External 5 TB USB boot problem.

  1. The system will not boot. It tries to come up it goes immediately to grub-rescue. Trying to rescue the system from the DVD. I have tried.

  10. 8. chroot /hdroot

  12. 10. grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
  13. 11. grub2-install /dev/sda
  14. 12. grub2-install --force /dev/sda1
  15. 13. grub2-install --force /dev/sda2

  20. I then boot from DVD using boot linux system or what ever the title is.
  21. I choose the boot and initrd, then choose the root device /dev/md/hdroot
  22. The system comes up normally.
