  1. When I wake up, in the woods, I noticed my stuff is literally covered in blood. It takes awhile to collect my thoughts of what happened, and what my memories of this place are. It would seem that my past is one of great sorrow, as The Darkness left myself an orphan, and dedicated myself to hunting those that go bump in the night. I don on my adventuring gear, it's best to blend in. The breeches were form fitting, but still comfy. The leather vest and undershirt that can only be described as sweater-like. Over top of this is my leather coat, and lastly my tricorn hat.
  2.
  3. Yet things changed when Dracula won, and turned off the lights. Great, so I have to go by candlelight, which I use my Light magic from Magi to make it real bright. Daring those to find me, as I walk through the woods. The woods feel fine, and I would love stay in them. However there doesn't seem to be much food. I come across a cabin, no.. more like a chateau.
  4.
  5. I checked to see if anyone was in, and who's come around lately via the tracks of the land. Nothing but paw prints from wolves and deer tracks, old though. So it wouldn't do me any good. I hesitantly creep in, with a gabriel's blade drawn and towards the source of light. The chair turned, and there was a beautiful woman in the chair. Her face was look of surprise and boredom at same time. She looked right at me, as if her eyes could cut through anything. Then smiled, and introduced herself, "Greetings, Hunter. It's been awhile since anyone has tried to hunt me. I'm in a sour mood and let's this be quick."
  6.
  7. I didn't move, and was confused. How did she hear me? I was deathly silent, and she wasn't making a word before. I yelled out, "Hunt you? Why? I just wish for some food. Which I can get if you'd allow me to use your door. Any door." Her smile turned into a smirk as she glides towards me, then circling me. She reached out and took sniff my hair, and felt my skin. If this was some sort of seduction thing, I had NO clue what was going on. That was last thing on my mind, but she was lovely... too lovely.
  8.
  9. She stopped for a minute as if looking confused. She asked, "Your scent, or your lack of. Your not a construct, and yet only scent was dog. You intrigue me hunter." She moved by fireplace and put on what can best describe as a seduction routine. It was a jest on her part, or I hope, because she started laughing. "I guess you're not going to fall for that old trick, perhaps you could be useful." I didn't see her movements and she was already on me, wrapping her arms around me. I pushed her off, but I felt the power behind her. She pouted a bit, before laughing. "Yes, you will do fine." I asked, "What?". Which she replied, she needed someone to protect her from the brides of Dracula.
  10.
  11. I never got her name that time, but she regaled a story about how she was to be one of Dracula's brides. Yet she spurned the advances of Dracula, and for that she made an enemy of her to be sister wives. When asked, what was she doing in middle the woods, she said that it was her last safe house; and that she was packing up to leave for Russia.
  12.
  13. "Why Russia?" I ask, trying not to stare at her most prominent feature, which she so daringly flaunts with her style of dress or lack there of. "Why, my dear hunter. It's the last safe place for those who oppose Dracula." Has she had absently twirled her fingers around her hair. Her movements, manner of speech, and fashion statements; they all point to this woman is an excellent manipulator of men. The flash of two fangs, and the porcelain doll skin had tipped me off that this woman was a vampire.
  14.
  15. "Why would a vampire go against it's own kin?" I grip on my Gabriel's Stars, the razor buzzbladed weapon is useful for cutting just about anything. If she was truly a vampire, she might be wishing for a fight. "Like humans, we have differences of options." She says as she disappears down a basement of stairs, only to reappear with a small handbag, and a change of clothes. How she managed to change her outfit so quickly? I thought to myself. Her new outfit was almost the same as mine, minus the plunging neckline.
  16.
  17. We quickly set off on a horse drawn carriage. The horses weren't ordinary horses, and they practically flew across the land. Unfortunately trouble has plagued us, if it wasn't the deitizens of the night; it was the Brides of Dracula. Their disguises were that of beautiful women, equal to my own companion whom I never bothered to ask her name. She refers to me as Hunter, and I to her as Woman or Vampire. At least she likes my PokeDogs.
  18.
  19. We travelled across the ocean by same carriage. The darkness has frozen over the oceans, creating a true ice age. When we reached somewhere in Europe, we picked up another complication. His name was "Albert von Hellstrom" and he was determined to prove his worth. Not by killing Vampire, but me! He was dispatched rather easily. However he was just one of a handful of groups or individuals that tried the same thing.
  20.
  21. While traveling across Europe, between dispatching other groups and fending off Brides of Dracula, Vampire opened up. She says her name issue Duchess Utarefson, and that Dracula gave her the curse in attempt to make her one his wives. Being a strong willed woman, she didn't bend to anyone's will. Not even the King of the Damned himself. This was impressive, I never heard of such a thing but while he let her go; the wives were jealous that He would pick a fourth bride.
  22.
  23. The Brides are all sisters, triplets. So it's no wonder they scorn at the idea of Him marrying another. I told her that I was a traveller of worlds, and this is just one such world. I told her of just the three previous worlds, but left out that they were the only three; besides Earth. Finally it seemed like ages, when we arrived in Russia.
  24.
  25. Here we made a valiant last stand against The Brides. It wasn't easy, but they were dealt with, staked, and beheaded for good measure. We were accepted into the last settlement on this world. I worked side, by side with Utarefson as her voucher.
  26.
  27. She set up a small business, selling tools of the trade. I wasn't much interested in it. Indeed my time here ended on a sour note. After all this time, Uta tried to pull the same routine she pulled when I first met her. I told her that, the only reason she was still alive, was because I was wanting adventure. That the old song & dance routine might affect other men, but I wasn't interested in her in that manner.
  28.
  29. She wouldn't have no for an answer, something snapped in her. I think it was her humanity finally eroding. It was Entei & Arcanine who torched her, before she could attack. I buried her ashes in an unmarked grave. She would've been an excellent companion.
  30.
  31. When it was time to leave, I said my final goodbyes. At least I still have my Pokedogs.
