Birdpost

There was an ugly bird. She "chirped chirped" very loudly when she was born. But, her parents looked down and grimaced: "what an ugly child!" So, they plucked her out of the nest and threw her half broken shell into the earth.

"Chirp chirp, I'm Ugly." The bird said as she tried to live.

"Chirp chirp, I'm Ugly!" The bird said as she tried to love.

"Chirp chirp, I'm ugly!" The bird said as she tried to die.

And she died.
