Osprey and Yang: Osprey vs Pyrrha!! Battle of the Aces!!!

Back in the arena, the bell rings out to start the match with Pyrrha taking control from the start with a command. "Jump Javelin!" Achilles jump in the air and chuck his spear down towards Iori who backflips out of the way. As soon as Achilles land on the ground next to his spear, Osprey issues out his order. "Sable Wave!" Iori creates black flames on his hand and slash towards the ground, creating a crest of fire toward the Chariot who slash through the flame, making it evaporate. Only for Iori to scream as he leaps towards him with his jaw wide open for a Wild Fang. His jaw crunch on his spear with Achilles holding him off before swinging his lance and knocking him off of it to the ground.


The match so far is even as Iori get up to avoid a Hoof Stomp from Achilles's fore legs and dodge-roll backwards to avoid an upward swing. "(We have to stay close, closer than that Chariot can react with his lance.)" Osprey frowns while watching Iori struggling to get past Achilles's lance, doing anything he could with leaps in, rollings, and more. But Achilles is just keeping him away from him at such a distance. "Iori won't get any closer than he is to Achilles." Pyrrha taunts him from across the arena, with Achilles landing a Smash on Iori's chest that send him flying to a rock as he land on his belly and get up scowling at the Chariot. "And he won't be beating him today either."


"....Don't get too cocky.." Osprey hmphs as he watches Iori getting into his combative stance, leaning forward with one foot out and his left hand lower as his right hand is raised up behind him. "We're just getting started.." Iori sprints towards Achilles with enough force to kick off some of the turf underneath him as he screams wiith fury in his eyes. "Wild Slash!" Iori crouches and leap upward with a downward slash, blocked by Achilles and his lance. But this is what Osprey wanted with his next command. "Grab the lance and vault with Wheeling Axes!" As Iori begin to swing himself over the lance, Pyrrha smirks, thinking of a counter just now. "Achilles, take Iori for a spin."


Achilles grunts and hold his lance above him, making Iori miss with his attack. Soon after, Achilles begin to spin his lance extremely fast above his head making Iori scream as he struggles to hang on for dear life before letting go and flying to the ground. As he's set flying through the air, Achilles aim his spear at Iori set to throw. "Now!" Pyrrha call out as he throws the lance at Iori. But Osprey react fast with his own command. "Do a barrel roll!!" Iori sees the lance and spin in the air, barely avoiding the lance as it sails past him. He fall down on the ground and awaits for Osprey's next command that comes quickly. "Now, Fire Charge while Achilles's defenseless!" Iori curls into a ball and ignites on black fire as he begin to spin in place and soon launch himself on the ground towards Achilles. Despite the danger the Chariot seems to be in, both him and his trainer are calm about their situation. "(Why are they just standing there with no care in the world?)" As Osprey ponders this, he sees Achilles holding his hand up and suddenly Osprey felt the wind being cut as the lance suddenly flies right past his head and straight towards Iori who is unaware of it. "Shit, Iori! Behind you!"

Never has Osprey been so pressed in a battle before until now as Iori(Defying physics and logic) notices the lance coming right behind. The Zabel merely make a sharp turn towards his right, heading towards the trees and believing that it's not behind him no more...when he hears the cries of Osprey. "It's homing in on you!" Iori begin to go faster as he make turns between the trees, both igniting the forest on fire and trying to get the lance off his trail. He leaves the smoldering forest with the lance still behind him.  Osprey hatches up a plan and nod to himself. "(Let's see who's faster..)" "Iori, head towards Achilles and jump at him when you get closer!"


Iori charges towards Achiles with his lance hot behind him with Pyrrha staring at the action. "(I'm surprised he didn't asked how Centaurs can control their lances with enough INT, but his that's fine...his plan here won't work whatever it is.)" "Achilles! Call back your lance now!" The Chariot shouts through his helmet as his lance propels faster to his hand, past Iori as he grabs it and spin it around before holding it out in front of him. "And now use Cross-Slash!" A blue light shines on Achilles's body for a moment before he shouts and swing downward just as Iori leaps at him. The first slash stops Iori in the air as Achilles soon swing horizontally with a blue cross forming in the air that sends Iori flying to a rock, lodged into it. The crowd loses their shit cheering for Pyrrha and Achilles.

"...." Osprey watches with a stoic look with Iori falling out of the rock and on his knees panting in pain. As opposed to Achilles who haven't really got hit at all during the match. He look over for a moment to the right and seeing Jaune, Lie Ren, and Nora cheering on for Pyrrha as across from them and in the dugout, his friends have a mixed of worried and agitated looks, all of them cheering on for Osprey. All except for Yang who look at him with a calm look. The twins stare at each other for a moment with Osprey soon blowing his hair in front of his face and smirking at her. "(Playtime's over...)" )Yang muses with her own smirk as she turn her attentions to her friends. "Damnit!!" Rhiannon slams her hands on the edge of the dugout with a scowl. "How the hell is Osprey's losing?!?" "Pyrrha just seem to be one step ahead of him.." Edelgard frowns, not liking what she's seeing within this match. "And each time, she make it count.."

"C'MON OSPREY!!" Mythra screams her lung out while slamming her hands over and over on the edge of the dugout. "YOU CAN WIN, IORI IS NOT WEAK!!!"

"You can do it, Iori!!" Pyra joins in as well, hoping that all of their cheers can boost the Zabel up. Ruby on the other hand, doesn't look as worried as she should be. She know that Iori and by extension, Kyo(Who doesn't look concerned at all, watching with a focused look and crossed arms while standing on the bench next to a sitting Yang.) are far, far stronger than they appear to be. "(This shouldn't be that much of a challenge to Iori. I know It's weird for me to admit that I may lose to Yang, but I have seen what those Garus can do...and this is not close to Iori's true level..)" She soon get out of her stupor as Mythra turn her harsh scowl to both Ruby and Yang "HEY, WHY AREN'T YOU TWO CHEERING ON FOR OSPREY?!? HE'S YOUR OLDER BROTHER AND THEREFORE, YOU SHOULD BE YELLING LOUDER THAN ALL OF US COMBINED!!" Ruby stammers a bit, caught offguard by the sudden yelling before Yang yawns and stands up. "Cause Osprey was holding back as usual."

"I-i'm sorry?" Mythra blinks from confusion and was about to yell again before Blake speaks up with a calmer tone. "Yang, you're saying that  Osprey's not treating Pyrrha as serious?" The idea of someone sandbagging Pyrrha was....well, it was absurd to say the least with Yang shaking her head. "No, he's taking it seriously, but he also seeing how good Pyrrha is before he decides to beat her."

"Wait, so he's downloading her?" Rhiannon raise an eyebrow and continues. "He's treating this like it's all a game..." "That's cause it is to him...and me." Yang turn her attention to Iori as the other girls with their monsters do the same. "And right now, this game is about to turn in Osprey's favor..." She smirks, waiting for the show to begin


"You know.." Pyrrha speaks from the field towards Osprey with a frown. "When I first heard of you months ago, I was expecting someone on my level of skill or at the very leats, close enough to make me and Achilles sweat."She huffs as Achilles watches Iori stand before him, looking disgrunted with pain. "But from what I gathered here, you're just an overrated trainer who had some lucky breaks.."

"...." Osprey stand there silently, his hair covering the front of his face as Pyrrha continues her degrading speech on him. "And to think that Princess Lucina was interested in you..."_ She shakes her head, frown still on her face as the crowd mutter from this juicy gossip that was revealed. Up in the noble box, Lucina sighs as she can feel the gazes from both her parents and her sister Severa. "(Goddamnit, Pyrrha...)" "Lucina..." She hears her mother's disapproving tone of voice. "Have you been seeing the Branwens?" "....."She turn and see her dad watching and speak up for her. "She told me she came across him while shopping, they merely spoke about monsters is all." "I didn't asked you, did I, Chrom?" The king gulps as his wife stare at him before turning back to Lucina waiting for her answer. "...I'll tell you after the tourney, mom." Lucina can feel the growing headache coming from the future convo.


"....You will lose here to me, and you won't sully the honor of Ylisse anymore." Pyrrha scowls as Osprey breath in and out before glaring at her. "...You talk way too much, you know?"
"What?" Pyrrha tilts her head at him, not expecting that answer with Osprey pointing at her. "Do not think for a moment that you were in control for this match. I merely was assessing your skill." "Oh?" She scowls at him with her hands on her hips. "And what did you come to? Me being your superior?" Osprey chuckles darkly and shakes his head. "No, not close at all. I'll be honest and say that you're skilled, I can see why the nation loves you...but I'm on a whole other level, and so is Iori." He turns to Iori who's staring at him with a look that waits for a command.

"Iori....go."

Iori nods and smirks at Achilles as he begin to sprint towards the Chariot, Pyrrha looking bored and annoyed. "Seriously? The same strat? You lost it...Achilles, get ready for another Cross-Slash." But as Achilles get into his stance for the attack, Suddenly Iori disappears from sight! "Wh-what?!?" Pyrrha only had time to exclaim that word as instantly Iori appears and slam an elbow on the sides of Achilles, making him spit saliva from his helmet as the Zabel disappears again out of sight. And appears above him, with a heel kick on the back of Achilles's horse leg, and then disappears again.

"What the hell is this?!" Pyrrha can only watch as her Chariot gets speed blitzed by Iori from all different directions and attacks, Achilles tries to defend himself with his swings only for Iori to always dodge at the last second and then counter-attack from a different spot. "What the hell is Iori doing?!" Pyrrha loses part of her cool with Osprey tucking his hands in his coat and with a calm look, explains. "As you may not be able to tell, Iori is part Zan, Zans are extremely fast, noted to be the fastest species known to mankind." While he explains, Iori stops in front of Achilles some yards away, smirking as suddenly the one who looks distraught with pain and anger in his eyes is Achilles as opposed to the smug look of Iori who crosses his arms.

"Now Iori isn't as fast as pure Zans..." "(I lie.)" "He's still fast enough to phase in and out of your sight and Achilles along with almost everyone here who isn't a skilled trainer and attack your monster." Iori backflips before leaping forward with his foot out and land it on Achilles's chest, making him spit up blood as he is sent flying through rocks and land right before Pyrrha, slowly getting up in agony.

"And since Iori's a Garu, you know for sure that he's pretty strong..." Iori hold a hand out and ball it to a fist with a sneer with Achilles hitting the ground of the arena, pissed beyond belief with Pyrrha sharing his anger as she untie her ponytail and sighs with anger-filled eyes aimed at Osprey. "So this whole time, you were making a fool out of me...How da-" "How dare I?" Osprey scowls at her as he point in the dugout towards Mythra who blinks "How dare you use more than enough power to harm Mythra's Hikari? To the point where she could had died or retired far too early?" Pyrrha could only stare at shock while Mythra could only squee to the point of passing out with the fact that Osprey was fighting on her behalf, her body caught by a comically hysterical Pyra.


"You..." Pyrrha shakes her head and scowl. "..I see..So you are capable of having a lover..." "She's not my Girlfriend.."And just like that, Mythra's body shivers as if she just had a bad moment in her dream. "But I do cherish her." Only for her to sighs in bliss with a wide smile, Ruby and the others besides Yang who don't care facepalming at her. "And to do that to my friend..." Osprey slowly remove his red coat and let it drop to the ground as the entire crowd get a shot of his very ripped body behind his thin red black shirt with no sleeves.  "You will pay dearly."

"Good fuck, your brother's shredded..."Rin licks her lips unconsciously with Edelgard covering her nose from a nosebleed. "I..I need a towel!" Wilhelm hands her one, ever the obedient monster while Blake's pants are getting wetter by the moment, even Pyra began to understand why her sister lust for him. "(I understand, sister...I truly understand now.)"

Up in the noble box, Lucina's years of nobility training came through as she just don't react on the outside to this. But on the inside, her inner pervert was losing her mind screaming about how she wants his babies. She look and see Severa's blank face. Showing that she have lost her mind with the sight before her. "....Lucina..." Cordelia call out to her daughter. "While I don't condone your choosing of a man here...I understand why."

"Moooooom..." She groans with a facepalm with Chrom pondering if having a Branwen marrying his kid would be worth the trouble..


"I'm not gonna let you win this, Achilles! Let's go!!!" She rears her head to the sky with her hands by her sides balled into fists. "CAESAR'S CHARGE!!!" Achilles shout loudly as the similar red light cover his body with the sphere coming around his body as he begin to sprint towards Iori. Osprey smirks at this. "I see someone wanna have a dramatic finish...fine with me..." He thrust both of his hands in front of him with the palms facing out with his right hand above his left. "Iori!!! Sable Slash!!" _Iori's eyes widen as he roars to the sky before crouching and sprinting towards Achilles with his right hand covered in black flames. Both monsters are set-on in a collision course. "(That fool thinks he can stop Caesar's Charge? Doubtful...)"

But as Pyrrha watches the monsters get closer, Achilles thrust his lance at Iori who dodges it at the last second...leaving his chest wide open for a upward slash covered in black flames. "It's over..." Osprey comments as Iori thrusts his hands into Achilles's chest and with a loud roar, slash upwards with 3 huge lines of fire rising to the sky off of Achilles's chest from the attack with him flying to the air and landing on his side KO'ED with some fire spilling out of him with some blood as well. The crowd is silent as Pyrrha blinks rapidly, unable to comprehend what she have just seen. "Wh-what?...what the hell?"

Only the sounds of the announcer telling the crowd that Iori won makes them erupts to cheers at the sight with Osprey picking up his coat and heading to the dugout while putting it on with Iori behind him as the medical team pick Achilles up with a shocked Pyrrha standing in the ring, not moving or responding before Jaune run to her and shake her out of it before she sprints after her monster, tears flowing out of her eyes.

Osprey watches her run off and shrugs as he turns to his cheering friends. "(She lost cause of one simple reason...)" He glances at Mythra's sleeping form and soon to Yang who hold a hand up high for them to do a high-five. "(She pissed me off.)"
