  1. Character Name: Katakura Kojuurou
  2.
  3. Series: Sengoku BASARA
  4.
  5. Age/Year/Job: 28/Teacher of Agriculture
  6.
  7. Biography: Kojuurou is a child of the Katakura clan that owns a prestigious farming company. He was often teased by his older, and somewhat arrogant brother, as well as told that his personality made him a terrible successor. Kojuurou never had a particular interest in taking up the family business -- he was more interested in becoming a doctor.
  8. He befriended a young boy by the name of Masamune, who at birth lost sight in his right eye. The closer Kojuurou got to him, the more he felt responsible for him. He took it upon himself to go to Masamune's father and request that he be taken to a hospital for removal of the eye. Moved by Kojuurou's actions, he was asked to have Masamune entrusted to him while lying on his death bed. From then on, he has lived with the boy into his high school years. Their relationship is that of never leaving each other's side.
  9.
  10. Abilities: He's human, but since he's a samurai originally, keeping his skills as a swordsman sounds appropriate. Kojuurou's also left-handed (because that's totally worth mentioning.)
  11.
  12. Personality Traits: Upon first meeting, one could easily peg Kojuurou as a noble, level-headed individual. He presents himself as very organized and reserved, as well as observant and appreciative of the little things in his life. He knows where his priorities lie, and his responsibilities. One of those responsibilities often involves looking after his ward like hawk, but in the long run, he lets Date do what he wants. He has faith in the decisions of the other.
  13. In conflict, Kojuurou is best described as a mediator. He is open to everyone's ideas, and not once will he judge unless asked (or if he thinks an opinion is so farfetched that it's just not possible.) Peaceable, he is not an easy person to piss off so long as you don't threaten his way of life. As a teacher, he takes the utmost care in looking after his students and showing them his passion, eager to get them to enjoy it just as much as he does. While he might have had a distaste for taking the family business, he has always had a love for gardening and even tends one in his own home.
  14. Aside from gardening, Kojuurou is also well-versed in other topics. He likes cooking, geography, history (particularly the Sengoku period), and keeps a wakizashi sword in his home. He has skills with other weapons, but being a man of the sword is his most notable, and the one he is quietly the most proud of.
