Friend

I want to tell you a story about an old friend of mine who passed away last night.
I met him five years ago, and in those five years he spent more time with me than any three of my other friends combined. We were always together, and he was the kind of friend that would make even an introvert like me want to be around him.
In five years, we probably spent over 5,000 hours together. We never became more than friends, but we would never, ever be less than friends.
I was so familiar with him that he didn’t even need to tell me he was dying. We kept spending time together like we always had, even though we knew our days together were numbered.
And last night, he died.
No matter what happens, and no matter how many new friends I get with better specs and mod capabilities, I will never forget you, PS3.
