ZERO: Work's come in, Odin.

ODIN: ?

ZERO: Looks like they're developing new weapons for the troops, and they want us to think of names for them.

ODIN: Thinking of names for weapons, you say!? I feel a roaring from deep within me... neurochemicals rushing through my brain... What an incredible honor!

ZERO: No, hold your horses. You're not the one in charge of naming. They sent word out to all the troops, and the two of us are supposed to work together to submit names in His Highness Leon's name. They'll gather up all the submissions from each group and select a winner, and that gets to be the official name.

ODIN: ... Heh. Well then, you can just sit back and relax for this one, Zero, 'cause this one's right in the middle of my field of expertise!

ZERO: Gotcha. You go do your thing.

ODIN: Now, let's get thinking! ... The first one is a sword, so I should go with something that sounds powerful... like... turbulent... "The Turbulent"... no, it'd be a waste to make up my mind so quickly. Right, let's set the sword aside for now. Next up is a staff. A red one... "The Crimson," uh..."The Crimson"... No, wait. Maybe I should switch it around and....

ZERO: Just so you know, the deadline's not long from now. We don't have time to be twiddling our thumbs.

ODIN: Zero! The heck is this!?

ZERO: Quit shouting. What's the problem?

ODIN: Our weapon names, that's what! Why'd you just run off and submit them on your own!? I was still thinking! And just look at these names! "The Turbulent Mistletwiener"!? "The Crimson Swollen Rod"!? They've got no romance to them! You think this is a game!?

ZERO: Not at all. You're the one who looks more like he's playing around here.

ODIN: What?

ZERO: When I told you it was the deadline, you said you were still thinking. But if we didn't turn anything in by then, it would be a stain against His Highness Leon's honor, so I finished it up and turned it in myself. Nothing wrong with that, is there?

ODIN: No, it's the opposite. It doesn't matter if you miss the deadline by a little. What matters is the quality, the sense behind the names. Submitting an ill-concieved entry would be a greater stain against His Highness Leon's honor!

ZERO: That's if you ever complete your entry in the first place. The way you normally are, you'd just go around in circles, wouldn't you?

ODIN: And you think your jesting is any better? That attitude of yours is exactly what's causing His Highness Leon's reptutation to fall!

ZERO: Oh, you think so? I don't want to hear that from someone who doesn't even have a past to speak of.

ODIN: Why you! You've looked into my past?

ZERO: Of course I have. I owe His Highness Leon a deep debt, and I exist for him. I've investigated any suspicious hinds who might pose a threat to His Highness.

ODIN: Kh... that's enough. This conversation is over.

ODIN: Zero... sorry about last time.

ZERO: Odin...

ODIN: Apparently... our entry's advanced to the secondary selection...

ZERO: Really?

ODIN: Yeah... and when I asked around, people said they liked its "lack of Odin-ness"... So even if I did go past the deadline... I might not have even made it past the preliminaries.... His Highness Leon's honor is safe for now, thanks to you.

ZERO: No, I didn't do anything. I just wrote something down on the spot... And there's something I need to say to you too. I wanna apologize for looking into your past.

ODIN: No, I don't blame you for that. Anyone would get curious if they had to work alongside someone whose past was a total mystery. My past isn't particularly worth hiding anyway, so I wanna come clean to you.

ZERO: No, you don't need to say anything. Regardless of what your past was like, the important part is the fact that you were chosen by His Highness Leon. That fact is what matters to me. And besides, my life before His Highness took me in isn't something I can tell others either.

ODIN: ... Zero... I've always thought this, but... you really do care about His Highness, don't you?

ZERO: Not any less than you do.

ODIN: Zero... I've been thinking... constantly fighting amongst each other is the worst thing we can do for His Highness. The two of us are the ones that he chose. We should try to get along better from now on.

ZERO: Agreed.

ODIN: Great, we can begin right away.

ZERO: ?

ODIN: This time, they're developing some new armors, and they want us to think of names for them. You'll help me out, and keep me in check, right!?
