Stella Michel Roussel passed away on Thursday, February 22. She was 88, a native of Convent, LA and resident of Reserve,LA. Beloved wife of the late Nolan Joseph Roussel Sr. Mother of Nolan Joseph Roussel Jr., David Paul Roussel. Daughter of the late Sidonia Oubre Michel and Ulric Michel. Sister of Roger Michel, Margaret Dunham and the late Lilly Simoneaux, Lillian Davis, Arthur Michel, Raymond Michel, Ulric Michel, Jr. and Rene Michel. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Norte Dame Hospice for their loving care. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peters Catholic Church on Visitation at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Peter Cemetery.
