  3. The Rajneeshpuram group was a carnal, pleasure-seeking commune-cult loosely based on Buddhism and Vedic religion. They tried to take over Oregon by bussing in tons of homeless people to swing the local elections. And also tried to poison the local population by putting sewage in the drinking water, poisoning people with salmonella, and attempting assassination. It's almost divine intervention how incompetent they were; it seems that they failed to kill anyone due to all of their conspiracies being foiled or failing.

  5. There's lots of these bizarre power-hungry commune-cults that engage in biological warfare... Jim Jones' Jonestown, Shoko Asahara's Aum Shinrikyo, and Rajneeshpuram.

  7. They ALL had communist, biowarfare, sadistic, and conspiratorial elements. Isn't that bizarre?

  9. Of course, my instinct here tells me that it was the CIA behind all of these cults. You can actually see a sort of direct lineage from the hippie drug/free-love/commune cults that were engaging in a lot of the same shenanigans. And it's been coming out recently that the CIA was behind the hippie counterculture movement... so it's only reasonable to infer that they're involved with all of these similar cults that came after.
