- VARIABLES
- Unless specified otherwise, numeric variables always start at 0.
- The first nine variables are considered your stats. The first five can be seen on the stats display, while the rest can't. For the visible stats, it's also relevant that they're restricted to a range between 0 and 100.
- Your first three visible stats are your skills. They all start at 10. Raising them is very important because they unlock many events and endings. In most cases, you'll want to raise two of them, but never all three.
- Singing: The second-most useful skill overall. The primary events for raising it are busking and karaoke.
- Dancing: The least useful skill and also the one that's the most challenging to raise. It's done by jogging and dancing.
- Charm: The most useful skill and the easiest to raise. If you're raising two skills, this should always be one of them. It can be raised by handing out flyers, busking or going to the café.
- There are two more visible stats that are both very important.
- Affection: A lot of events and endings require this to be high. The main event that can raise it is dates, but before those are available, your only event option is the café, which can only raise it slowly. If you want to get this stat high, I'd strongly suggest picking the right choices during the prologue to raise it to 20, then hunting for unique events with further choices that can raise it. Raising it becomes much easier halfway through. However, if you're not aiming for content that requires high Affection, then you can mostly ignore this stat, so long as you don't let it drop to 0.
- Stress: Technically starts at 10, but gets raised by 20 during the prologue. This is a very dangerous stat that you'll have to look out for on the large majority of playthroughs. There are a few endings that require it to be high, but for the most part, this stat locks you out of events and endings instead. Furthermore, unless you know what you're doing, never allow this stat to reach 60. It will severely reduce your ability to boost other stats and even to lower Stress. Generally speaking, Stress is raised by jogging, handing out flyers, busking and dancing. It can be lowered by sleeping in, going to the café, dates, karaoke, manga and anime.
- From here on out, stats become considerably less important. You can skip this part if you want to avoid getting spoiled on various specifics behind the game's logic.
- These remaining four stats are invisible.
- Otaku: Gets raised by 10 every time you read manga or watch anime. It's worth increasing it to 40 to unlock anime, but otherwise only relevant for some specific endings.
- Sleepy: Gets raised by 12 every time you sleep in and by 15 if the sick_kuku event occurs. It can give you Ending #12 if it becomes extremely high, but can otherwise safely be ignored.
- Internet: Gets raised by 12 every time you surf the net. Only relevant for Ending #26 and the unimportant event net6.
- Cat: Gets raised by 100 if you choose to adopt Nya in the event busk2, which unlocks playing with him. The usefulness of this event type is explained in the event section.
- These other numeric variables aren't considered stats, but the distinction isn't very important.
- day: Determines the current day. Gets raised by 1 at the start of each new one.
- karen_points: A surprisingly large number of choices affect this variable, but it's only relevant for triggering the obscure event net8 (which is mainly useful for further raising this variable) and getting Ending #25. (Unlike stats, this variable can be decreased below 0.)
- The remaining variables are flags. They're all off by default, but can be turned on.
- karen_wife: Can be turned on in the prologue by calling Karen "wifey." It gives you access to the quickest method of accessing the Bonus end. It can also be turned on in manga1, but this is pointless because this flag serves no purpose after the prologue.
- pinky_promise: Can be turned on in the prologue by making a pinky promise. Whatever purpose it was meant to serve was never implemented, so there is no reason to ever select this choice.
- stabbed: If you screw up in jog5 and are forced to skip the rest of the day, this is turned on and triggers a bit of flavor text at the beginning of the following day before. Due to a bug, this flavor text is then repeated at the start of every new day and makes it impossible to get the event you_sick.
- mahou_manga: Can be turned on in manga2 by recommending magical girl manga. It enables the unimportant event karaoke2.
- bl_manga: Can be turned on in manga2 by recommending BL manga. It enables Ending #8. Be warned that it will lock you out of both manga and anime.
- horror_manga: Can be turned on in manga2 by recommending horror manga. It enables the unimportant event net6.
- gamer: Can be turned on in net2 by recommending a rhythm or horror game. It enables Ending #5.
- dating_sim: Can be turned on in net2 by recommending a dating sim. It enables Ending #20.
- cooking: Is turned on by anime2, but doesn't do anything.
- yuri: Can be turned on in manga4 if you don't call Kuku's wish for an older sister into question. It enables Ending #22. Be warned that it will typically lock you out of the café.
- creepy: Can be turned on in net6 by reading creepypastas. It changes a bit of flavor text at the end of the day before being turned off again.
- swimsuit: Can be turned on in date1 by going to a clothes store. It enables the events jog5 (which can heavily reduce Stress) and date3, but locks you out of the event date2 (which is slightly better for boosting Affection than date3).
- necronomicon: Can be turned on in date1 by going to an antiques store. It enables Ending #26.
- rain: Can be turned on in busk4 by running home. It forces you to get the mostly harmful event you_sick the following day (which can boost your Affection, but skips the rest of the day), where it's turned off again.
- nice_flyers: Is turned on by flyers2. It increases the Charm boost of generic flyer events.
- love: Can be turned on in the prologue by expressing a fondness of cute girls. Alternatively, it can also be turned on in net8 by expressing a preference for Kuku or turned off by either of the choices that express a fondness of Karen. This is way more complicated, so just turn it on in the prologue if you want it. It enables Ending #11.
- cosplay: Is turned on by dance4. If you then get cafe5 and say that you like to dress up yourself, some of the flavor text will be different.
- go: Can be turned on in manga2 by recommending sports manga. It enables Ending #28.
- EVENT TYPES
- On every day, you can select which event types you want to partake in in the morning, afternoon and night. Each time of day has three options at first, with a fourth one becoming available while its unlock conditions are met.
- Note that if generic events are suddenly becoming less effective or even harmful, that means you messed up and failed to keep Stress below 60. These event descriptions don't cover how they behave under this condition because you're not supposed to let this happen unless you know what you're doing. If you really want to keep going, sleeping in is the only semi-decent way to reduce your Stress again. Other generic versions of Stress reduction event types are either ineffective or harmful now.
- Morning:
- Sleep in: An effective method to reduce Stress, but also reduces a random skill. Unless you don't care about any skills on your current playthrough or you plan on save-scumming to make sure it only affects skills whose reduction you can afford, avoid choosing this more than necessary.
- Go jogging: Boosts Dancing, but is not only stressful, but can also slightly reduce Affection. If you know what you're doing, you can avoid that by making sure you always meet the conditions for a unique event of this type or only choose it when you have high Affection and very low Stress. Otherwise, don't choose this more than once unless you can handle the Affection penalty.
- Hand out flyers: Boosts Charm, but is also stressful. Has an easily accessible unique event that turns it into the strongest method to boost Charm.
- Play with Nya: Unlocking this requires you to get a busk event that requires decent Singing. There, you have to choose to let Kuku keep the cat. This event type is a powerful Stress reduction method, but always slightly reduces Singing. Which is a bit awkward, considering you actually have to invest in Singing to unlock it. Compared to sleeping in, it's arguably slightly better overall once you have it, but considering you have to put some notable work into getting it (and lose out on a bigger Affection boost you could get from a different choice in the event that unlocks it), it's not really worth unlocking on the majority of playthroughs.
- Afternoon:
- Busk: Boosts Singing and Charm somewhat, but is stressful. Both of the boosts are a bit weak for a stressful event type, but considering there is no truly powerful method to boost Singing, it may still be worth occasionally choosing on a playthrough centered around this skill. For Charm, it's less important due to the availability of both a stronger (flyers) and a weaker, but non-stressful alternative that also boosts Affection (the café). Its placement in the schedule can be inconvenient however, since engaging in it robs you of opportunities to boost Affection and reduce Stress. A unique event of this type can unlock playing with Nya.
- Practice dancing: Boosts Dancing more strongly than jogging while only being equally stressful and not harming Affection. So this is usually the superior event type, though like with busking, its nature as an afternoon event type gets in the way of boosting Affection and reducing Stress.
- Hang out at a café: Reduces Stress somewhat, while providing slight boosts to Charm and Affection. It's not a whole lot, but as your only reliable method to boost Affection before dates become available, it's important regardless. Even when you don't care about Affection, the Stress reduction often still makes this worth picking. Once dates are available, this event type becomes less significant.
- Go on a date: Only available while Affection is at least 50. Provides a considerable Stress reduction and Affection boost. If Affection is important to you, you should try to get this unlocked early on. You will struggle to get the Affection necessary, only to find yourself swimming in it afterwards. It's also a welcome new option for Stress management, which becomes even more important once this event type is unlocked because after your first date, this event only works when Stress is no greater than 50 (as opposed to the usual 59 for other event types).
- Night:
- Go to karaoke: Boosts Singing and slightly reduces Stress. Considering it's non-stressful, the Singing boost is rather decent. It's a tiny bit better than the boost from busking, in fact. However, it's competing with other night event types that are somewhat better for Stress reduction. It's also worth noting that there's a unique event of this type that's relatively easy to access and forces you to reduce Affection by 5, so it can delay the unlocking of dates if you're not careful.
- Surf the net: This is an odd one. There are an impressive number of endings tied to obscure conditions involving this event type. However, most of its events offer no meaningful stat manipulation whatsoever. It's the only night event type that doesn't even usually reduce Stress. If you're in need of a single boost to Dancing, Charm or Affection to happen at night, you can choose this twice, but otherwise, this event type can be ignored entirely if you're not aiming for specific endings.
- Read manga: Provides some Stress reduction. It's okay in the early game when there's no better alternative in the night. And you should in fact choose it repeatedly on many playthroughs to unlock watching anime. After that point, this event type becomes completely obsolete.
- Watch anime: Either equally effective at Stress reduction as reading manga or better. (It's complicated because unique events are more powerful than the regular generic one.) In theory, this event type is also supposed to boost a random skill. In practice, this only works right for the generic events, with the unique ones having a bug that makes the skill selection much more complicated. Regardless, you can usually expect both Stress reduction and skill boosts from this event type, which makes it superior to reading manga and often worth unlocking early and choosing frequently.
- ENDINGS
- There are a total of 30 endings in this game. (Two are hidden extras.)
- Here are basic explanations on how to get all of them. It's assumed that you know how to unlock the hidden event types. Note that when it comes to endings that require getting specific unique events, there is sometimes a possibility that you'll also meet the conditions for a different unique event whose priority is higher, so you'll get that one instead. (In particular, you will always get the introductory event without exception the first time you select an event type, so I often won't mention that.) If you don't get the event you were expecting, try again the following day.
- Ending #1: Affection must be at least 70. There are three different routes to this ending. The first is to hand out flyers while Charm is at least 30 to have Kuku improve them. Then hand out flyers again while Charm is 100 and Singing is at least 50. The second is to busk while Singing is 100 and Charm is at least 50. The third is to dance while Dancing is 100 and Charm is at least 50.
- Ending #2: Same as Ending #1, except Affection must be below 70.
- Ending #3: Read manga and watch anime a combined total of 10 times. Then watch anime while Singing is at least 60.
- Ending #4: Busk while Singing is at least 40 to get the event that can unlock playing with Nya. (Actually unlocking that isn't necessary, though.) Then busk again while Singing is at least 80 and Charm is at least 50 and choose "It's fine. She can keep on singing!"
- Ending #5: Surf the net twice and choose either "Play a rhythm game instead." or "A horror game might be fun!" Then surf the net again while Charm is at least 70 and choose "That's a great idea!"
- Ending #6: Surf the net twice. Then do it again while Singing is at least 70 and Charm is at least 50.
- Ending #7: Dance while Dancing is at least 30 to get an event with a choice about dressing up. Then dance again while Dancing and Affection are at least 50 and choose "Inner monologue for a bit longer."
- Ending #8: Read manga twice and choose "BL is the way to go!". Then read manga again.
- Ending #9: Go to the café while Affection is at least 50 and Stress is no greater than 60 to get an event with a choice about sharing food. Go to the café again while Charm is at least 80 and Stress is no greater than 60 and choose "Of course I would! Maids are love!"
- Ending #10: Go to karaoke while Singing is at least 40 and Affection is at least 30, then choose "She's worked hard, so she should be allowed to relax."
- Ending #11: Choose "Heck yeah! Cute girls are where it's at!" during the prologue. (There is an alternative, but it's much more complicated, so I'll skip it.) Go on a date while Affection is at least 90 and Stress is no greater than 50 to get an event with a choice about food. Then go on a date again while Affection is 100 and Stress is no greater than 50.
- Ending #12: Sleep in 10 times. (Kuku getting sick also counts.)
- Ending #13: Start a day and set up your schedule while Stress is 100.
- Ending #14: Go to the café and choose "Coffee," then "Black is the way to go!"
- Ending #15: Surf the net twice and choose "Introduce Kuku to the world of MMORPGs."
- Ending #16: Sleep in while Affection is at least 20 to get an event with a choice about drawing on Kuku's face. Then sleep in again while Affection is at least 40 to get an event with a choice about Kuku seeing you in the bathroom. Then sleep in again while Affection is at least 70, choose "Touch Kuku's hair.," then either "Wake up Kuku." or "Try and wrench your hand free."
- Ending #17: Start a day after Day 3 while Affection is 0.
- Ending #18: Play with Nya while Stress is at least 70.
- Ending #19: Play with Nya twice. Play with Nya again after having gone to the café at least once and while Charm is at least 50 and choose "Well, I do like cats..."
- Ending #20: Surf the net twice and choose "No, better yet: let's play a dating sim!" Surf the net again after having read manga and watched anime a combined total of 7 times. and choose "It sounds like fun!"
- Ending #21: Watch anime twice to get an event about cooking. Watch anime again while Affection is at least 40 and Stress is no greater than 70 to get another event about cooking. Watch anime yet again after having read manga and watched anime a combined total of 7 times and while Charm is at least 80 and Singing is at least 40 and choose "I'd like you to pursue your dreams."
- Ending #22: Go to the café while Affection is no greater than 50 and Stress is no greater than 60 to get an event about a potential lesbian couple. Read manga twice. (The order of these two things doesn't matter.) Read manga again while Affection is no greater than 40 and choose either "I'm sure you'll find a big sister some day!" or "I can always be your big sister!" Go to the café again while Affection is no greater than 50.
- Ending #23: End Day 14 while Singing, Dancing or Charm is at least 50, Stress is below 70 and Affection is at least 50. Has two different versions depending on whether or not Affection is at least 70 and you didn't notably express your fondness of Karen.
- Ending #24: End Day 14 without meeting the conditions for Ending #23.
- Ending #25: Start a day and set up your schedule after having excessively expressed your fondness of Karen. (This is much easier if you select the right choices in the prologue.)
- Ending #26: Go on a date and choose "Go to an antiques store." Then surf the net after having already done so 5 times and choose "What the heck. Let's give it a go."
- Ending #27: Hand out flyers while Charm is at least 30 to have Kuku improve them. Dance while Charm is at least 40 to get an event with a choice about a stalker. (The order of these two things doesn't matter.) Hand out flyers again while Charm is at least 80 and choose "Agree to the offer."
- Ending #28: Read manga twice and choose "What about a sports series?" Read manga again after having surfed the net at least once. Surf the net again and choose "You should go* for it! *pun intended"
- Bonus end: Occurs in the prologue. There are two different versions depending on whether you get it by choosing "I'm sorry, wifey!" and "Remind Karen about your close relationship." or by picking any first choice, then "Sincerely apologize to Karen for being a screw-up.," "I can't... but I'd still like you trust me." and "I'll talk more to my idols to see how they feel."
- Dead end: Occurs in the prologue. Choose "I'm not so sure about this..." and "I think I'll have to refuse."
- Here are full instructions for example playthroughs on how to reach these endings. Note that in order to make these as RNG-proof as possible, I avoided sleeping in and watching anime as much as I could in scenarios where their randomized effects could influence the outcome. Normally, I'd make far heavier use of anime in particular. So don't take this as a guide on how to play the game well. Regardless, there are some occasions where I still require save-scumming if the RNG doesn't cooperate to ensure that things stay on track.
- Nearly all endings use a combination of choices in the prologue that awards as much Affection as possible (20). Rather than copy and paste it repeatedly, I'll just describe it once here:
- I'm sorry, Mommy.
- Beg Karen for forgiveness.
- The name rings a bell...

- Finally, there are the unique events, which make up a large portion of this section. Unlike generic events, they can only be triggered once. The first unique event of each type will always occur without exception the first time you select its event type, but later ones often have specific conditions and require having seen other unique events beforehand. If the conditions for multiple unique events are met, the one on the top of the list will be chosen. The priority orders are oftentimes weird, with some events having a higher priority than a prerequisite event, but assuming I understand the logic correctly, these are indeed the orders the events were assigned.
- Unlike generic events, unique events have no such thing as quality. As long as you get them, their effects are always the same. This is a key reason why having the right stats for good generic events isn't actually all that useful. A good example is that while the good generic event for sleeping in lacks stat penalties, you're hardly ever going to see it in practice because if you sleep in while meeting its conditions, you're also meeting the conditions for a lot of unique sleeping in events that always penalize you.
- Plenty of unique events have the same effects as their regular generic counterparts, but this isn't always the case. Unique sleeping in events reduce Stress by 10 instead of 8. Unique jogging events don't reduce Affection, but only increase Dancing by 5 instead of 8. Unique Nya events only reduce Stress by 8 instead of 10. Unique dancing events only increase Dancing by 8 instead of 10. Unique karaoke events reduce Stress by 4 instead of 3. And unique anime events reduce Stress by 8 instead of 5, in addition to having bugged RNG use that I'll explain in detail below.
