  1. Baron-Master Gilton ‘Gil’ Alvred du Trent was first son of Baron-Master Trod du Trent and his Polinian wife Déli. At the age of six Gil began learning the Holy Texts of the Triarchy. He learned it with his mind. He learned it with his body. Memorization of the Holy Texts was key to achieving the enlightenment spoken from the Threefold God and the blessings of its most high priest. The sword is the only other companion he would have on his future pilgrimage to Habitance and he was trained to master it. Now a man of twenty he would venture out and face the many trials of the journey. Gil choose the hardest path, crossing through the heretic lands doing injury upon any heretic he should meet if able. Surviving only on what he could take he plundered until he had enough supplies to make the journey and left blooded as a warrior. He would enter the holy city and ask for the blessing of the High Chancellor and return home a holy warrior. Then he would exalt the faith the way his ancestors did, with the sword.

  3. In youth he learned not to share his feelings easily. He understood that the only way to be worthy of privilege is to be outstanding. This meant carrying any burden without complaint and observing those around him to understand their motives. He would address them frankly and emulate their mannerisms to reach them and make them feel human connection with Gil so that in times of war they could be relied upon for loyalty. He did not particularly like any of his contemporaries but did find that his emotions stirred when he considered the feelings of his grandfathers who had sacrificed to bring him to where he is today. His baby sister alone is company that he is happy to have. He can be moved to aid other by considering them as an extension of himself or by considering the welfare of his sister. In these cases he will with great focus move to resolve the issue.
