  1. Once more into the altar of the twins he found himself going. Forever was it the place he created his greatest of works and so it would remain as such. Now though he walked in not as a young Fire Herald, nor a lorekeeper, now it was as a full fledge Dragonlord. He was here within his domain at his height. What could he forge with his fire burning so bright he'd ponder and the answer came back as a whisper in the back of his mind.
  2.
  3. Anything.
  4.
  5. Lips curling into a smile the smith walked over towards the Kiln. Looking over a kiln he'd used to forge countless works of art he let out a sigh. It was humble and had be created when he was much younger. Now though? It seemed barely up to the task; well he'd make sure it held out. His gaze shifted to a few apprentices that'd lingered in the smithy barking out orders to them. Fill the kilt with fire-crystals and coal. Set it alight and raise the temperature as high as they could to prepare it for the smithing of nyeshk. To other acolytes he tasked the firing of smaller kilns for the mithril, orichalcum, and Arcanum. There was luckily two smaller kilns that'd been built a year ago to handle the increase of smiths.
  6.
  7. His gaze followed towards a few more of his apprentices. They were already grinding the needed fire crystals for the kilns and the wind crystals for the enchanting of the gloves. His gaze then shifted towards the tanning taking place nearby fresh leather finishing up for him to make the foundation of the glove. After all one had to have something so the gauntlet itself wouldn't hurt the wielder. Walking to his plans he'd go over the diagram for this specific work.
  8.
  9. The first step was to sew the leathers together into a glove which was easily down. Next would be weaving the mithril chainmail with it. Slightly harder but so long as an attention to detail was utilized it wouldn't be difficult either. After that came the nyeshk plate's which needed to be articulated in such a way as to flow evenly with the martial artists hand. Then came the etchings of windcrystal residue for the runes and a light glazing over of orichalcum.
  10.
  11. Setting down at sewing station the Dragonlord would grab a few pieces of that leather. Lining them up and starting away at the stitching was an easy thing to do. The trick was to make sure each piece was measured out to the current length. It wouldn't do for the glove to be to large or to small. Any variation would cause it to slip or worse chaff when in use! So while the metals melted and his apprentices powdered the wind crystals. Gajin spent his time over the weaver; threading delicate works together so that he'd have a pair of sturdy gloves.
  12.
  13. With the gloves finished the Dragonlord walked over towards his newly minted mythril! Pulling out the pot of molten metal he'd dump it into a prefabricated series of small divots. Which as they cooled down the smith took a small silversmith hammer to them and tonges. Hammering each one into a ring. Then he went through the painstaking efforts of combining the rings themselves and sewing them into the framework of the leather gloves. Creating a set of scaled gloves which would work as the framework for him to layer the nyeshk plates.
  14.
  15. Before that though utilizing the arcanium ingot he'd been given to make this work. Taking the new melted arcanium he took a small etching tool from his runemancy kit and went through making small etchings of arcanium channels along the silvered mithril links. Creating what would be a first step for the mana of the wielder to travel through the gauntlet and whats more important it would protect the valuable arcanium.
  16.
  17. Next came a hammering out of plates of nyeshk; creating interlocked plates that would allow for max flexibility of the wielders hands. The work was an ardous one given the nature of Nyeshk and only made easier due to the use of small chunks of nyeshk for each plate. If larger plates had been required things would have been a great deal more difficult. Yet, they weren't and so the Dragonlord's hammer rang throughout the rest of the day. Hammering to a perfect edge and ridding the plates of impurities.
  18.
  19. Along each digit the Drakanite took time to etch in a self-contained runic binding of powdered wind crystal layered with a coating of orichalcum to protect and enhance the inward runes. Creating a stronger binding through the collected articulated plates of nyeshk that would allow any damages to one piece of armor to be compensated by the next piece. It was a complicated series of runes and the pinnacle work as he weaved together the underlying runic structure built into first the leather and then the mithirl. Greating a sort of feedback loop which would help deliver power and avoid the shocks of the intense magics.
  20.
  21. Utilizing his knowledge of advanced rune-writing the Dragonlord etched the great runes'Kren'lon' along the knuckles of the gauntlets. Resonating into the runic nature of the outer plating to provide extra power to the strikes of the user. The old draconic tongue reads 'Shatter break' which is exactly what will happen to the foes of these gauntlets wielder. Upon each palm is the makers mark of a
