S13 - Zombies

Wesker produced the T-Virus sample from his pocket, now half-full. “Mr. Rogan, you’ve given me the tools on this very island to perfect my creation. With this T-Virus strain and the Silver Bullet in hand, it will be simple for me to synthesize the D-Virus. This island will now be the origin for the next evolution in mankind. Aren’t you proud of your island, Mr. Rogan?”

Wesker pulled the man off the glass, turning him around and slamming him back into it. The window cracked from the force, and Joe looked out onto Fight Island. The forests were burning, buildings were crumbling, and the sounds of battle were deafening. But that wasn’t the most horrifying part. “Do you see, Joe? If I am to remain on this island while my creation comes forth, why should I not let this little game continue? I will let only the strong live to see the birth of a new world. The weak will be left behind, disposed of like the trash they are. I’ve even sampled a bit of this T-virus strain. Just to see if it works.” Wesker motioned below, where there were hundreds of bodies. They littered the ground, covered in blood and rotting away. The scariest part is that they all were moving, slowly marching towards the building.

And all across Fight Island, the dead were beginning to rise.

Wesker took in the sights. This was the end of humanity as it was known. Forced to kill each other, fighting like animals for the entertainment of others. He couldn’t imagine a more suitable ending for such a detestable lifeform.

“Mr. Rogan. I thank you again. You’ve allowed me to finally create my perfect world.” Wesker let go of his grip, allowing Joe to pry himself off of the glass.

Wesker quickly forced his hand forward, pushing Joe Rogan head-first through the window. The glass shattered as thousands of shards flew out into the open air, surrounding the flailing body of Joe Rogan. They plummeted into the mob of zombies below, his screams drowned out as he fell. Wesker watched as he disappeared into the sea of flesh, struggling the entire way.

He had never felt more joy.
