARRATION} The group decides to follow the sudden cries as the bandits grew closer to the center of the camp because of the grand storm. It was mightyindead, thoigh as the group began their decendment into the dark clutches of the Bandits hideout, the cries began to grow louder and furious. The cries sounded like a child or even an infant breaking down into tears. The room is pitch black at the bottom and when it all came down to the worst, if the room was lit up, the group would see a baby Wymrling. Or so called "Baby Dragon". Its wings were clipped slightly to remove the fact of it escaping and its claws have been numbed down. The Dragon's eyes were closed as it was in heavy pain as the dragon's tail was cut to sheds and its stomach had fresh cut marks. Around them laid an operation table with runes, marking, and other strange symbols on it. It seemed that who ever was doing this was enjoying themselves as the table was marked with several scraps, blood staints and even the embodiment of Dragon bones and a fresh skull with pieces of flesh still on it. The pungent smell gave the group a bad reaction just as the dragon cried out again, with its eyes closed. (Who ever wants to interact with the Dragon please roll 1-100)
- [14:22:04] As they came across a new room the first thing that Marina noticed was the smell. The darkness was also enveloping, but she could see a little. And what she saw was terrifying, she almost retches from the combined sight and smell. The baby dragon is chained to a wall, signs of obvious abuse on its body. Scars littered its chest, its wings were clipped and its tail missing. Marina flashes with red hot anger. "I'm going to kill every single one of them she whispers" her fist clinched.
- Marina steps forward and raises her hand slowly, ever so slowly. The poor thing was an infant so it probably wouldn't understand speech so there was no point in trying to convey her feelings to it. She just hoped the young dragon understood that her intentions were to help not harm. Marina grabs the sword off her back and steps forward slowly again as not to scare the large beast. Her wings and horns were out so hopefully it would recognize her as an ally. Her blade flashes attempting to cut through the chain that tied the dragon down.
- (Marina Avner)
- {NARRATION} With the world shining darkness upon the infants eyes, the group would still see the cuts and everything on the young dragon. The dragon was only a few feet big and looked to be in dire pain. The young dragon was a deep blue with yellow strands on its wings and eyes indicating that it was a lightning element Dragon. This was a very rare sight as the lightning dragons tend to keep at the very top of the mountian. With that, the Dragon began to feel Marina's hands as she attempted to corress the little one, though soon after, the crying stopped and the dragon's eyes began to open. When they did, they set off to the side as they starred at the olden spirit. The dragon blinked once at the spirit as it began to imprint on him, though with that, it didn't move and breathed heavily as the cuts on its body hurt heavily. Surely it should recieve a little bit of healing. With that, the chain that was attatched to the infant was rusted and at the end laid a large ball of adamanite to restrict its movement. how cruel of someone to do this to an infant. Before long, the group of bandits began to come closer, though when they saw the door to the ceiler open, they close the door and locked it tight. When the door was closed, suddenly, another openned making a large light in the room brighter then Maria's own light as it seemed. Only one way forward now.
- [14:42:33] A baby dragon. Amazing.. Even if it was all in pain and scarred up the grey eyes of Thom looked at the eletrical creature with a grin. He would have wanted to pet it a little bit, tell iteverything was ok but it would not be his place, at least not now. The orange haired youth continued to have his bow and arrow drawn, faced back towards the door they had come from before everytually it was closed and locked. That was a releif.
- Turning around Thom once again looked at the dragon before looking around to all the others. "Liara, Maria.. You two should try to heal it up a little-" he started before suddenly there was another large light. The boy drew his bow back, aiming towards the source, towards the path forwards.
- ".. I think we go that way. We need to make sure the dragon gets out of here safely." Thom declared, the little orb of eletricty zooming around him.
- (Thom)
- [14:42:33] The sight of the dragon certainly wasn't something Rust had expected to see. The dragon looked like it had seen better days. Not only this but it was an infant and it already looked covered in injuries. "Brutal."
- At least it wasn't dead, well yet anyways. Rust wasn't exactly sure if the creature was going to be able to come out of this alive. However if Drakanites were already a resilient folk then Dragons must have been even more resilient. Either way Rust held no interest in looking after the Dragon, that was what Kyo came to do here anyways.
- Instead Rust would keep a careful look out so that he'd be able to see if any bandits had made it to them yet.
- (Rust)
- [14:47:40] The dragon would be in terrible shape. Cuts and gashes would cover it's body. And a chain, would hold it in place where it was. Out of anything else, this would make it very clear that these bandits... Suffice to say, they were not good people. But that was something that Lucius would have to think about later...
- The baby dragon would stare over at the spirit. Somehow managing to see him... Lucius would be able to see it in the dragon's eyes. And given that, he couldn't simply leave it... It simply wouldn't feel right.
- Lucius would bring himself closer, before leaning down to be level with the dragon. He couldn't exactly touch it. But, given that he was the first person this dragon had seen, perhaps his presence would be calming. From his aura, a small bit of warmth would radiate from Lucius. Warming the dragon. And, perhaps even easing the pain. Though not healing it...
- "They are going to be needing medical attention. If anyone has any healing magic, now would be a good time to use it."
- (Lucius Volusenna)
- [14:51:05] It was certainly not a pleasant sight for anyone that was present currently, there was a roughed up baby Dragon on the premises, surely one that's gotten tortured lots too. Kuro didn't really know what to do with it, he wasn't a Drakanite, he was an Ookami and there was no efficient way of communicating with the creature. He stood by Leila, and watched as Marina took charge and approached the Dragon. They needed a Holy Magi after Marina cut the chain, unfortunately Ed wasn't here currently.
- "We need to make sure we also stay safe, the Dragon can't be the priority, but... that being said... we're gonna do our best to make sure both survive; the group and the Dragon. That's the more logical way to go."
- He looked over at everybody, awaiting their decision on the matter.
- (Kuro)
- [14:51:56] The malodor of blood and viscera pervaded the room, circling the atmosphere like an aura of gloom and doom. And it was really awful. Lyse winced, quickly covering his nose against his cape before he had a chance to gag. His sienna eyes narrowed at the sight of the mutilated baby dragon -- and it filled him up with a kind of grief and anger that tugged in the pit of his stomach.
- He allowed the scene to unfold before him, considering he had nothing to contribute here. Dealing with children, especially infant dragons, was not his strong suit. Seems like it was already comfort in the grasp of the other two. At least he dodged that bullet.
- "Scum...Can't believe shit like this happens." he uttered under his breath.
- Unfortunately, it was times like these Lyse wished he was endowed with special healing abilities. Though he can't complain about what he has now -- just the feeling of helplessness really irked him.
- Suddenly, darkness reenveloped the room, plunging visibility down to nigh zero. If it wasn't for Door #2 miraculously opening up, he would've panicked. This seemed intentional; they'd have to be wary.
- "This is fuckin' stupid." he whispered to Kyo. "I wish them shit'ead bandits would come out already."
- (Lyse Evander)
- [14:55:21] Dragon
- As the group came into the clearing. There it was, the Dragon. But not just any kind of Dragon. Infact it was one whose attributes seemed to fit that of lighting. Smiling foolishly. Kyo smiled as he saw that such a beautiful creature was still alive.
- He wanted to reach out and reassure that it was okay. But then the cuts upon it. The brutality that it endured hurt him dearly. But he knew that Kyo didn't have the potential to heal such wounds. So he looked over to Maria. "You think that you could heal it?" he asked in wonder as he stared at the creature weakly. He wanted to reach out to it. To touch it. But Lucius and Marina had beat him to it. But then, the unspeakable happened.
- The spirit known as Lucius had seemed to be intuned with the Dragon. As if the dragon had choosed him for some odd reason. Kyo couldn't help but feel outraged and wanted to strike down the spirit as his eyes glowed with rage. Tighting his grip on ths scythe that now appeared in his hand. He was ready to reap this spirit and send it back where it came from.
- Only that... He took another look at the dragon and calmed himself. It was the dragon's choice, and that. He had to respect. It was just the fact how the dragon had somehow reached a connection with something out of this world. Not even a living creature.. Not even a Drakanite.... It broke him to wonder what Dragons actually looked for.
- Angered. Kyo turned to the opening. Knowing that the bandits had locked the door, only giving them one way out. Kyo was about to bathe in blood. Blood of that, his enemies....
- (Kyo Kamikaze)
- {NARRATION} With the dragon choosing its imprint on the Spirit by time, the door opened just after the dragon opened its eyes so it could misprint if it didnt have enough time, though the light shine bright enough to scare the little one into running into the room. Though the room that would have been entered would have been shiny with tons of gold and mulitple nice looking materials, though the world as they knew it would come to breif close as the room began to crumble and there was no time to look around. The time to search around was not, they could only grab what they could and run off, thought something could happen in the mean time. (Everyone must roll) 1-19 :(Wait for Further Narration) 20-39: Orb of Choice Or Steel 40-59 A chest of crowns (500k) or Dread Ebony 60-79: A backpack of Iron Oak *Or* Blood Copper 80-89: Orichalcum or Mithril Helmet 90-100: Frostspark Sapphire Or Harmonized Quartz
- {NARRATION} As the walls came crashing down, the gang had no time to think as the group began to dash furth and grabbed what ever they could for the time being. (Marina:83) As Marina rushed past her allies in arms. In her way laid a large helmet. The helmet itself seemed to gleem in bright colors of blue, yellow and white. It was like it was almost "calling" out to her, for her to take it home like a new to set of designer boots. Though the time of fantasy was neigh and the long awaited loot was earned by their efforts to stay hidden rather then go out fighting. The group was aiming big and that was understandable. With her new helmet in hand, Marina could choose one of the 5 paths that laid in front of her. (Liara: 60) As the grown 17 year old ran up onto the base of the room something wrapped in cloth caught her eye. Just before the room began to fall apart, she unwrapped it to reveal Blood Copper! (Kuro:51) Kuro himself was flattered by the amount of treasure that laid out in front of the group, though with the walls quickly coming down, he had no choice but to run, though with the walls and ceiling coming down with no remorse. All he could grab was a bag. The bag was rather heavy but it didn't slow him down much, when he looked inside it showed alot of crowns in it. If counted lter it wold add up to five hundred thousand! (Lucius:46) With Lucius' ghastly fingers, he knew that the falling ceiling wouldn't hurt him at all, though what was the fun in that? Lucius could run all he wanted but the walls would only fall faster, though through all the running, he would grab a bag just like Kuro and found crowns inside of them too. (Maria: 45) In Maria's golden wings, she would have no choicebut retract them so she wouldn't be slowed down, or use them to fly but only making the debi fall quicker toward her. Though as she ran/flew, she too would grab a small back containing crowns. (Lyse: 36) On this one's journey, the older Drakanite would stand firm as he did, though with the falling debris, he had no choice but to run as well. As he did a single fire sphere stood out amounst the rest, so he eventually grabbed it as he made his way out. (Thom: 32) On his journey outward, the young human took his time eyeing every table out there but with no look, he followed right behind Lyse and grabbed Lightning orb for himself. (Leila :25) As the little Ookami pup ran as fast as her little legs could carry her, she only managed to keep up with Lyse and Thom, and grabbed an earth orb for herself for the keeping. Just hoping she was ok she would stick by them for the time being. (Rust: 12) As rust began to run as his feet could carry him behind everyone, he began to slip across the room and tripped on a few pieces of debris, whilst not looking forward, though he was about to get up with not much of a problem, though he scraped his knee. Rust was unlucky and unable to grab anything for his own.(-2 vitality) (Kyo: 3) Oh how the gods have treated Kyo thus far. He has been stripped of his glory to be a Dragon's imprint and he was unable to something more then what he was treated. Surely there was something epic he could grab that could rectify his injustice!? Or. Not. Kyo ws not lucky today as the debris fell from the ceiling and cornered him with piles of the ceiling falling right on his foot. Ouch! that has to hurt (-2 Agility) With that in mind, there were only 5 exits and all the gates were closing, though even if they tried only two people would be able to go with each other and with the numbers against them all, it began to be clear that they needed to slit up. (The Splits are: Thom and Leila Lyse and Rust Liara and Maria Marina and Kuro Kyo and Lucius)
- {NARRATION} As the duo faced their efforts intrying to keep themselves from being pancakes. Thom and Leila were in the mists of everything falling behind them like a tsunami of debris. It was only until the young Ookami pup noticed the entrance ahead and smell fresh air. Upon reaching the outside, it seemed that they were the furthest from their destination and stuck in what seemed to be the north end of Wychwood!
- [17:26:24] Quickness!
- IT was sudden when the roof started to come down on them, and Thom would have moved. The orange haired youth turned into a sphere of lighting, darting across the area and grabbing one of the slower looking members of the group, barely having time to grab an orb of elemental power before taking both himself and the one he grabbed through one of the 5 paths.
- It was panic, it was unexpected, but there was little time to think. Slowing down a little to catch his breath however, Thom's hues would fall upon the one he took with them; that being :Leila. "Oh sorry." He said to the ookami before taking a second to breath in.
- The boy was very quick to visalize the doorway in his mind to the spirit world, opening it up and drawing forth the eletrical prowess that dwelled within. A little sphere of eletric energy formed and began to zip around him, turning into the form of a small humanoid, blue eyes looking around curiously as Thom allowed for red sparks to pop and cackle around him, and take the glaive off his back.
- "We better keep moving.. We'll have company shortly.. I feel it." his eyes glanced around the place they arrived, seemingly near the forest where his dad lived.
- (Thom)
- [17:36:38]
- In the midst of the chaos, Leila managed to run as fast as she could, grabbing an sphere shaped object. Trying to keep up with Lyse and Thom, a pair of hands had grabbed Leila's wrist, the hands belonged to Thom as he hardened his grip to not lose the pup.
- They went through an entrance that breifly blinded the Ookami pup, Thoms voice can be heared apologizing to Leila. "No worries, Thank you Thom" Leila would say as she would catch her breath. She looked around to see that they were not in the snowy lands anymore, it felt familiar to Wychwood Forest.
- As Leila hears Thom talk about moving forward, that they will have company shortly, the pup quickly casted toxic plants to surround her, just in case anything or anyone decided to surprise us. The pup stayed close to Thom as they moved through the forest, she was careful to not stray too far behind and to have him in her sight.
- (Leila)
- [18:17:36] And so, two people appear before his eyes. What they're doing here is anyone's guess, except his own. He just stares at the two children that appear, blinking a couple of times, but soon smirking. This was a good chance for him to fight, it's been very boring for the past while, anyways. He takes a couple of steps closer to the two children, twisted smile still present on his face. Once he was close enough, he draws his blade, no words spoken as he keeps it aimed at them.
- He pulls it back and charges at the pair, still having said nothing at all, not even screaming at them. He just wanted to fight, for whatever reason, he wanted to fight these two.
- (John Iron)
- [18:22:43] {combat} John Iron has been defeated by Thom! They're unable to continue fighting.
- [18:28:41] That was odd.
- As soon as Thom and Leila arrived they would be greeted with a fight, though they should have expected it. It would be with a child around their age, but this boy had far more elements under his control then Thom did.. Honestly the boy was reminded of Liara's power as he was hit by wind, fire, water, and earth, striking him from several angles.. And the weirdest part was the silence that the child gave when they began.
- The elmental however would give him a heads up on what to do. The ten year old might have dominated the field but the little eletric figure would have told Thom to strike, when, how, and to dodge. Not only that but Thom had started to control its power a lot better then before, adding its strength to his own, before finally a large arrow of flames knocked the kid far off towards the west side of hte field. His gaze moved to the ookami girl.
- "Good job. Keep on staying away from him and let me focus on striking him close up! You're doing great Leila!"
- (Thom)
- [18:32:57]
- Leila stood confidently beside Thom as they faced one of the bandits that had taken the baby dragon, he seemed to be my age. Elements are seen to levitate around the boy, knowing that he can do harm to Leila.
- The young pup would not dare to fight fist to fist with the bandit as she would be able to be defeated easily. Instead, she stayed away from the midst of the battle and spawned spores that would slow the bandit down enough for Thom to injure him until he fell.
- Leila gave a thumbs up to Thom as he congratulates her and gives her advice, Leila would be able to outrun the bandit if he manages to get close to her.
- [18:34:40] The girl, she's the weakest link, isn't she? He should focus on her first, take her down and the other one will fall shortly after all. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, it's the same with team work. A smirk appears on his face once more, rising to his feet and looking between the two of them. This was the most fun he'd had in a long time, and he didn't want it to end, either. He looks between them, not wanting them to know of his target for the girl, so time for a bluff.
- His sword is raised, aimed directly at Thom, the hand not holding a weapon glides the thumb against his neck. He was going to make them think he was targetting the male. Of course, a gentleman WOULD target the man first, and not hurt a woman, but he's not man and he'd FAR from being gentle. His sword is lowered, once more, the magic around him sparking up once more. His three elements being used, in an attempt to take the two down, so he can have a couple of playmates for a long, long time.
- (John Iron)
- [18:36:22] {combat} Leila has been defeated by John Iron! They're unable to continue fighting.
- [18:36:22] {combat} John Iron has been defeated by Thom! They're unable to continue fighting.
- [18:40:38]
- Leila would quickly dash towards as the bandit runs towards them to switch places the second he damage the Ookami. She would try to stay afar as winds followed her, knocking her to her feet and flames had burned. The young Ookami pup would be knocked out unconcious until Thom had defeated the bandit.
- (Leila)
- [18:43:12] That dastardly kid!!
- Thom would have assumed that Joh was once again going to target him, but the bastard would change it up, going after the ookami girl. Thom's eyes widdened and in a moment he would be on John, using all manner of his moves in attempt to keep him away from her. A giant arrow of flames lept from the tip of the glave, taking John across the field, and that would be followed by several strikes of flames and lighting.
- But it wasn't enough. Even with the strength of the Elemental creature he was barely able to summon it wasn't enough. Thom failed his task of protecting the ookami girl just by a hair and a moment after Lelila fell so would John. Thom's eyes lit up in fear, dashing over towards Leila and picking up the unconsious girl..
- He was going to take care of her. IT was his duty as an Eternal flame to protect his allies after all.. And so, going back towards John he quickly stole the silent boy's crowns, not knowing how much he would need for a doctor once he and Leila got back but then would begin walking with the ookami girl in his arms, looking for the others.
- She didn't look that hurt but he was paniced on the inside reguardless.
- (Thom)
- {NARRATION} With everyone making it back to the bandit base, it seemed that the weather died down heavily since they last saw the outside. With the weather down, the group made way back to the base they began to notice coming up that there were no guards. No soliders waiting for them at the gates and nothing beyond them. With no one outside, the group only heard the noise inside. It was almost disturbing to hear. Though if one of the ookami heard closely enough they could hear the crowd of soilders shouting. "SIR! EVERYONE EVERYONE IS GONE! XIRA, OLIVIA, JOHN, AND VICTORIA ARE ALL GONE!!" The crowd began to grow scared as they saw the 4 as their knights to redemption to a new age of power. The guards began to throw out a panic until they heard the front gate bursted down and the group emerged. The fight was just starting as the crowd began to shiver in fear and began to run out of the base and out of Dragon's Peak. Though something was still wrong. Something off. Before long, a large noise could be heard infront of them.
- [19:06:14] These sounds, the scent of defeat smelled near. It told the battlehardened veteren a tale unlike any other. His challengers had the audacity to charge forth, to show themselves before the man, but something was not...right. This isn't an ordinary sight as the grip of the staff tightens. The butt of the destructive instrument banging against the floor with a loud pang resonating through the area.
- " I never thought I'd hear those words. " The man murmured, closing his eyes. The area would begin to shake, a tremor being produced as large footsteps are made- The throne of the Bandit King started to shatter from the earth it had been sculpted out of. " It's a shame. That people arrive to my base. " Laughter started to erupt from the creature's lips. Finally, his eyes opened.
- The natural color of the base-...well...it lost its color, reverting to black. " This is my domain." Eyes illuminated, and the body of the mighty bandit king started to float up, his pale skin started to crack, a streak of black botching his cheeks, and several parts of his body. " All you had to do was live, everyone. " Referencing his fallen comrades...
- His body started to erupt out this spatial energy, the lifeforce-the very drive that kept people going, Mana.. It started to effortlessly get suckled out from the intruders. If any notable magi could sense-this base, wasn't normal. In fact. . none of this was normal, the man wasn't normal.
- They're inside something much more deadly, and devastating for... this base is the man itself.
- " Vanish. "
- Boss Battle: Bandit King of Beyond.
- (Bandit King)
- [19:10:30] {combat} Lyse Evander has been defeated by Bandit King! They're unable to continue fighting.
- [19:10:30] {combat} Bandit King has been defeated by Maria Shateiel! They're unable to continue fighting.
- {NARRATION} With everything going on in the battle Lucius and Rust were the ones given the bigger responsibility since the King was targeting them more over then anyone. With that in close-mind, the king drew his attention more onto Rust as he took a hand up and grabbed the boy's hand and began to drain everything from him, though before he could take everything from the little boy, Lucius came in for the rescue and pushed him aside. With that, the Bandit king drew alot of power from the spirit and made him quite weak even for him. (Rust has lost his left hand. Lucius has recieved a -5 Mcap nerf for the day and Rust losses -5 Melee and -5 Vitality for his hand) With the Bandit king down for the count again, he began to shutter words to himself as he looked to the ground. "Im sorry.....Alex......I....failed you....." Before long, the bandit began to cough up black ooze as he disentergrated into nothing. The Bandit king didn't say anything during the whole ordeal, though all that was left behind was his staff. The Staff itself eemed to be made of Bone and steel. It wasn't a common thing to have but nonetheless, it was there. After such an encounter, the group could claim victory but victory isn't anything as much as their spoils. As moving up the King's quarters, they would notice several thing of higher value then anything in the last one they visited. The room was stock full of rare items and gear. The bunch of rascals could get their hands dirty in all the loot. 1-29: (Wait for Narration) 30-39: Steel and Iron (Yes both) 40-49: Crowns 800k 50-59: A block of Adamanite 60-69: Orb of Eternity 70-79: (You find a small red box in the corner with the name "Alex" on it) 80-89: (you find a small case in the back full of jewlery but only a Necklace catches your eye 90-99: A gemstone of Onyx Nazarite (Roll for Sin) and 500k crowns 100: (wait for narration)
- {NARRATION} With the excitement of the loot afterward going to everyone's minds the first thing is everyone goes about their buisness to obtain their new loot. With Kuro's simpled mind, it seemed that the case in the back of the room caught his eyes. The gleeming light within the hall seem to shine the most with one preticular necklace. The necklace was laced in dark gems and animal bone. The necklace seemed to give off a bad feeling but the beauty of it seemed so right. (Kuro has obtained the Memory of the King) Kyo was interested with the cast as well with Kuro, though with his first look taken, the next best thing seemed to come out of nowhere. In front of im laid a crown with a strange black orb in the center. Upon inspection, the crown itself was destroy into a pile ash but the orb laid dormant sitting in Kyo's hand, though it didn't feel sinister evne if it was pitch black. (Kyo has recieved the Orb of Eternity, this prb gives a weapon a more of a "ether" element then anything else.) Marina herself was a curious girl with many intrests. It wouldn't be long before she spotted a black orb sitting on the foot of the reseach table. The orb was similar to that of Kyo's in everyway, though she could think other wise. (Maria has recieved the Orb of Eternity as well.) Rust, Thom, and Maria were all searching together as they seemed to find a large chest in the back, they all wanted what was inside, but when they opened it they found 2.4 million crowns! Though since they were friends, so they all decided to split it 3 ways making them all get 800k each. (Thom, Rust, and Maria get 800k Crowns) Leila was a curiosu pup and anything could catch her eye as something cool. In the corner of her eyes, Leila began to see a few shimmers in the bag in the corner of the room, though the bag only contained a hand full of Iron ores and steel plates. (Leila has a bag full of Iron Ore which will translate to 4 iron bars and 3 steel bars) For Liara she seemed to come across a small red box with the name that the Bandit King spoke before he died. The box read "Alex" A strange name for something or someone who must have been gone for a while. When she opened it, it seemed like there was a beautiful ring inside. Maybe it was an engagement ring, though on it seemed to have many jewels. (Liara has recieved The Ring of Promise. She can ask for 2 elements of her choice please dont try to do dual elementals for 2 .ex: Holy Water and Holy Lightning) With both Lucius and Lyse side by side, they began to ponder arond trying to see if they could find anything of use. To them they saw a large curtain past everyone likely if there was a room right behind them. They both nodded to check it out. As they accomplished this, they pulled back the curtain to reveal a skeletal body in a chair holding a small chest. Since Lucius was a spirit he felt uneasy distrbing this site, though Lyse felt fearless and walked over tot he chest and took it from the skeleton body and opened it. When he opened it the box began to glow a bright read and began blow up in a large amount of smoke covering the roomand the one next to it as everyone was touched by this mysterious smoke. After a few moments, the room began to fill up with nothing but the smoke and everything minus what everyone had was begining to melt. Everyone would be rushed outside, though as they did they felt....different. (Everyone has to roll 1-10 due to mutations)
- {NARRATION} The smoke began to seep into the group of the 10, though it seemed that it didn't get to attached to them. With everyone out of the smoke and outside, it was their choice in how they should have act, but with everything going on, something happened. Rust's body began to burn up slightly as he felt like his own body grew lighter as his heart began to pump faster. (Rust has been given larger veins. + 2 Agility) With Lyse getting out second, it was only a matter of time before he was to, touched by the smoke. When he got out he began to feel something buldge out of his forehead. Though nothing would come out. But it felt like he was seeing red. He got to endulged in the smoke from the begining, though it was showing out. (Lyse has a buldge on his forehead that can be dev'ed into a third eye. +3 Mdam) Lucius himself was a spirit in the making, though the smoke didn't effect im, much, though that was only because the smoke was a physcial plane while he was on a more Mystical one. He was safe, for now (Lucius is having no nerfs from this) (Liara is excempt from the Smoke) Thom, with him being the first few out got the least amount of smoke on his body, though the smoke got a hold of his eyes and blinded him for a moment before they left something behind. Something out of the ordinary. (Thom now has glowing eyes, though he cant turn them off, but he can dim them to about a nightlight. -2Mcap.) Leila with her little Ookami legs were barely able to get away from the spooky smoke. She was fortune to get out, but being one of the few last to get out, she tripped and the smoke engulfed her body, only to have her run away from it again. THough when she got out, her skin seemed to have grown slightly darker then before. (Leila has gotten a visual skin mutation, only difference is that it looks like she has a dark tone from a tan.) With Maria's heroic qualities, she wasn't dangerously in the smoke, though she triped on a large chest simiar to the pup and fell to the ground though she was in the smoke for longer then Leila, though when she got out, her skin began to glow brighter as if the sun was her rival. (Maria has glowing skin similar to Thom, she can dim the light but she cant turn it off.) With Marina being second to last, she was caught up by the smoke just like Maria but she was still on her feet when she got out. With her toughen state the smoke took a lilking to her and gave that to show to others. Her blood began to boil softly and it seemed like she was getting alot better then before. (Marina is given a Refresh roll. She is excempt from all previous nerfs and perm nerfs.) With Kuro being the last one out of the deadly smoke. It would be clear that he would get it worst, but with Kuro's bad unning out, he was hit with a blast of the smoke, and forced outside. Whilst being blasted out, the man fell ontop of Thom who was already having an off day already. Though when Kuro got up, he felt his body shiver as the veins in his arms began to show. (Visual Mutaion no nerf or buff, just fluff)
- [21:21:04] So much change but so little time!
- The battle against the bandit king was over, but just as that happened smoke seemed to fill the air. Thom managed to get away with a lot of crowns, so that was good, but the smoke would have ogtten into his eyes. The boy coughed and coughed, heading towards the outside of the building that they had just fought in before turning around, watching others also leaving.
- Which is when Thom saw his reflection. The boy blinked a few times, heading over towards a window. His grey hues would be no more, and as he got a good view he pulled up his goggles allowing for a spectacle of light to escape. Now while most might consider it freaky.. Thom just grinned.
- "OH COOL MY EYES GLOW NOW!!!"
- The boy declared.
- The color will be decided later I'm getting there.
- (Thom)
- [21:27:53] Many things had happened for Rust. He'd even lost his left hand. This would cause the teenager great pain. However the discovery of crowns had helped to lessen this. Taking away a total of 800 thousand crowns for himself he'd rush out of the room once smoke had started to fill it.
- Coughing as he went Rust would eventually make it to the exit where he'd feel something strange happening to his body. He could feel his body heat rise. Even his heart pumped blood faster and the boy overall felt lighter than he did before.
- However he could always chalk that last one up to being down on a hand. Looking down on what was left of his left hand Rust now had a new objective in mind. Since he didn't know any blacksmiths or had any knowledge of blacksmithing himself he'd have to steal a prosthetic hand from someone else and get someone to stick it on for him.
- (Rust Larencia)
- [21:27:53] The Final Boss felt nearly endless. Even with all the back up, Lyse still had trouble getting near the Big Bandit. He swung, missed, dashed, dodged, and fought. Another fight for the ages, he expects.
- The Boss' brawn was through their magical might, a factor in which the drakanite had trouble dealing with. But alongside his students and allies, the battle would be a decisive one. In short, round one, Lyse got over-zealous, and he suffered a great injury to his chest. A smoldering ruin of burnt clothes and singed flesh...It made him wince, but he wasn't finished yet.
- The combined efforts of the team, and Lyse was allowed to deal the final blow against the Big Boss.
- --
- "Well..This is something." he groaned, rubbing his forehead. Well aside from the discomfort, he felt a bit brighter than before. Ironically.
- He'd do himself a favor, and remember the faces that helped him here today.
- Maria, Marina, Thom, Liara, Lucius, Leila. And he couldn't forget his students, Kyo, Rust and --
- ...Kuro.
- No matter what, Kuro will always be his student. Whether he leaves the school or not. Suffice to say, that boy will always have great potential.
- Though, there wasn't a chance to say that anymore.
- "Well. Time t'go home..."
- (Lyse Evander)
- [21:29:36] The battle against the bandit king was long and hard. She fell the first round but only got pushed back into some soft snow. She watches as the others take down the king. Marina picks herself up at the same time as the enemy and they go for a round two, this time she manages to stay up and deal some decent damage with a mix of fire and occult spells. The battle won the King mutters something and then burst into a pile of dust. Marina sheaths her barely used sword and takes a moment to breath, the last few battels had left her quite tired with the excessive use of magic, but at least they were all alive.
- They make their way into one more room filled with treasures and what not. A shiny black orb catches her attention. Shrugging Marina picks it up, might as well get something out of this whole ordeal. Then suddenly the room is filled with some kind of acrid smoke. The others begin to frantically run, Marina stays behind with Maria helping carrel the others out. She escapes with only a few people left in the room
- Marina stands on the outside coughing. Something else happens, her blood feels strange, as if it is on fire. She represses a scream and a moment later the pain fades. She looks down at herself, nothing seemed to be different. What the hell was that? Marina looks around, other people seem to have gotten it worse, one had a large bump on his head and the boy with orange hair had glowing eyes. But nobody seemed to be seriously injured.
- Marina makes her way to Maria and stands by her side silently, there wasn't much else to say or do, their work was done. For now.
- (Marina Avner)
- [21:30:27] Maria stumbled out of the smoke... To find herself glowing, quite brightly at that. "Wha-?!" She asked, astounded as she looked at her arms. Her skin tingled a bit, but the sensation wasn't one of her own magics. It was as if her skin had become radiant of it's own accord, and honestly? She was kind of finding it neat.
- "So I'm shiny now..." She said, looking between herself and the others. It seemed the others were dealing with their own visible changes. In fact, she'd point to Lyse. "By the holy light, you've got a massive pimple on your forehead!" She declared, unable to really tear her gaze away. Ah, good one Maria. This was your mature leader everyone.
- Maria's eyes however, were eventually drawn away, as the smoke cleared from the room they had been in previously...
- (Maria Shateiel)
- [21:30:27] Lyse Evander: IT'S NOT A PIMPLE..
- [21:31:18] Marina Avner: You---your glowing....
- [21:31:18] Thom: Oh he does have a pimple- and she glows- My eyes glow too!
- [21:31:18] Lyse Evander: S-Stop! It's not a p-p-pimple!
- [21:32:09] Thom: -teleports over to lyse- can i see it?
- [21:32:09] Lyse Evander: H-Hey...It's not like, it's not a pimple, okay?
- [21:32:09] Thom: -Slooooooowly moves forth to poke it, giving lyse time to dodge-
- [21:33:00] Lyse Evander: <*Just stands there and takes it like a man*>
- [21:33:00] There was a peculiar little box, one that made her heart just sink all the more, in the passing of that bandit king, one that made her look down, she knew what kind of little box this was, it had all of those hallmarks. Liara couldn't have known who Alex was, but without the bandit king to recieve it from? There was little point to deliver it to her. The ring itself was peculiar, its affinities were seemingly innert softly flowwing, quietly calling to bring a new mana circuit, to instigate it into the rings aspect.
- It was all coming together nicely, a parcel of five Blood copper slabs, the boxxed ring, freed up shortly of its very precious cargo, the Blunette was very slow to put it on even, as she'd loose a soft breath, questioning very deeply what they really were doing here, bandits or not, they were people too.
- Then it began, a dirth of transposite gas, deforming all it touched and twisting it. she had to keep herself safe, otherwise she absolutely couldn't help others, reflex came, as the water aura she called quickly wisped away clinging particulates and winds whisked away the air itself that was so tainted.
- "Maria!" The blunette piped, calling out to her fellow Flame, a veil of protective waters came up, and between it and the hurricane that billowed and whippetted from the conflicts past them, Liara was able to largely weather away the cloud of gaseous mutagen, however it was a moment passing that a glow came in her place where she was, coming to shine. "M-Maria? W-wow,it's pretty."
- (Liara Myr)
- [21:33:00] Finally, they had defeated the Bandit King and came out victorious on this mission, freeing hundreds of little baby dragons that made their way back home! As the squadron celebrated after defeating the King, they were delighted to see the copious amounts of beautiful loot. Everything seemed alright until... a blast of smoke engulfed the room and everyone had to evacuate. Kuro was the last one out but didn't get affected too much by the mutation, aside from the veins of his arms being slightly more visible. It actually made him look a lot stronger.
- "Good work today everyone, I'm looking forward to the prosperity and wellbeing of Cinderfall and those baby Dragons."
- He turned towards Leila, hugging her, then he walked up to Lyse and Thom patting them both on the back.
- "It's good to see you Sensei, and you too Thom."
- He smiled at the two, finally having been through it all. Kuro looked back over at the room, just to be safe and inspect what was going on in there.
- (Kuro)
- [21:33:00] Thom: -poooooooke- ... I think you're right. Its.. pretty big.
- [21:33:00] Lyse Evander: Gh...Aside from that...
- [21:33:00] Lyse Evander: It's...It's nice to work with you, kid. Kuro, I mean.
- [21:33:52] Kuro: I'm not as bad as you thought huh? Heh.
- [21:33:52] Rust Larencia: I hope eight hundred thousand crowns is enough to buy me a new hand or something.
- [21:34:43] Thom: Kuro look! My eyes glow!!!
- [21:34:43] Lyse Evander: M-My bad Rust. I should've done somethin'...I'm yer teacher 'n all.
- [21:34:43] Kuro: Woah!
- [21:34:43] Thom: -eyes glow brightly-
- [21:37:16] Maria Shateiel: I really don't know what just happened, but at least we're all okay.
- [21:37:16] Lyse Evander: Whew.
- [21:37:16] Marina Avner: I mean..define ok. Alive yes. Ok? I woudlnt say so.
- [21:37:16] Thom: -teleporting and jolting back and forth-
- [21:38:08]
- Leila crawled out of the smoke, coughing. she would lie on the ground as she breathed and watched the sky. She smiled as she realizes she help deafeat her first boss, a scary boss at that and this made her feel proud. The pup sat up and searched her pouch that is stained with berry juice, luckily there would be 6 berries left, she would consume them slowly to savor them.
- The young pup would watch her fellow friends talk to each other about something, she wasn't sure what they were talking about; Leila didn't notice that her skin was slightly more darker than before she came out of the smoke. She continued to consume the berries she held in her hand, happily humming a playful tune as she tended to her growling stomach.
- (Leila)
- [21:38:59] Liara Myr: Are you wishing ill on a little child?
- [21:38:59] Marina Avner: I still want to know why I didn't get hurt....
- [21:38:59] Lyse Evander: N-No I mean,
- [21:38:59] Lyse Evander: I'm glad and all...But look at this thing..
- [21:39:50] Maria Shateiel: Maybe you can cut it off?
- [21:39:50] Lyse Evander: W-What?
- [21:39:50] Lyse Evander: Hell no.
- [21:39:50] Rust Larencia: I don't....look any different either.
- [21:39:50] Thom: -teleports to Lelia and Kuro- They glow guys! They glow!!
- [21:39:50] Liara Myr: Wear a helmet?
- [21:39:50] Lyse Evander: Tch..
- [21:39:50] Maria Shateiel: Thom... Seems happy.
- [21:39:50] Liara Myr: OH! A bandana might work!
- [21:39:50] Liara Myr: Bandanas are stylish!
- [21:39:50] Lyse Evander: I...
- [21:40:41] Leila: -berries fly out of hands from fright- eh... who glows..?
- [21:40:41] Liara Myr: Maria, you're glowing too, and I like it, it's pretty.
- [21:40:41] Marina Avner: I;m kinda digging the glowing skin.
- [21:40:41] Lyse Evander: <*Touches hair*> I kinda like my head the way it is...
- [21:40:41] Maria Shateiel: I dunno... It's gonna be awkward at night when trying to sleep...
- [21:41:32] Liara Myr: Eh, it'll just take getting used to! But ever had a nightlight? OH! YOu'll never need a candle at night again!@
- [21:41:32] Marina Avner: I mean. But glowing. Its cool
- [21:41:32] Thom: Well.. -reduces light slightly while teleporting to Maria-
- [21:41:32] Thom: This is going to be so great!
- [21:42:24] Marina Avner: I guess, at least. I don't know you all get some weird stuff and I'm just fine
- [21:42:24] Lyse Evander: <*Sighs*> What a pain...Ouch...
- [21:45:48] Leila: Ohhh..
- [21:45:48] Leila: But what about the other people who can see you? are you going to continue to blind people till they everntually are all blind?
- [21:46:40] Thom: Oh Lelia! Your skin looks differnt. And nah! Im not gonna blind everyone. Just hte bad ones!
- [21:46:40] Lyse Evander: She has a point...
- [21:46:40] Lyse Evander: Thom what if you accidentally blind a friendly?
- [21:46:40] Maria Shateiel: ... Hmm...
- [21:46:40] Leila: really? -grabs and looks at her tail- my tail doesn't look that bad..
- [21:46:40] Kuro: So guys, how about we head home?
- [21:46:40] Thom: ... I won't blind friendlies. -nod nod- And nah its not your tail! ITs like.. your skin a little?
- [21:47:31] Leila: -realizes what thom said- oh..
- [21:47:31] Lyse Evander: ...Home sounds good. This old man needs a backrest...
- [21:47:31] Leila: -looks at hands- Hm, I feel like I can be an orange. I like oranges!
- [21:48:22] Liara Myr whispers: Other than the glowing though, you still feeling alright, Maria?
- [21:48:22] Liara Myr: <*Did lean into whisper a hand resting on the slightly taller red head's shoudler*>
- [21:48:22] Thom: !! Oranges are great! my grandpapa always has oranges!
- [21:48:22] Thom: Though they hurt after you eat glass...
- [21:48:22] Lyse Evander: ...??
- [21:48:22] Maria Shateiel whispers: Honestly, it's kinda cool, buuut it's gonna take some getting used to.
- {NARRATION} As the group looked around at their new.....physics they were forgetting the most important thing, though it wasn't far long after the smoke cleared that under the rug they were standing on had a secret hatch, though if it was opened, it would reveal something more......scalely.
- [21:50:56] Thom: All of them! Big oranges and small oranges and they're all yum yum yum! -the boy jumps on the balls of his feet!-
- [[21:50:56] Lyse Evander: ...Kids are excitable these days...
- [21:51:47] As he looked inside, there was a hatch. He hastily called the group and went back inside since the smoke had gotten cleared up. He waved at everyone to come look inside as he stood by the entrance.
- "Guys there's a hatch here! I'm gonna open it ok?"
- Without even any confirmation he ran in and pryed open the hatch, which was pretty solid shut, yet no match for a powerful Magi. To Kuro's delight, it was more baby dragons! They seemed happy to see someone other than bandits opening the hatch.
- "Guys... there's more dragons here, help me get them up!"
- He carefully grabbed one of the Dragon's and prudently escorted it outside, hoping the others would do the same.
- (Kuro)
- [21:51:47] Maria would go back into the chamber, and pull open the hatch, revealing inside of it... Baby dragons! Tiny little ones, easily able to be held in the arms of someone. She'd pick one up, using her amulet to soothe it's mind. "Well, we found the babies! Let's get them up and get them back to Dragon's Peak so they can find their parents!"
- (Maria Shateiel)
- [21:54:20] Almost forgetting what he had come here for, it was the moment of truth. The baby dragons kept against their will. Among others too. Now set free, the baby dragons have are able to live our their lives without fear of these very poachings hurting them ever again. A feeling of self-satisfaction fulfilled him and Lyse felt pretty good about himself.
- "Agreed, Maria. Let's get these kiddos back to their parentos."
- He rubbed his chest wound. Still hot, but the pain was waning. Hopefully he could go back home now.
- "Let's go home...My back hurts."
- (Lyse Evander)
- [21:56:03]
- Leila quickly jumped up and sang "Hooray! we found the baby dragons, we found the baby draaagons!" She would wave to the baby dragons that Maria and Kuro had escorted out, they were so cute! "I want to help!" Leila would attempt to carry one of the baby dragons, she groans as the baby dragon is placed in her hands, instantly regretted to ask but she doesn't complain.
- One feet at a time, grunts can be heard from the Ookami who is sweating from carrying ony of the baby dragons, a fussy one at that. It wouldn't sit still, crawling all over Leila, the pup would try to keep it in one place long enough to see where she was going.
- (Leila)
