  1. Your eyelids peel open, the sun’s rays piercing into your pupils. You lean forward and sigh, your head feeling like a lead brick as you move about.
  2. You check the time on your phone, and it reads 8AM. You look outside and see Sayori walking down the street towards your house. You groan and get out of bed, tossing your uniform on and opening your bedroom door.
  3. Sayori walks right through the door and stops when she sees you. “Gosh Anon, we’re gonna be late again!”
  4. “Ah, you’re right Sayori, sorry. I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night, was thinking about some stuff.”
  5. “Well that’s alright, but we have to go!”
  6. You and Sayori walk to school together. Sayori walks beside you, a skip in her step and a smile on her face.
  7. “You seem like you’re in a good mood.”
  8. “Ehehe.~ Well, that’s because I’m feeling really good today!” Sayori wears a huge grin on her face, her aura beaming outward.
  9. “Is that right? I’m glad to hear it.” You flash her a smile, then look away. You try not to think about the fact that you basically messed with her head last night. Even though it worked out alright, you still have trouble brushing it from your mind.
  10. You make it to school, and Sayori waves you off. “Bye Anon, I’ll see you at club!”
  11. “Alright, I’ll see you soon.” You wave Sayori off and enter the classroom.
  12. All throughout the school day you ponder your newfound powers. You try to think of all the different ways they can help you, and everything you can do to keep Danlet from finding out if he hasn’t already.
  13. You write down something for your poem for club today. You try to keep things simple, yet still ending with a powerful message. Hopefully she’ll like it, you thought to yourself.
  14. The school day ends, and you get to club. You open the door to find that it’s completely empty, void of any Doki in sight.
  15. You look around, sigh, and take out a book. You close your eyes and work your magic. The book morphs in your hands, and you feel a small electric shock hit the book. You imagine in your head the first chapter of One-Punchman, its exact number of pages and the content on each one. The feel of the paper, the smell of a freshly printed book, and the feeling of laminated cover hits your senses as you open your eyes.
  16. In your hands lies exactly what you imagined, and you lift open the cover. Right as you do so, Natsuki walks through the clubroom door, and glances at the manga you’re reading.
  17. “Hey.” Natsuki pulls up a chair next to you and sits down. “I’ve never seen that one before, is that new?”
  18. “It’s been out for a little while, it’s one of my favorites.”
  19. “If you’ve read it before, how come you’re reading the first chapter again?”
  20. “Do you not go back and read the old chapters every now and then?”
  21. “Not usually, no.” Natsuki shrugs.
  22. A couple of minutes pass, and you notice Natsuki is sitting awkwardly in her chair. She’s leaning backwards trying to sneak peeks of your book. You grin and tilt the book a little bit. She leans further back in her chair, causing you to giggle.
  23. “Hey! You’re doing that on purpose!”
  24. “Only because you’re funny to watch.” You turn to her. “If you wanted to read with me, you could’ve just asked.”
  25. “Well!” Natsuki stops and you chuckle.
  26. “Caught up in your words a bit?”
  27. “It’s just” Natsuki swallows. “A little embarrassing, is all.”
  28. You scoot your chair over to her. “W-what are you, why are you getting so close-“
  29. “Relax, I just want to read with you. You wanted to read some, right?”
  30. Natsuki’s shoulders relax a bit, and she turns to you. “M-Maybe…”
  31. You chuckle to yourself and open the humble book. You flip through the pages when Natsuki gives you the okay, scanning the pages together and laughing at the silly nature of the series.
  32. “Huh, you know I never usually get into these kinds of manga, but this one really stuck out.”
  33. “Glad you liked reading with me so much.”
  34. You smirk and Natsuki’s cheeks flush red “W-well it’s not like I-“
  35. You chuckle and hold a hand up to her. “Relax, it’s fine. You tend to overthink things a lot, don’t you?”
  36. Natsuki pouts a bit. “It’s just because, well…”
  37. Natsuki looks away. “Don’t worry about it, It’s not that important anyways.”
  38. You pause for a moment. You think of all the different causes for the way she is, her father, her friends or lack thereof.
  39. “What? Why are you looking at me like that, you’re kind of creeping me out…” Natsuki backs up a bit, scooting her chair across the wooden floor.
  40. “Ah, sorry. I won’t pry, so if you’re not comfortable, I understand. We did only just meet, after all.” You offer her a smile and her cheeks flush once more.
  41. She takes a deep breath, then sighs. “…Thanks. You’re really nice, you know that?”
  42. “I try.”
  43. “I mean it. I really respect whatever you did for Sayori, you’re an alright guy.”
  44. Natsuki flashes you a toothy grin as the door to the club swings open. The other club members start coming in one by one, with Monika bringing up the rear.
  45. “Well, we better get ready to share poems.”
  46. “Oh yeah, I forgot we’re doing that now.” Natsuki digs through her backpack.
  47. “Wanna share ours together first? We’re already together after all.”
  48. “Sure, why not. Be ready to get the pants blown off you though, because you’re looking at the work of a genius.”
  49. Natsuki looks up from her bag, retrieving a worn piece of paper, and flashes you another fanged smile.
  50. She hands you the poem, and you unfold it, skimming through it’s contents. You read about Amy and her spiders, while Natsuki reads yours.
  51. After you two are finished, she sets down your paper.
  52. “Ok, let’s start with the things I don’t like!”
  53. She hides her worried eyes with a wide grin, but your experience with the game is able to see right past it.
  54. “Was it that bad?”
  55. “Well no, but…”
  56. Natsuki groans a bit… “I feel kind of shown-up now…”
  57. You feel a pain in your heart. You knew exactly what to write for her, but tearing her ego down was the last thing you wanted to do.
  58. “If yours had been bad I’d feel a lot more comfortable about mine!”
  59. You sigh as Natsuki crosses her arms.
  60. “Would you feel any better if I said I wanted to impress you with it?”
  61. She looks up at you, surprised. “You… wanted to impress me?”
  62. “Yeah. You seemed like one of the more talented poets in here, I figured I should try pretty hard to mimic your style.”
  63. Natsuki pauses for a bit, a grin creeping back on to her face. “Well, well good! I’m glad at least someone recognizes good talent when they see it! Tell you what Anon, your poem wasn’t half bad! It could use some work, but definitely a solid love letter to the master herself.”
  64. Monika perks up and looks dead at you. You look back at her and shrug while Natsuki’s eyes are closed in praise.
  65. “Anyway, there is some stuff you could work on. It did seem a bit too simplistic, even for my tastes.”
  66. “Good to know, thanks Natsuki!”
  67. “A master is always willing to teach her students!” She giggles, the faintest bit of blush still on her cheeks.
