- Grace is a street racer on the open road whose car runs on....people. Arthur is a cop trying to make a better world everyday. They get thrown together into a race, an event from Los Angeles to Phoenix which the loser losing their lives. Along the way they encounter psychos, freaks and innocents. Arthur wants to do right, but the rules don't allow his moral code to exist. Grace finally convinces Arthur, it's a do or die race. They must band together or forfeit their lives. Will they finish last only to die? Will Grace do anything to win? Who feeds the car next?

- The first episode was everything I could have possibly asked for. Purely amazing! And Julian Slink is one of the most riveting characters I've ever seen on TV - like Hannibal Lecter, the Mad Hatter and Mystery Man (from Lost Highway) had a baby together.<br/><br/>I can't wait to see next week's episode. I love this show!
- **CLEAN AND NO SPOILERS**<br/><br/>I know what Grind house is, I actually have a a healthy respect for it. When done right it can be brain candy, something so over the top and fun and stupid at the same time you can't help but laugh and smile over it.<br/><br/>It's not meant to be weighty. After watching the 1st episode I thought...OK they got the bombastic attitude right. They got the stupid ideas right, the sex right. It's a real life "itchy and scratchy" cartoon for adults. So why don't I like this? Maybe I don't care for senseless violence since we have so much of it in real life. Maybe because of I've seen all these ideas done before, only much better and in better movies and shows. It's derivative for something that is derivative by it's very nature.<br/><br/>Maybe it's just the actors are "B" and "C" level at best (and I'm being generous) and this is probably the most steady paycheck they will ever make. Maybe its all the characters are stock and you really don't care about any of them.<br/><br/>Even when you have a scene where the actors are meant to bond...you don't care.<br/><br/>Watch an episode or three and judge for yourself...it could be worse, but I'm not sure how.
