			Minhyuk was born and raised in Manchester, UK. Growing up, he had just about everything a kid could ask for and more. His parents being wealthy, made sure that he had the utmost highest education that you could think of which sparked his instant intelligence. Minhyuk was basically born with a silver spoon in his mouth and taught the etiquette that one would find in royalty. Even - when he grew tot he ripe age of 6 - he was given singing lessons after showing keen interest to music. He even was given lessons in coding from the top corporate techies that his father paid top dollar (or euros) for. At first, it seemed like the most perfect life that was until his father was arrested for tax invasion and left him and his mother with only 20 bucks and an empty home. It was hell for a while for them and - being the only man in their home now - Minhyuk decided to dive into the black market business at the age of 13 and use what he learned from coding to make a quick buck. It was dangerous, he admits, but it put food on the table and keep a roof over the head and also, his mom didnt have to know. For a few years, till he was about 15 it became too much of a norm for him so much so that when his mother did find out she was not too happy about it. They had a falling out in which his mother jogged his memory about his love for music and suggested that he do something bout that - and Minhyuk was such a mommas boy and was feeling too guilty about making his mother upset - so he decided - with the money he had left, to hitch a plane ride with his mother to Korea and audition to become a trainee. This was all in hopes that he make his mother happy again and keep her financially stable at the same time and maybe just maybe actually enjoy what he did for a living.

||personality ; Minhyuk, at first, can be really aloof. His cold and distant act is only so he can put up a front that he's in control. When, in reality, he's a slight softy who just needs just a little bit of attention front he others but dont tell them that. He bottles up most of his emotions due to him just being accustomed of doing so when he was younger. Minhyuk has the tendency to be a bit of a know it all but really, he cant help the fact that he is smarter then the average 19 year old. His maturity level is a level higher than his peers and he likes to subtly let them know when they try to pull the stupid maknae card on him. Minhyuk also has a deep hatred for the maknae stereotype they try to post onto him when he knows that he's way more than ageyo and childlike wonder. When he does let his emotions show, however, they all come flooding out uncontrollably and not even he would be able to stop. When he's mad he's really mad and when he's sad his heart literally broke in two. When under pressure, he likes to keep a stoic persona so that those spouts of emotions dont let loose and he doesnt completely fuck them all over because he was triggered. Though, he does have his immature moments that he regrets almost immediately, he likes to act older than he already is to keep himself grounded amongst chaos. Minhyuk is a bit competitive only because he had always been told to hold himself to the highest degree because and he quotes "scholars are not of the norm but of the extraordinary". Minhyuk isolates himself others which makes him a complete loner only because he's scared that his knowledge would only make them think he was a pompous asshole when in reality he's a pretty nice guy who would do anything for others in need.
