Three Strings for Saturday

The user eagerly joined here first, and asked a question at the ripe hour of 1:30 AM. The user then waited an agonizing 30 minutes, before asking another question about importing from BanManager. This time, to make sure of being heard, the user rang the doorbell by pinging staff. The staff, sound asleep, were unable to meet this urgent message, and the user was left unanswered.

The user tried another venue. He traveled to the BanManager discord, and asked the same importing question there. But Confuser was unable to assist, so the user returned here.

By 3:30 AM, the user had waited long enough. The user decided to give up the Herculean struggle. Instead, the user went to visit the AdvancedBan discord.

In the AdvancedBan discord, the user asked if it was possible to import from BanManager. A staff member said no. The user followed up in the most eloquent language, "wow", "umm", "okay", "any future plans for this?" But these insightful and poignant suggestions fell by the wayside. The staff member curtly and most disgraciously replied, "AdvancedBan is mostly community driven by now. So I doubt that somebody will add support for some random other ban plugin."

Let down and depressed by AdvancedBan's inability to import from BanManager, at 7:00 AM the long-suffering user returned here. The user pinged staff again, and waited patiently. The user summoned all his courage and tenacity to brave the struggle ahead. But again, our fastidious wanderer was met without response. At 8:30 AM the user had endured enough, and finally gave up.

By now the user was in a turmoil of emotions and confusion. His servants, responsible to be on call twenty-four hours of the day, had abandoned him. No matter his best efforts, his most polite and articulate language, the ignorant people he met had refused to speak to him. So the user withdrew his last weapon of honor: the dollar bill.

Having purchased LiteBans, the user flocked there, and was promptly greeted by Ruan at 8:40 AM. Ruan was a dutiful attendant and answered all his questions, mostly. Between 8:41 AM and 8:49 AM, Ruan was temporarily incapacitated, and did not answer a question about BanManager; within these 8 minutes, the user briefly revisited the BanManager discord, and returned empty-handed to the LiteBans discord. This incident was the only exception to the perfect and stellar service the user received in the welcoming arms of Ruan, who even crafted a specialized update for the user's sole sake.

We end our story with a happy ending. In the course of our story, the brave user struggled many a minutes' wait. He endured brutish staffers and unresponsive, ignorant attendants. But he learned one of the most valuable lessons in human history: that money solves all problems. Care not for others; wait not for them, or on them. Demand the most and the best from those you meet. Have everything and take everything. Love the American dream.
