- -----Initial D: Next Stage -Into The Future- Frequently Asked Questions-----
- Q1. *Insert praise here*
- A1. Thanks!
- Q2. At what BPM was this non-stop mixed at?
- A2. 162 BPM.
- Q3. Where can I get that version of song X at Y?
- A4. The song as just been sped up from its original BPM to 162 BPM while changing the pitch.
- Q4. Where is "The Top" by Ken Blast?
- A4. In my previous Initial D mix.
- Q5. So, you are telling me to listen to both mixes?
- A5. Yup. Both mixes completes each other very well. There are only 11 overlapping tracks.
- Q6. Was complementing the original mix done by design?
- A6. Yes and no. You see, in 2013, when I did this, 5th Stage barely started; not all soundtracks were released. So, when I chose the tracks for this mix, I tried very hard to skew towards 4th Stage and later (especially 5th Stage and Final Stage) while still including a few classics. In the end, both mixes complements each other very well.
- Q7. There's a huge lack of songs that only appears in the more recent Arcade Stage. Why is that?
- A7. I entirely based my song selection on released CD soundtracks. 'scuse me.
- Q8. Will there be another Initial D mix after this?
- A8. I'm not saying no. But, if I do, it'll be more skewed towards the Arcade Stage music (Arcade Stage 6+) that's horribly sub-represented in this mix and the previous one.
- Q9. Where did you get the full versions for Gold Night, Walking Around The Town and Shy Boy?
- A9. Gold Night is available as a single on iTunes and Spotify worldwide. As for the other two, it was on a digital compilation released by Avex called, get ready for it, "Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D: Dream Collection ~Extended Version~". Said compilation also includes Gold Night and it's available in Japanese digital stores... only in lossy AAC 320kbps. Here's a link to Recochoku, you can use a proxy or VPN to buy; they only check for IP: https://recochoku.jp/album/A2001418091/?affiliate=4350010198
- Q10. All music after Third Stage is trash.
- A10. All fans stuck in the late 90's and early 00's are trash too.
- Q11. Where is G** G** G** ??
- A11. Because of Nazi fucks, this song is forever banned from any of my future mixes. Really go and blame those fucking facists for ruining a song about racing. And I don't want to be associated with those conservative retards. The last mix I did with it was "The Best 25 Of Super Eurobeat Vol. 19 -SEB Vol. 181 to Vol. 190". And it'll stay that way.
- Q12. Space Boy 2018? I don't like this remake. The original is the best.
- A12. Ah, Initial D fanboys... Pop that bubble already. Read Q5 again and go back to the first mix if listening to the original really matters to you that much.
- Q13. Why did you use the Déjà Vu remake? I hate it!
- A13. I'm sick of Déjà Vu. At the beginning, when I selected the songs, I didn't even planned to add Déjà Vu. By the end of mixing, I figured I'd throw you guys a bone since it wasn't in Initial D World Forums Best Eurobeat Non-Stop Community Pick (it wasn't much of a meme back in 2013).
- Q14. Eurobeat Union? Get that (insert word of choice here) J-Euro out of my Initial D!
- A14. *Points to Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Dream Collection CD tracklist* That's a song on an official Avex Initial D release. I'm glad I could brush you the wrong way. Also: POP THAT GODDAMN BUBBLE. Italian eurobeat isn't the only eurobeat that exists. Also, eurobeat is eurobeat wherever it's made or by whom it's made. If you only like Travis Stebbins (ie. Odyssey, Eurobeat Brony...) because he appeared on SEB and had 2 tracks in Initial D, your self-centered narrow vision is to blame here. Those 3 songs were almost entirely written and produced almost exclusively by him and only got into SEB because DMI made Avex-approval touches and some credits faking wizardry. Yes, "When The Sun Goes Down" and "The Top" is "USA eurobeat". GASP! OH NO! What will you do?!? OH MY GOD. The truth is so freaking hard to handle, is it? On a side note, "Get The Future" by Maiko is also Japanese eurobeat. Made by Avex.
- Q15. I don't like mixes that changes the pitch. Can you remake it?
- A15. No. And why are you here? I'm known to change the pitch to get songs at a certain BPM.
- Q16. I downloaded the FLAC from your website and noticed lossy behavior for Red Hot Planet! You bad bad bad transcoder! MP3 128 can't becaomes lossless! *angry face*
- A16. I know. Blame Avex on that one. That's how it was released on Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Fifth Stage D Selection Vol.2 where I sourced the song. In retrospect, I should have sourced the song from Super Eurobeat Presents Mega NRG Man Special Collection Vol. 6 because, even at 256kbps AAC, it sounds much more better than the CD version. F.
- Q17. JD Neon is better!
- A17. I have no words. *pinches bridge over nose* Why are you even here? The door, the "X" button, is right there on your tab. Click / tap it.
- Q18. I don't have money / don't want to spend money. Can I have free downloads of all the songs?
- A18. No.
- Q19. *Insert Initial D one-sentence fanfic comment here*
- A19. I never understood these.
- Q20. What's your favorite car and/or driver and/or race and/or etc. in Initial D?
- A20. Shrug. I drive an automatic Nissan Versa if that tells you anything about my car knowledge; let alone cars, drivers and races used in Initial D.
- Q21. We thought you were a fan!
- A21. Heh. I watched the 4 first stages... ONCE. I'm here for the music more than anything else.
- Q22. Have you ever received a ticket for speeding?
- A22. For the 9 years I've been driving (as of writing this), no. The only official ticket I had was an illegal parking ticket because I was parked on the street during a winter night.
- Q23. Who asked those questions?
- A23. Myself. And rain197 also came up with some as well.
