+ Ilseong is eccentric to say the least. He is on the older side of trainees so in order to keep up with the younger ones he has a youthful personality that makes him seem younger than he actually is. He tends to over exaggerate everything and makes the smallest things a big deal. He's really emotional so he finds generic things really fascinating and gets way too excited. For example, when he first came to Seoul he was obsessed with the automatic water filters because he'd never seen one before. He kept pressing the button just to watch the water come out. He'll rush to show everyone around him his new discovery.

Ilseong isn't afraid of meeting new people. He is very forward in his friendliness and tries to introduce himself to people but they usually just think he's really weird because he's like a child stuck in a man's body. He's the type to go and huge a stranger. Even so, he can be mature when he needs to be. He's constantly worrying about the younger contestants and making sure they're ok.

+ When Ilseong was a kid he wanted to be a surgeon. He never even thought about going into the idol industry. He grew up in a small town so dreams were a bit hard to fulfill but he kept pushing. He worked so hard but he just wasn't cut out for it. The first time he saw someone being cut open he get sick and had to leave the room. All of his dreams were crushed. How could he be a surgeon if he got sick at the sight of blood. It was pathetic. Ilseong fell into a deep depression after that. He had spent a good portion of his life studying and now that was all down the drain.

It wasn't until he began singing that he was pulled from his stupor. His friend took him to karaoke one night. A couple heard him and told him that he was a natural. He blossomed under the praise. He then began practicing and practicing and practicing, teaching himself how to sing. At first it was just a hobby but slowly Ilseong realized that this is what he wanted to do with his life.
