  1. [14:56] {NARRATION} Rumor has it a week or two ago, a meteor from the far reaches of the cosmos came down and struck Eternia. While to some a sign of turmoil, to others its a sign of wealth and prosperty. Never the less, all reports state it landed in the sea.
  2.
  3. Never the less, a group of adventurers seems to have taken the call for reach their own reason. But the way is treacherous and hard, espically for it being under the sea. How will they traverse such prealious conditions. It is up to them, for this journey has just begun.
  4.
  5. [15:01] The magi placed both hands behind his waist, his features donning a frown.
  6.
  7. "Looks like I'm fucked," said Aviel, though he did not give up on his solutions.
  8.
  9. Yamani and Mori were sirenians, so they wouldn't have any problem with traveling underwater. Not to mention they must excel on underwater combat.
  10.
  11. He looked at Eztli for a moment, heaving a deep breath. Even he could easily come up with a solution, knowing his strength.
  12.
  13. "Well, fuck me," he muttered under his breath.
  14. (Aviel)
  15. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  16.
  17. [15:04] Here they were, off on another adventure; and ready to face whatever lay before them. Having been breathed many moons earlier, he had some inclination of where they would need to travel, and in this case; it was under the ocean.
  18.
  19. Joy.
  20.
  21. A glance is spared to Aviel, the only other member of the team that couldn't y'know; breath under-water. "Last time Mori dragged me an underwater adventure, I just made a large air-bubble around my head and brought down a bunch of spare bubbles as reserves,"
  22.
  23. "You're still a water-magic right?"
  24.
  25. No drowning on his watch.
  26. (Eztli Meztin)
  27. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  28.
  29. [15:04] For a meteorite to land within the sea? Perhaps had to be some of the strangest circumstances the dread pirate of the south had ever heard of. It would have been mesmerizing to the sirenian back at the academy, but now? The pirate only felt dread as a hand lightly touched the stone held within his pocket. Just how deep would they go before it alerted deep sea creatures?
  30.
  31. "....Ya' will be fine. Gettin' ya' sea-legs early is great. 'Sides. Ezlti probably has...somethin' ta' help ya'? Can't tell really but-...worse comes ta' worse? Just hold ya' breath."
  32.
  33. Was that the best solution he had? Yes, yes it was. Though gazes soon shifted towards Aviel and Ezlti. Course they had to be ready.
  34.
  35.
  36. "Da' deep calls ta' us all...Oiy, ma' underwater adventure was fine...Tch.."
  37. (Mori Reave)
  38. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  39.
  40. [15:14] Finally. The plans have been set. And the willing have went through with Yamani, Bursts of excitement welling from within the siren. Traces of meteorite were reported here once ago. And so it was that they would plan to reach there.
  41.
  42. "Mmm. It isn't a really good experience to force our surface walker friends to swim if they do not feel the need to." She spoke firmly. Rubbing her chin calmly in the process. However, a smile bloomed shortly after that comment, as a small glimmer in her eyes would form.
  43.
  44. She would dive into the deep ocean waters within. Her true sirennian features would come forth. Her barracuda form taking precedence in only mere moments. Slowly, she would gather around deep wind currents around her body causing the temperature of the water above her to lower...
  45.
  46. Gradually, Ice would form above the submerged siren. Giving the surface walkers a pathways for them to easily move through. Depite the transition of wind to Ice being slow, shewould continue to push through with her advances, hoping to peform the ability much swifter whilst she moves.
  47.
  48. But with that. She would create a burst of speed, as a huge ice platform would swiftly harden over her as she swam. Creating a land of Ice for the landwalker few, (if they were feeling brave) to slide upon. She would look behind as she pusher onwards Slipping her head out of the water to call towards the few.
  49.
  50. "Both of you. Land upon the ice and slide. The Ice should be strong enough to hold you two, but not permanently." She cautioned, as she could not continue large flows of Glacial mana for an extended period of time. If they were going to benefit from such a thing..
  51.
  52. It would be best for the two to decide swiftly.
  53. (Yamani)
  54. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  55.
  56. [15:18] He glanced at Mori with a sigh before nodding his head. Just how scary was the deep that it seemed even the present captain of the Deep Company seemed anxious?
  57.
  58. "Gotcha," said Aviel in response to the sirenian before looking at Eztli.
  59.
  60. "And that seems like a good idea," he said before flicking his finger, his head slowly encased with a bubble of water. At the same time, a dozen of bubbles spun about him, taking his friend’s advice; the extras.
  61.
  62. He was still a water magi and just like his companions, a master as well, having mastered the element’s most difficult spell. At least, the spell common to many.
  63.
  64. But thankfully, with Yamani's magic, a pathway was created.
  65.
  66. Aviel smiled in appreciation without hesitating for the slide. However, his bubbles of water remained, just in case.
  67. (Aviel)
  68. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  69.
  70. [15:25] {NARRATION} Indeed, for those who couldn't breathe underwater this adventure would've been a problem. Death, or retreat would've been the only option to them less they came up with a creative solution.
  71.
  72. Yet it seemed that they did. Pockets of air and an ice slide would serve as their way of transportation for now. But for how long could the siren keep it up?
  73.
  74. Not only that, what lurked under the waves? Surely something was down there, right? For the Giants that lurk their seek the calls of Jourmangander.
  75.
  76. But luckily, there would nothing like that in their way. They could travel in peace.
  77. [15:54] Slowly the group would slowly and surely close the distance between sea and land. However the stresses between using the tempests to convert the water into platforms of ice were slowly getting towards her. Her Baracuda esque form was meant for short bursts of speed..
  78.
  79. Not for an extended amount unlike the sharkskin. She would look towards the Mori with a heavy look of worry. Fear that she would soon approach her limit, and more so sooner than later upon that trip. "M-Mori, Eztli, Aviel.. I may have bitten off a bit more than I could chew."
  80.
  81. She stated. As her bursts of speed would descend into paces of stamina. Struggling to push the platforms to a sizeable distance. Continuing to fight against the air resistance that she created to form the platforms of Ice.
  82.
  83. Her eyelids closed, her vision completely black as she pushed the platforms of Ice to their limits. Failing whilst she had a burden to deal with wasn't an position that the siren enjoyed. Visible signs of anger and irritation would be visible under the translucent Ice.
  84.
  85. "Shark Spirit... I call upon you for strength Feel how I feel.."
  86.
  87. She stated, as an invisible creature would swim alongside her compatriot. A heavy stride was taken once more. Pushing herself to do one more heaving burst of energy. All whilst she was fighting to make it towards her destination.
  88.
  89. At her most vulnerable alongside her water spirit. It would be very unfortunate for the Siren if something decided to creep from under whilst she was in the predicament. "One more stride Aviel. Lets hope we can make it.."
  90.
  91. She stated. Platforms still forming, but a lot slower as her strength was still withering.
  92. (Yamani)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [16:09] Perhaps it was a bit strange that, Mori didn't actually jump into the waves. More so staring forth at the Compass always carried upon his form before shaking his head. "People need ta' realize i'm not a fuckin' shark...I'm a god damn Orca whale."
  96.
  97. Shaking his head ever so slightly before he stared towards all of those present, the voice of a sea-captain cutting through the earie waves. Almost like he's done this far, far too often. A thumb was jabbed towards Yamani, if she chose to halt now? That would be her own choice...but Mori had no problem dragging people to the depths.
  98.
  99. "I'm only doin' this a second time. Ya' all better fuckin' hold on.." And with it? The Orca sirenian crossed his arms in a funeral position before letting gravity take hold and bring him to the sea. A sound akin to a dying Dolphin came from the sea as the Sirenian rose forth again, just barely peaking up from the water.
  100.
  101.
  102. Yet it was wrong, twisted almost. Patches of stretchy purple skin clung to the orca in various places. Part of their face seemed...stitched. Even their very form oozed wrongness. At least they still had....one eye in that strange sirenian form. Bloodshot in its entirety but still working. The power of the deep one present as a much harsher voice split the air.
  103.
  104. "Yamani. Climb aboard, catch ya' breath, Ya' useless ta' all of us if ya' end up bait fer somethin' else. As fer da' rest of ya'? …Hold tight and don't let go cause i'm not changin' course just ta' pick ya' back up." A final warning before they too, dove beneath the waves eventually, provided things all went according to plan.
  105.
  106.
  107. For a pirate, the sea truly was his home. Especially the deepest parts of it all. Not an ounce of water magi within him, Though he could keep his heart rate from slowing. If...need be, right?
  108.
  109. It was peaceful and they should surely make it through.
  110.
  111. Unless?...
  112. (Mori Reave)
  113. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  114.
  115. [16:13] He wouldn't dare release his hold, no matter how fast it took. Thanks to the bubble around his head, the water pressure was at least minimized.
  116.
  117. However, he actually had to change the bubble once, with the previous one bursting.
  118.
  119. "Shit, I didn't sirenians were this powerful."
  120. (Aviel)
  121. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  122.
  123. [16:24] The young woman would burst her final Stride. Everything and every fiber within her body. However. The end was soon nigh for her as her stride was almost completed. Her eyes would close once more, blanking out her vision, mere focusing on getting that final stride across.
  124.
  125. Untill.
  126.
  127. A small jab was given to her. Her call was heeded, as expected from that of the brave captain. She would gradually open her eyes, dissipating the wind that was more than apparent. Finally, it was now their time for them to dive.
  128.
  129. The Barracuda siren would grab onwards, latching unto the Mori with what little strength she had. Finally, she would have time to recover with their guide towards the depths. A piece of familiarity was glossed over her. A piece of home.
  130.
  131. The corals, within the reef, the fish sprawling about in the expanding ocean. To Yamani, its beauty compared to none. Whilst the Orca would soon reach the depths, she felt like she had all the time in the world. If only for a moment..
  132.
  133. "Mmm. I miss the underwater depths. Feels a lot closer to home than that of the shallows."
  134.
  135. She stated. However, her resolve still maintained throughout.
  136.
  137. "Soon I hope to capture this feeling once more..."
  138.
  139. She stated. looking all around her, the light touching the surface.. And back towards the murky depths, covered in thick, and unverving ooze..
  140. (Yamani)
  141. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  142.
  143. [16:24] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  144. [16:28] {NARRATION} Time would pass as the party hitched a ride on Mori. The sea would be clear, the coral reefs below giving it a vibrant staturation. Yet, it would suddenly come to a halt. As if a line was drawn a vast chasm would lead down into the deeper depths.
  145.
  146. From there there was no color, and perhaps even worse, the currents were changing. Something was moving them, and a feeling of dread would suddenly shiver down everyone's spine.
  147. [16:30] The magi gulped as he narrowed his eyes. It was hard to see and he judged that even if the sirenians may have the ability to see, or even if Eztli had a vision that allows him to see through the dark, he would be useless to the party if he were blind.
  148.
  149. He pushed both palms forward as six orbs of light slowly pushed forth, illuminating the darkness.
  150.
  151. After all, men are afraid of those they do not see; of those they do not understand.
  152. (Aviel)
  153. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  154.
  155. [16:34] This certainly wasn't the strangest adventure he'd been on; and it certainly wasn't his first time traveling the ocean depths like currently. Perhaps though, the most intriguing part about it all was Mori's ability to change as they did; of course, he refrained from questioning.
  156.
  157. Instead focusing on catching a ride with them as they descended, until light gave way to darkness and he could no longer see anything.
  158.
  159. "Anyone else feel that?" He shudders, looking around and relying on the light Aviel conjured forth. Though even with its aid he could see naught.
  160. (Eztli Meztin)
  161. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  162.
  163. [16:38] It was a heartwarming sight in truth. That single twitching eye observing the coral reefs. Everything about it was savory, enticing to all things. To all sirenian? It perhaps might have even been perfect.
  164.
  165. But to Mori? It was simply...wrong.
  166.
  167. "Da' watery depths...I don't get how ya' can love da' coral but, ah...I never will, da' deep calls ta' me more than da' coral. More than da' serene nature of this place. Yet ma' home...is below."
  168.
  169. Yet once the light soon left the ocean sea-waves? The Orca's jaw twitched and moved. A deep ornate stone was protruded from their maw. A faint purple light casting over the few things they were before that feeling of dread came over them all.
  170.
  171. The feeling of home. That light of the deep amethyst stone? Was soon swirled and bubbled around in a miasma of sanguine liquid before it returned to the orca's maw. "Everyone ready fer da' descend inta' madness? It don't get better than this."
  172.
  173. That dread called to him, and he'd follow it to the end, unless interventions were made. But that was their entire goal right? To head even deeper into the sea.
  174. (Mori Reave)
  175. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  176.
  177. [16:41] Despite The swift descent, it would give the young siren copious amounts of time to finally absorb herself into sightseeing. Those precious seconds were those that were firmly grasped within the sirens vision itself. Clinging to parts of homesickness from departing so far from a biome such as this.
  178.
  179. However, those warm thoughts would erode as swiftly as they had been born. as the beautiful majestic landscape of the underwater, was soon blotted out with darkness. Currents within the area rapidly changing against each other as a result.
  180.
  181. Something was brewing. And it was brewing swiftly. Her eyesight wouldn't allow her to pierce the darkness unfortunately. In her Mermaid form, she would keep her blade as tight as she could around her. Not knowing what could appear next.
  182.
  183. Illuminating orbs of light would be shone. Allowing for a bit of sight, though she would not be certain that it would be enough for that of the depths. "Ah. I don't know how you embrace distruption like that Mori... However, no time for questions. Prepare yourself, and soon.."
  184.
  185. She did not know what was to come. However, she wouldn't hesitate to prepare for the worst if it called for it. Dread would slowly etch away at the woman's resolve, slowly tensions would rise within her not knowing who or what lurks within these depths.
  186.
  187. All she could do was hope, and prepare.
  188. (Yamani)
  189. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  190.
  191. [16:48] {NARRATION} A decent into madness would be one way to put it. The depths themselves are maddening to the unexperienced. Endless darkness, bleak walls of rock. It was endless.
  192.
  193. And now, it was only heightened. Perhaps the Sirenians would know the maddness' true calling, yet it wouldn't help them all the while as they continued on, going deeper and deeper.
  194.
  195. Their senes would be slowly begin to go null, a whisper would slowly take over their minds, while not commanding, it barked one single message.
  196.
  197. Deeper.
  198.
  199. Yet - something would interrupt that, from the walls something would jut out, and it was going right for the two surface dwellers.
  200. [16:53] Eztli had keen animalistic senses, and he was also fortunately a skilled Water-Magi to boot. But so far from the surface world, surrounded by nothing but endless darkness; he was really out of his element.
  201.
  202. And so, he replied mostly on the Sirenians in the group to guide them towards the correct location, since this was their world after-all.
  203.
  204. As his senses began to grow dull however, and a single message echoed through his mind; that sense of dread only seemed to worsen. "I don't trust this..."
  205.
  206. And then something jutted from the walls, almost too fast and dark from him to comprehend. Oh what could it be?
  207. (Eztli Meztin)
  208. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  209.
  210. [16:57] Deeper
  211.
  212. That faint whisper, clawing its way in. Though it wasn't quite a crawling, it was more so...the freedom to reside in his head. The whispering was quite firm. He knew exactly what it was. The very thing he swore to, its gift he held everyday.
  213.
  214. The deep one's calling. It didn't help that he knew what it was, Dulled senses only ushered him to move forward. Quicker towards the depths, his home. A lazy eye curved ever towards what seemed to be an approaching threat as they gurgled out within the deep waters.
  215.
  216. A husky, hoarse breathless whisper.
  217.
  218. "Trouble from da' deep...And I was just gettin' hungry let...me get just a bite, just...a nibble.." Straining their already strained form towards what came towards them. A deep wailing, one of hunger.
  219.
  220.
  221. Was it time to feast? Did he get brought a meal from the deep? It was terrifying as it was eustatically heart racing. A feeling he was waiting for.
  222. (Mori Reave)
  223. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  224.
  225. [16:58] "Fear not the shadows," the magi closed his eyes to focus, chanting as the mana about him swirled as they went deeper. Deeper and deeper.
  226.
  227. However, he frowned though he opened not his eyes, sensing disturbance. Madness called unto him, yet he only gritted his teeth as he continued to chant.
  228.
  229. What he was doing was obvious to experienced magis. Aviel was pushing his limits so the sea may deter him not.
  230.
  231. "The ether is like the sea, and the ether is my realm,” whispered the magi as he flashed his eyes open, irises flashing with a dazzling silver light, glancing to the direction of whatever jutted out from the walls; heading for their direction.
  232.
  233. Below Aviel's feet were fierce bubbling, almost akin to fire, to propel him to any direction he wished to; but, with visionary casting pushing his limits, he could not do this forever.
  234.
  235. Thus, he swiftly drew his bow against whatever that was.
  236. (Aviel)
  237. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  238.
  239. [17:05] And so her thinking was correct. The illuminated orbs would not pierce the never-ending darkness that plagued the area. As the chills would grow deeper and deeper. Tearing at the maintained resolve. Slowly, she would move forth.
  240.
  241. Untill
  242.
  243. |Deeper|
  244.
  245. She heard. As the darkness echoed words that would carve her mind within.. Her breathing had grown to be more frequent after hearing the voices. Forcing the aquatic Magi to become more alert. Whilst she loved the depths, pure blackness was not an area she enjoyed.
  246.
  247. Sight would be one of the deciding factors of a siren. Whether or not they were predator. Or prey, to have that taken from her... Robbed from her. Her heart was beating, and fast. The unknown was not something that she truly enjoyed.
  248.
  249. Much less the deepened darkness. She would surround her blade in a freezing current. Approaching slowly before abruptly Hearing a jutted movement from the unknown within the walls they were blocked in. Entering a guarding stance to prepare herself from the threat.
  250.
  251. The sound would go deeper, and deeper. Her teeth gritting as her blade left her sheathe. Anticipating an attack to block and defend herself with.. Only, the sound would swiftly pass her. It seemed that their target was not her..
  252.
  253. But her surface walker compatriots. Turning around instinctively, Charging another shard of Ice with her freezing currents, Throwing it at the entity. Was it too late? The dark was to hard to make out the results..
  254. (Yamani)
  255. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  256.
  257. [17:10]
  258. {LOAD GAME}
  259.
  260. [17:20] {Won Dangerous RPB against RETRO DM}
  261. [17:20] ** Yamani has inflicted an injury upon RETRO DM. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  262. [17:33] Whatever it was that swam in the dark, was called on by the deep. An ever present concern even as they all fought to defend themselves. A monstrosity, cursed by the waters of the deep one.
  263.
  264. Something like him, blessed by the waters of the deep. It was, a strange twist in a way. Even through the murky darkness everyone fought to shine. Aviel with light that flashed periodically, like memories boosted forth out of the dark.
  265.
  266. To Ezlti's mending and calling of the hydromantic waves. Eyes gifted by spirits to see in a dark that wasn't meant for people, or sirenians proper. Down to Yamani. One like himself yet so different, pushing past the darkness that sought to bring them all close, a struggle.
  267.
  268. But a struggle without meaning, for they were getting closer to the depths, and his hunger grew. Could he risk the lives of those who he boar upon his back? Of course not, but in that moment where his senses felt the dullest, there was no reprieve for what the Orca had did.
  269.
  270. Shaking free to indulge upon what had broken. Weakened by the constant barrages left upon its form by everyone's own unique way, But there was nothing unique about it. Bearing down with teeth made to consume smaller fish, bits and parts of whatever that...creature was; consumed in its entirety.
  271.
  272. Only with the dark did they find a small bit of thanks, so that perhaps none of them noticed the shift in the Orca's form. It becoming that much more stretchy, as if its skin was shifting to become like a squids. Rubbery and a deep, purple in newer patches.
  273.
  274. A deep infection. And a meal to continue going with everyone's efforts.
  275.
  276. "Deeper we must...go...Right, Yamani?"
  277. (Mori Reave)
  278. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  279.
  280. [17:39] The magi's reverted back to normal, though through his exhaustion, he could not truly indeed not have noticed the shift of the Reave's form.
  281.
  282. However, even if he did, he might have shrugged it off simply as yet another sirenian's unique characteristics.
  283.
  284. It was still deep and he chose to silently recover, hawkish eyes remaining alert despite the darkness.
  285.
  286. "Tch," frustrated, he could not have imagined that even his light was useless here.
  287. (Aviel)
  288. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  289.
  290. [17:45] The fight was given a lot. In the darkness she would be able to hear the feel the raw darkness of the assailant. The raw strength of combining water and wind to glaciate what was around her was of upmost importance towards them.
  291.
  292. With the purest of Ice. The Entire Ocean could be glaciated, under her own limited control. With the winds currents, she would forcefully create stalagmites, and frozen fields of water to Disrupt and dissuade the assailant.
  293.
  294. However, whilst they would take time, the assailant had strong blows, with jet pressured water in the shape of a dragon overwhelming her. However, the reminder to push forwards... And adapt completely... They would have a preferred result..
  295.
  296. Shards of Ice thrown at the darkened enemy. Signs of occultist magic was shown. And the strength of it allowed her to sense where her target was striking next. And with that knowledge, she would strike with as much precision as she could muster.
  297.
  298. Orbs of light soon helping track the assailant even more.. Whisking in circular motions currents of both wind and water, multiple shards of frozen ice would exit. Overwhelming the target with one final glacial assaults to bring the fish weak.
  299.
  300. She would slowly hear Mori within his Orca form absolutely sheading what was left of the actual enemy. However.. Whilst what remained of the enemy of the group.. Was blood. And not that of the the typical assialants of Jormungandrs children..
  301.
  302. It was that of Sirennian kind. The blood smelling with thick Iron. To see Mori attack and continue to devour a creature of her own kind.. Of THEIR own kind. Made her sick. Audible gags involving a sound of ceased regurgitation. To stop to hold her lunch, followed by swallowing to continue..
  303.
  304. "Y-...Yes. Forwards. We must Press through. For the future still is uncertain.."
  305.
  306. She said with a disconnected tone. Still reflecting on what had happened earlier.. Hearing and smelling the lengths the Mori would goto... She was glad the Darkness had masked her ability to see the whole encounter unravel. Or she would not know if she could hold what she had eaten earlier...
  307. (Yamani)
  308. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  309.
  310. [17:55] {NARRATION} Who knew that Mori was such a ruthless fighter. To devour his opponent... perhaps the maddness was getting to him. Or maybe that's how he really was. Never the less their foe had been defeated.
  311.
  312. And seemingly the path down was opened.
  313.
  314. If they choose to continue, the whispers would grow, what could faintly be heard became louder and louder before they reached the bottom, where a door lied.
  315. [18:01] They were simply, the resident fish bus towards the depths of the ocean floor. Regardless of what transpired they moved akin to a machine, drawn on by the whispers that grew as the bottom of the sea-bed came to light. Along with it? A door.
  316.
  317.
  318. Yet all they did was simply motion towards it and bring them close. No words came from them as they seemed to be...still chewing some of the remains of their opponent. Waiting patiently near it, for he was simply in parked motion with no move to even open it.
  319.
  320. He was just the bus, they had it in the end. All he did was listen to the sounds of madness.
  321. (Mori Reave)
  322. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  323.
  324. [18:06] A low growl escaped the magi’s lips, his eyes turning cold, gritting his teeth as his canines sharpened; lips dripping with blood. Though upon the darkness, it was but a pinch of crimson to the water about him.
  325.
  326. Seemingly fleeting evocations of memories passed through his mind. Lucy, Raahll, the Nethradin – Shadowmire.
  327.
  328. To Dallan – then to the city of cogs.
  329.
  330. Memories of loss and pain that seemed now so vivid in Aviel’s thoughts. Moments of losing his mind, losing to primal wrath, resulting to a lone berserk’s enraged clash against the Mire. He was so close to death, yet it was fate that carried him home.
  331.
  332. However, he bit his lips and shook his head, looking at the others. Though they looked more like silhouettes with echoed, whispery voice.
  333.
  334. "Let's go," said Aviel calmly in response to the others, his breathing evidently heavy.
  335. (Aviel)
  336. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  337.
  338. [18:07] The young woman would approach slowly. Attempting to surpress the thoughts of the aftermath. The tearing flesh, and the bone breaking of Mori's victim.. Was a horrendous thing to hear, and smell. And the whispers of the depths were not helping.
  339.
  340. DEeper..
  341.
  342. The darkness insisted. The words continuing onwards without relent. The constant harkening of enemies before them.. She needed to be on her toes. She truly desired for each of them to survive. Slowly and carefully she would make her descent towards the door.
  343.
  344. DEEper..
  345.
  346. It would continue. Scraping against her will. Fighting back the urges to relinquish her patience, and then her sanity.. She would slowly make her way towards the door. Her blade prepared once more from what it was that was lingering.
  347.
  348. DEEPer
  349.
  350. "Are you ready the rest of you?"
  351.
  352. She said as she slowly rested her hand on the door. Slowly pushing it..
  353. (Yamani)
  354. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  355.
  356. [18:08] Aviel says, "Yes. Before my sanity betrays me."
  357. [18:08] Mori Reave says, "Da' whispers are a gift...Da' dead god's heart still beats..."
  358. [18:10] Yamani says, "rnd 1-20"
  359. [18:14] {NARRATION} A door, and nobody stoped to question its existance?
  360.
  361. Perhaps that was a horrible mistake, only applified by Yamani's push of it.
  362.
  363. A tendril would shoot down and grab her arm. A crack would instantly be heard as she was powerless to do anything agaisnt it. Even worse it was pulling her up to it's a maw.
  364.
  365. A decedent of the Siren's worst fear was before them.

  388. [18:17] Mori Reave says, "yea with the uh- door at the bottom"
  389. [18:18] ** RETRO DM has inflicted an injury upon Yamani. ("Shattered Arm", "Yamanai's right arm has been shattered. The bones almost completely turned to dust. This injury will take quite some time to heal. ", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  390. [18:20] Aviel vanished out of thin sight, and with speed rivaling that of light, he appeared above the tendril with dual blades of crimson and azure.
  391.
  392. He spun like a top, to cut up the tendril to free Yamani from the creature’s maw.
  393. (Aviel)
  394. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  395.
  396. [18:25] And there it was. A crack of a whip was given towards Yamani. This was certainly what she had deserved for pressing onwards without proper preparation. A strong lesson that she was to learn in the future. Being disoriented by the strike she stood upwards.
  397.
  398. DEEPEr.
  399.
  400. Still Covered in black. And sent an strong distance away from her group. There would be no calling for backup upon this point. Not against the ever expanding darkness no. Her right arm Absolutely shattered. It was up to her left in order to prepare for an attack.
  401.
  402. DEEPER.
  403.
  404. Wind currents would surround her arm. Glaciating the injury until she was able to deal and recuperate for what was to come next. Her blade was flipped. And her eyes was closed. Freezing the temperatures around her Covering the area in Stalagmites of Ice.
  405.
  406. DEEPER
  407.
  408. Enough.
  409.
  410. She thought. Whatever happened that detached her from her group. She would have to wait. This was her trial, a siren's life was meant to be tested. Over and over and over again. The grip on her blade strengthening, awaiting for the emissary to come forth.
  411. (Yamani)
  412. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  413.
  414. [18:41] {Won Restrained RPB against RETRO DM}
  415. [18:50] It felt like a solid wall as he hit the tendril, the reverberation knocking him away.
  416.
  417. However, as yet another tendril protruded out to crush his neck, he vanished into a wispy mist.
  418.
  419. Yet this gave Yamani a chance to perhaps rescue herself, as well as assisting Eztli and Mori for an all-out attack.
  420.
  421. And from afar, arrows of ether, of crimson light rained upon the creature. Though, as he recharged his arrows of mana, the magi was always before the creature, unleashing an onslaught of lacerations and cuts.
  422.
  423. If his blades were not made of mana, formed with the element of water and blood, they surely would have already broken.
  424.
  425. The cycle of offensive attacks and supportive arrows repeated.
  426.
  427. Soon enough, with the party's effort, the creature slowed down. Allowing Aviel demand levy from the body of the ocean about them, unleashing forth not an arrow from his bow, but serpentine beast that seemed to roar; its cries echoing despite the subtletiesof the seas.
  428.
  429. This created an opportunity for the rest to let loose and end the creature. And with that, Aviel lowered his bow, before noticing only 3 bubbles of water remained around him.
  430. (Aviel)
  431. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  432.
  433. [18:50] Fighting under-water felt akin to trying to move while pressed under weights many times his own size. It was agonizing and slow; and trying on his body. Worst of all was that his full potential was greatly hindered.
  434.
  435. Even still, that didn't mean he wouldn't give it his all in that moment.
  436.
  437. Yamani was a friend, and he couldn't very-well leave her to be eaten by whatever creature had deigned to appear from behind that door. And so he called forth the power of Vrona; her light shining down even to these forgotten depths to empower his small form.
  438.
  439. While the others fought up close, Eztli would instead fight from a distance; firing off cosmic aspected blasts of energy to whittle down the creature and leave its defences open.
  440.
  441. Only when opportunities presented themselves did he risk rushing in and striking at it with compressed whips of water.
  442.
  443. It was a difficult battle; so-much-so it seemed he was going to be defeated, potentially even die down here. But somehow; they prevailed.
  444.
  445. "Yamani, are you okay?" He asks, swimming in close and inspecting her curiously.
  446. (Eztli Meztin)
  447. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  448.
  449. [18:55] The young siren would have to think on her feed for a small portion. Launching large Icebergs at her own opponent was the play for her. Lowering the temperatures so that if by any chance they could FEEL the temperature lowering would be her best bet.
  450.
  451. Deeper.
  452.
  453. ""
  454.
  455. Her mind echoed As the enemy would be headed towards her. The cold was increasing, Slowing down and eventually stalling for a better chance. Charging up her wind magic against the current to fling more freezing magic against the opponent that was before her.
  456.
  457. Deeper.
  458.
  459. ""
  460.
  461. Yamani had one goal. And one broken arm as well, survive. The blasts of water, the onslaught. Survive through it all, desperation attempting to get a hold of her as the temperature began dropping even heavier. Withstanding heavy jets of water. She would hear shines of light amongst the impending darkness.
  462.
  463. Herfriends. They were they were swift to the punch. She could hear them. Fighting alongside her. Blasts of cosmic, light and blood magic. The dampened bursts gave her a glimmer. They had found her, and was able to fight alongside her.
  464.
  465. Deeper.
  466.
  467. ""
  468.
  469. She would smile. As the assailant was slowly growing weaker. Giving her enough strength to deal with the opponent at hand. And finally fend off the attacker, with a broken arm. It could have been worse. So, so much worse. But alas, She was in the clear for now..
  470.
  471. "Mmm. My right arm is out of commission for now. I am going to be using my left from this point onwards."
  472.
  473. She stated. Nodding towards the Beastkin.
  474.
  475. "I would have been much worse off if it weren't for everyone's help. Thanks."
  476.
  477. She stated. A reassured tone was given. As she now wondered what else was awaiting for them.
  478.
  479.
  480.
  481. (Yamani)
  482. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  483.
  484. [19:01] {NARRATION} After an intense fight, the monster would flee leaving Yamani with only a broken arm. A much worse fate would've happened had she been held for a second longer.
  485.
  486. Yet the door would remain open for them to walk through, and on the other side was a long forgotten submerged town. It seemed lifeless and yet something called out to them.
  487.
  488. DEEPER. GIVE IN. DEEPER.
  489.
  490. An eiree red glow would shine through and reach their eyes from the darkness presented to them all.
  491. [19:06] In through the door they ventured; and what greeted them on the other side but a whole submerged town. Just the sight of it takes him from surprise and he can't help but let out a little "Woah..." as he inspected it.
  492.
  493. It was sights like these that reminded the Meztin just how big the world really is, not just on the surface world; but also the world beneath the ocean waves.
  494.
  495. Of course, before he could lose himself to the intriguing sight; that rather menacing voice would call out in their heads yet again.
  496.
  497. He didn't trust it one bit.
  498. (Eztli Meztin)
  499. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  500.
  501. [19:09] If he were alone, he would have rushed on to slay whatever that was giving him an eye.
  502.
  503. It annoyed him to no end as the pain on his head gradually increased.
  504.
  505. But, this was not his journey and he came here to only lend his bow to Yamani and the others.
  506.
  507. However, he subconsciously summoned both his blades, sharp, awaiting to strike against ALL enemies.
  508.
  509. It was not the lack of fear, but this was always how madness embraced the magi.
  510.
  511. The insanity of wrath. The lust for blood sleeping dormant, only awakened by the touch of madness.
  512. (Aviel)
  513. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  514.
  515. [19:15] Had he helped? It was more or less a painful blurr of things that came to be, did he stand still for it all? There was only one thing that did continue to move him again.
  516.
  517. The whispers were back, Calling him, them to move forward faster. To give in. Yet he was already a follower, how far deeper into the depths did he need to truly go? Only one way to truly find out.
  518.
  519. And that's what he did... Sluggish steps moved forward as they seemingly brushed past everyone in a further haze. Had the madness gotten to him that quickly? Or was it already there.
  520.
  521. Almost like a zombie where his movements. All while humming softly under his breath. Like a faint lullaby.
  522.
  523. "Come with me, to the deep, Where we'll sing his name to be, Lack of light, lack of sound, all we need is the Deep one's sound."
  524.
  525. For better or for worse? Mori might have succumbed...but that wasn't a bad thing, was it?
  526. (Mori Reave)
  527. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  528.
  529. [19:16] The young woman would slowly take a few short breaths. The surging pain from her arm began to seep through as the bits of adrenaline would fade. Being saved from a much worse fate was considered extremely fortunate for Yamani.
  530.
  531. "The gates.. The gates are open.." She stated.. Her blade with her functioning arm was prepared once more.. This was only the start of the endeavor. And she could feel the aftermath getting much worse than this no doubt.
  532.
  533. The fear of losing more would return. The glimpse of hope that something would come forth.. That her lofty goal. Would hold some weight upon the world of esshar. The gates were open. Wide open. But this was no time to halt. Formations of Ice gathering around her.
  534.
  535. She awaited another enemy to come forth no doubt. Though. A small glance at the Orca siren was given. And not once more. It was certainly those who willingly embraced madness were the ones that you had to worry about the most.
  536. (Yamani)
  537. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  538.
  539. [19:21] {NARRATION} Nothing would pop out... for now.
  540.
  541. Yet their concern for worry was noted. More chills would run down their spine, dread, fear, loss, grief, anger. More and more it would consume them, and then, Mori began to walk whiling muttering his lullaby.
  542.
  543. The red light would shine brighter, and whispers would join his song.
  544.
  545. "Come with me, to the deep. Where we'll sing his name to be! Lack of light! Lack of sound! All we need is the Deep One's Sound"
  546.
  547. It would not stop, it would never stop. For all they needed was the Deep One, right?
  548. [19:25] With a flash of light, he appeared behind Mori, tapping his shoulder.
  549.
  550. Aviel was slowly losing it and if he did, he wouldn't be able to identify allies from his enemies.
  551.
  552. "If you truly think this is your god, then run to his embrace. But, all I sense is a predator baiting its prey," said Aviel.
  553.
  554. "Think," he whispered before looking at Eztli and Yamani.
  555.
  556. "You too. Think of why you're here," he said, finally speaking his thoughts.
  557. (Aviel)
  558. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  559.
  560. [19:30] Yamani would slowly nod. Looking towards that of Mori. Madness was certainly his calling. And this action was of little surprise to her. However. She would quickly follow after him. Giving the group the call to follow afterwards.
  561.
  562. "Hey. Everyone. Lets move alongside Mori. Let us not let him suffer like I did." She insisted. A strong sense of worry was given. And her Ice cast made it so that She could protect thesmselves. Her eyes tracking Aviels voice. Her visage now bathed with red light.
  563.
  564. "The gates are open. And I am not leaving one of the only few of my people behind." She stated. Her guard facing outwards as she slowly entered alongside Mori. She expects that more problems will arise no doubt. The chills the lullaby, the fear..
  565.
  566. She is struggling to push them down for so long. Reminding herself that the she shall leave the trial stronger feeds her hope. But for how long will they last against the depths of the fiends there? She wondered. There was only one way to find out.
  567.
  568. "Forward."
  569. (Yamani)
  570. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  571.
  572. [19:34] One step after the other, slow and melodic. Wasn't this what he came for? However he was stopped briefly by a tap upon his shoulder. That eye twitching briefly before it turned and stared at Aviel. Slowly, as if the Orca had been asleep.
  573.
  574. And then? They spoke. A softer tone, as that leathery hand soon found its way on Aviel's shoulder. "This is what they do...Ya' guilty..."
  575.
  576. They spoke without moving, just before they soon turned towards the direction of the whispers, where they coming from everywhere? Or a single direction. That eye soon swept towards Yamani and that smile stretched further.
  577.
  578. "Add ya' voice ta' da' lullaby...Its all we want in da' end." Though if no one aimed to slow his movements, or hault him. The Orca would move at a brisker pace.
  579.
  580. Adding further to that lullaby that rang out in the red light.
  581.
  582. "Through the mist, down the reef, Sirenians never seen again. Deep one's deep below the rotting stones. Sing his praise, sing its praise.."
  583. (Mori Reave)
  584. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  585.
  586. [19:40] {NARRATION} With each passing step the group took, the whispers would become clearer, and soon a woman would speak to them, echoing Mori's own words.
  587.
  588. "Through the mist, down the reef, Sirenians never seen again. Deep One's deep below the rotting stones. Sing his praise, sing its praise..."
  589.
  590. While to everyone the voice would come from everywhere, Mori walked towards the Red Light.
  591. [19:42] He drew his bow as Mori continued to walk, his breathing growing heavier and even heavier, before pointing it to direction of the crimson eye earlier.
  592.
  593. "Yamani, Eztli. Clearly, Mori has been lulled," said Aviel.
  594.
  595. "Say the word and I'll release my arrow," he said before stretching the bowstring, summoning upon an arrow of crimson light.
  596. (Aviel)
  597. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  598.
  599. [19:49] "How grating..."
  600.
  601. Eztli watches on curiously, hands clutched tightly around his war-fan. He knew little about what was going on though it was easy to guess that it was the Deep One's influence luring Mori towards it.
  602.
  603. He offers a nod to both Aviel and Yamani in that moment; a signal to act should the need arise. Who knew what the Orca was capable of truly.
  604. (Eztli Meztin)
  605. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  606.
  607. [19:52] The woman would sigh... Cannabalistic tendencies, attunement with the occult.. And now deep ties with the darkness that threatened the livelihood of all Sirennia? This would not do. She would remain watching.. For a moment. She stopped, waiting for the Siren to pass through the gate.
  608.
  609. She would lean near the corners of the doors. "Aviel, Take the right side of the door with me. Let him pass, with weapon drawn. Eztli? Please stay near the corner of the door with me. Im going to wait a moment, And then reach for him if her gets to far."
  610.
  611. She stated. He was certainly lulled. And that red light HAD to have a source. She did not believe that it was just voices walking along. This innate destructive curiosity is what damned sirrennia that while back. Even fighting the urges of the lullaby.
  612.
  613. "This is what plagued old Atlantis. The addiction to primal destruction without substance.." She said with worry. She did not want the Siren to be consumed. Not by this darkness. Or even by his own goals for that matter. This was a risk in itself, but she hopes deeply that wouldn't be the only siren returning to the surface.
  614. (Yamani)
  615. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  616.
  617. [19:53] A pause, a slow turn towards Aviel. That eye staring at Aviel with pure malice as they tilted their head slowly. "Ya'...think I wasn't lulled? Ya' think I wasn't a deep one worshiper before all of this? Ya' wrong...ya' all wrong. I've been here...waitin' and hearin' 'im. This ain't nothin' new."
  618.
  619. The first sentences they'd spoken after all. Backpeddling ever slowly towards the red light with his back towards it. Its eye flickering between them all. That light...it called to him far more than the other voices.
  620.
  621. "Da' light is bliss, and truth in that. Just let me walk, just let me in. No place like home, No place like home..after all da' light welcomes all."
  622.
  623.
  624. And here? Did Mori continue walking. Walking further and further into, and towards that Red light. A light that they so deeply cherished. It was slow at first, it was a walk...before it turned? Into something else, a job, before the Sirenian broke out into a full on run towards the light.
  625.
  626.
  627. "Deep one's cometh, Deep one's here...Deep one's revival, is comin' back soon!"
  628. (Mori Reave)
  629. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  630.
  631. [19:59] {NARRATION} "Mhmmh. Yes. Come child. Join me. Join us. Together we can listen to the lullby forever. Together. Forever. Everlasting. We will be one in the same." The woman would call out as the light grew brighter and brighter.
  632.
  633. The darkness would only grow, and the whispers for everyone would suddendly change.
  634.
  635. "Will you join the two of us? Or will you reject the message we are giving you?"
  636.
  637.
  638. [19:59] Aviel says, "Say it..."
  639. [19:59] Mori Reave says, "Let's...Allllll, sink togetha'..."
  640. [19:59] Aviel says, "Yamani... Eztli... I have no time. Say it."
  641. [20:00] Aviel says, "Believe me, you wouldn't want me as your enemy."
  642. [20:02] Aviel said and looked at the two. It was not a threat. But the call of the primal, with no ally but himself. As for everything? They would then be all his enemies. Such is the nature of a berserker.
  643. (Aviel)
  644. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  645.
  646. [20:07] The young woman would slowly sigh. Mentally checking around as she has seen it. A sigh was given, as more information was given towards us. There was a liability. An anomaly she didn't expect. Her is likely to die if this façade continues.
  647.
  648. The lullaby dragging the siren along with it. Yamani would have to act fast in turn as well. Lest she fall victim towards the actual problem in itself. And with that. A decisive choice was made. The siren would slowly nod towards Aviel.
  649.
  650. "Aviel. Engage the female target. Eztli, you and I are pushing in."
  651.
  652. She stated. Swift judgements. Perhaps they wouldn't have to take down the Reave. "Let us cull the source of the lullaby. And fast.." She stated, Moving forwards as she attempts to attack the woman.
  653.
  654. "LETS GO!"
  655.
  656. She stated. They had little time to get this problem out of the way, and done for. And they had even less time to perhaps snap mori Out of it in time. She is likely convinced that the Orca wouldn't make serve attempts to harm her.
  657.
  658. Fragmentations of Ice materializing with flurries of freezing Galebursts prepared for an all out assualt.
  659. (Yamani)
  660. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  661.
  662. [20:10] And thus, he shot his bow, towards the red eye.
  663.
  664. The whispers, he did not know where they were coming from, but it was pulling the madman from within.
  665.
  666. However, that was the only location he knew it may have come from.
  667.
  668. "Who knows if there's even truly a female target, Yamani," said Aviel.
  669.
  670. Though upon releasing the arrow, he prepared to ride the ether, to slay who dared mock him.
  671. (Aviel)
  672. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  673.
  674. [20:13] Aviel says, "This screams to me - Nethradin."
  675. [20:16] "Join...Yes, join the deep. Just like Gol Reave, let's drown everythin'-" Words cut short as a distant string of words floated past his ear. Faint, distant. All it took was a arrow of magical origin to wizz by to set the dread captain into something less akin to a berserker rage....But more Akin to a savage zealot defending a god.
  676.
  677. "No, no, no, No. Da' deep is mine...ya' can't have them, ya' can't have it." Swung around his form was inky waves that soon led forth? To Tyrium bullets ringing through the water. Lost, in that own world, the world of the deep.
  678.
  679.
  680. Friends? Were foes.
  681.
  682. Foes? Had become the most unlikely of friends.
  683.
  684. All with the sound of a dying Dolphin as the captain backed towards it further. Intent on gaining...or apparently joining whatever it was. The deep one's pull was strong. Yet for once who was raised upon nothing but the deep?
  685.
  686.
  687. It was his calling. A dreadful, dreadful calling...
  688.
  689. "That which should not be...shall rise from da' sea, shall rise from da' tide. Let it happen!"
  690.
  691. Yet...here? Bullets did ring out.
  692.
  693. A dangerous way for this situation to truly go.
  694. (Mori Reave)
  695. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  696.
  697. [20:16] Yamani says, "Damn it.."
  698. [20:23] Eztli rubs at his nose and itches at his neck; his eyes dilated larger then what could be considered normal. It was as if he were on something; and given the events playing out, he found it difficult to distinguish reality from fiction.
  699.
  700. What a trip.
  701.
  702. Even still, despite the dust coursing through his system, he still had enough sensibility to know that Mori had lost the plot. And their true self, someone who he'd seen brief glimpses over throughout the years, was free for all to see.
  703.
  704. He kisses his teeth in disgust.
  705.
  706. "You're a crazy zealot Mori, still wanting to destroy the world along with the Deep One. Despicable,"
  707.
  708. A nod is given to Aviel, the all clear.
  709.
  710. Mori was a friend, a close one; but they were clearly demented.
  711. (Eztli Meztin)
  712. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  713.
  714. [20:27] Yamani now knew more about what was present. The Zealotry of the deep was a poison towards the mind. To many it was one that grasped them and firm. Turning back. Hopefully it was time to regroup with the both of them, this was an unfortunate event.
  715.
  716. "They have always told me to look at the ones that accept the Decent of madness. Change of plans lets provide our ally with backup." She said as she rushed towards Mori. Hoping she would be able to reach them in time.
  717. "The corruption of the cycle will cling to our boots." She stated firmly.
  718.
  719. He needed to be restrained, and controlled fast. Before the group faces more adversaries in the midst of combat. An unfortunate fate would befall us if this problem isn't dealt with haste. And Ice wall blessed with wind would be directed towards Mori.
  720.
  721. "Snap out of it."
  722.
  723. She commanded, hoping to push her advance against the Reave before it was too late.
  724. (Yamani)
  725. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  726.
  727. [20:30] Mori's bullets did not hit him, only to appear behind the Reave.
  728.
  729. "Get out of the way," whispered Aviel, without any intention to harm the deranged sirenian.
  730.
  731. His body was then enshrouded with crimson, ethereal light, charging forth with great speed towards what he assumed to be an ugly creature with red eyes; twin of blades drawn.
  732.
  733. Was it a nethradin? Or just a creature with a penchant for the occult? He did not know and he intended to figure out.
  734.
  735. The wrath the 'woman' had drawn out of this magi, was now directed to her.
  736.
  737. That is, if Aviel's target was true and not merely an illusion to play with their minds.
  738. (Aviel)
  739. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  740.
  741. [20:35] {NARRATION} Aviel's arrow would be launched towards the Red Light, and then, a shriek.
  742.
  743. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
  744.
  745. It went throughout their heads. The chills completely ran down their spine. A mistake had been made. Fear and dread would completely run down them as the woman would speak once more.
  746.
  747. "Kill them."
  748.
  749. "Take their eyes, take their arms. Tear their limbs, devour them. Eat them. Kill. Destroy. Rejoin. REBIRTH."
  750.
  751. The order would be given. To pit allies agaisnt each other. A task to see if Mori was actually worthy...
  752.
  753.
  754. [20:40] Silence.
  755.
  756. Not a single word came from the Orca as they seemed...frozen? Those words running through their head endlessly. A pattern of words.
  757.
  758. Kill
  759. Take their eyes
  760. Take their arms
  761. Feast, consume...
  762. Rejoin, Rebirth...
  763.
  764. And that? Is all but when the dying sound of a dolphin would return, though heavily distorted. Crackling and slithering as if the sound had been dragged through the dirt, and past a grinder. Bone white knuckles gripped that gun-blade as the Reave took in a single breath.
  765.
  766. And uttered what might be final words.
  767.
  768. "Join us, join da' deep...Everyone comes ta' da' deep eventually... Join us!" And with it? Their first target...was the very same one who wounded the sanguine light.
  769.
  770. Aviel.
  771.
  772. He'd be the first to be feasted upon, then came the others.
  773. (Mori Reave)
  774. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  775.
  776. [20:42] Aviel, gimmie dem cheeks...
  777. (Mori Reave)
  778. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  779.
  780. [20:43] ha
  781. (Aviel)
  782. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  783.
  784. [20:58] Sweeping, cutting through that blackened water as dread oozed from the reave in a malicious nature. Yet here in the blackened waters with the deep one culling and clinging to his mind?
  785.
  786.
  787. He found himself far stronger than ever. They were from the land. They had no business being beneath the sea, in the presence of the deep. And for that? He'd remind them all. The deep drowned out all. It claimed all.
  788.
  789. It hungered for all. Darting through the waters Aviel caught a true glimps of what the Orca had become underneath the waters with the flashing of illumines magic they carried. He, was a monster for better words, or lack there of.
  790.
  791. Leathery skin overtaking almost most of the Orca's form as his eye seemed extremely bloodshot, that iris twitching and fixed upon his form as that gunblade carved away through the water, intent on one target...Aviel.
  792.
  793. The one who struck out at the red light. The one who harmed It.
  794.
  795. A manifested scream came from him. Yet he was never found, beaten, bruised. At some point? He found himself face down within the ocean floor. Eye closing slowly. Did he lose it all?
  796.
  797.
  798. Yet at the next minute he didn't remember standing, he didn't recall continuing forth with all the force within his bones, those such things creaking as the Orca finally caught a hold of one who shouldn't have slipped away.
  799.
  800. "Ya' not gettin' away...embrace..Da' deep." A hand clutched at their throat before they felt it. The sickening siren song of the deep crawling over there skin and settling in deep.
  801.
  802. The mark of the deep one's eye staining its self temporarily upon their form. Giving way to the whispers strength in full. Lest they too managed to avoid it all.. "Here be monsters..."
  803. (Mori Reave)
  804. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  805.
  806. [21:06] One extra bubble left...
  807. _____
  808.
  809. He felt as if the sea was the sky, propelling his legs with water magic.
  810.
  811. He thought the ether dominated the sky, earth and the sea. And the ether was his domain. Thus, no matter the battlefield, he would dominate all.
  812.
  813. But, the ether was not his domain - yet.
  814.
  815. The Orca was swift, his movements a blur far deep within the ocean. But, Aviel wouldn't think that he would have won if they were on land.
  816.
  817. He would still have lost and this left a bitter taste on his lips.
  818.
  819. The magi growled in pain as Mori clutched his throat; a roar of both pain and rage.
  820.
  821. Aviel tightened his jaw as he narrowed his eyes at the Reave, his eyes filled with coldness and wrath.
  822.
  823. But, before the Reave could do more harm, Aviel simply vanished, retreating not so far away from the others to recuperate.
  824.
  825. "He truly deserves to be the captain of the Company," said Aviel as he coughed up blood, creating a barrier of water about him as he floated in the deep.
  826. (Aviel)
  827. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  828.
  829. [21:07] The young siren would swiftly sigh. The air around her body slowly freezing as the trail of Ice would follow through. As an attack would attempt to restrict the enemy rather than focus him down as a target.
  830. Her eyes flicker towards Eztli.
  831.
  832. "Hey. Let us restrain him. Before he creates more casualties." She insisted. Pushing her influences massively. They would have to put him down, and pride had little to do with it for her. Properly assessing and putting down her target as efficiently as possible would provide them with an accessway.
  833.
  834. They needed to finish this. And end this charade now. They needed their group back. And swiftly. Yamani would call for Eztli once more. And hope that the two will bring them down together. "Alright, let us break his madness yes?"
  835.
  836. She looked towards Eztli focusing him against the finer thoughts.. They had to restrain him and soon.
  837. (Yamani)
  838. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  839.
  840. [21:08] Yamani asks, "Ez you there man?"
  841. [21:11] {Won Restrained RPB against Mori Reave}
  842. [21:15] The young woman would attempt to restrain the enemy. Her own ally switched as easily against her foe.. Her siren attacks would hit against the young man. As the Ice would penetrate the young Orca's skin eventually, slowing him down for Eztli to blast him down..
  843.
  844. "Come ON Mori! Remember what you were HERE for!" She said. Attempting to remind him of the importance of this mission. What he would have gotten out of it if he maintained his presence. Shards of Ice overwhelming her adversary.
  845.
  846. And from Eztli's side, Ice and other problems would slowly come forth as a result. Slowly subduing the enemy. And finishing the problem. He wasn't captured, but she prayed that the Orca at least retained some of his senses when he fought onwards.
  847.
  848. "Enough. Come on. They have what you desire in there. Its yours."
  849.
  850. She said glaring at him sternly.
  851. (Yamani)
  852. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  853.
  854. [21:26] "I came...what did I come here for?" A pause. Weather it was the ocean depths, the beating to his skull, or the fact that they no longer had blood in their mouth. They thought themselves that question.
  855.
  856. He had come for...something. But what? Why was he at the depths here with them all? Blood...he had come for blood. "Blood...I came for...his blood."
  857. Another pause before the orca staggered upright. Frost clinging to his limbs and blood floating off the murky coloring upon him as they turned, slowly. Ever so slowly.
  858.
  859. They had the blood he sought? And they hid it from him? A guttural growl came that vibrated through the deep inky sea. A hand extended toward that red light.
  860.
  861.
  862. He'd done enough...if they had what he desired then what was the point of fighting? "Give it here...give me the blood...hand it over.."
  863.
  864. Quiet mumblings as the Orca soon sank towards his knees, exhaustion taking his form yet his gaze stayed locked on the light. Coherent enough to determine friend from foe...but not enough that they'd lash out again. But for now? They seemed...tempered.
  865.
  866.
  867. Even if briefly. They couldn't copy what Nidaz did, so they had to recover on their own terms. And there? They sat waiting...while also gathering themselves.
  868. (Mori Reave)
  869. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  870.
  871. [21:27] Aviel is still recovering inside his sphere of water.
  872. (Aviel)
  873. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  874.
  875. [21:41] Yamani would slowly sigh. They had strength left. But it was fleeting. She was still down an arm. And Eztli had also passed out. Luckily the bubble of water would protect him. The team was a mess. Her blade was drawn as she sighed.
  876.
  877. "Mmmm… Alright. I hope that we can get there. One final Push Mori, Aviel. And the spoils of victory is ours.. Let us take it. And bask within all of its glory. Please... Let us end this now and forever.." She begged, the yelling and constant commands.
  878.
  879. It was a cycle that even the strongest of sirens would break to.. Slowly falling towards the Fallen corruption. It felt Ironic the goal that she wanted to attain here... To break those chains. To grow beyond the struggle and commandments that the ancient gods have written for them.
  880.
  881. A blade was pointed towards the red light. Where the voice sourced, the woman's patience was fading. "You will fall here, and now." The young siren would slowly gather herself. As the temperatures would dwindle Forcefully, Forcing the water around even her group to be uncomfortable if they were too close.
  882.
  883. "For, I. Command it."
  884.
  885. "Group. Lets end this."
  886.
  887. She stated, Her mermaid form Zipping towards the red light. Hoping to land a heavy blow against her opponent.
  888. (Yamani)
  889. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  890.
  891. [21:47] {NARRATION} "A shame." The woman would call out.
  892.
  893. The red light would vanish as Yamani attacked, their blow would only strike water. Nothing, the void. And then, the truth would open to them. The darkness would fade. The sunken town would be a city.
  894.
  895. Bodies chained on the walls, glyphs written on the walls of the buildings would be clear. A red meteoriate laid bare in front of them.
  896.
  897. And from beind a woman would walk, her eyes deadset on Mori.
  898.
  899. "Failed. You failed him, our lord, OUR SAVIOR! A shame, a shame, a shame, a shame, a shame. MY BRAIN TREMBLES! OUR LOVE OUR SINGING WAS IT ALL FOR NAUGHT! TRATIOR TRATIOR TRATIOR TRATIOR, TRATIOR! YOU LET THOSE WHO HAVE NOT HEARD HIS VOICE INFLUANCE YOU!"
  900.
  901. She would cackle.
  902.
  903. "Weak willed... you couldn't put your DUTY before your desires."
  904.
  905. She stands before them all with a smile before she speaks once more.
  906.
  907. "You can either join us, or you can die."
  908.
  909. "Don't pick rashly!"
  910. [21:53] Disgust.
  911.
  912. That was all there is to as he looked around to see the bodies chained on the walls, with glyphs and even the meteorite that drew them in such a place, laid bare before them.
  913.
  914. He once again drew both his blades, azure on his left hand and crimson on his right.
  915.
  916. Aviel looked at Mori.
  917.
  918. "I don't know what joining them means," said Aviel, his voice oddly calm before looking around again.
  919.
  920. "But, answer me, captain of the Deep Company. Is this your desire?" he asked with arms open, yet his fists still gripped his blades.
  921.
  922. How he will act will depend on Mori's answer.
  923. (Aviel)
  924. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  925.
  926. [22:01] The young woman would finally see it. A red meteorite was upon the glyphs.
  927. Finally. She saw it, and was filled with a will once more. The traitorous swordsman finally came to his senses. "Such useless drivel." She stated Her icy blade kissing the ground of deep.
  928.
  929. "You barely know him an entity to forward your goals. Much more than a Sirennian cultist. He is firstly, that of a Pirate. And what Mori, will not get? He shall certainly rip, tear and pillage from anyone that won't provide him what he desires."
  930.
  931. A glance was casted before the Mori. And then back towards woman.
  932.
  933. "As for me. I plan to push Sirennia beyond a endless struggle that has plagued us for hundreds of years. As for you, you are in the way of that, and I wish for nothing but to shatter your body whole for pushing against my group."
  934.
  935. "Aviel feels the same. Let us remove this.. Obstacle from our goals."
  936.
  937. She stated. Frozen blades would surround the woman. Amplfied glaciation with galene's winds once more.
  938. (Yamani)
  939. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  940.
  941. [22:05] Failed? No...he had done what he needed to do. He'd almost forgot himself, he was a pirate. They didn't do things for free. Even with their god. Yet here there was a glint of light shining in their gaze. Something dark and festering.
  942.
  943. "Joinin' means they die...If I join, let em walk... That's ma' only deal. After all, ya' need a little excitement in ya' life." A snear drawn across their face in truth as the Orca reloaded that gun-blade of his before a soft click was heard. Staring at the woman before smiling.
  944. Yamani's words ring truthfully before the clicking of a gun-blade being loaded could be heard even in the depths of the sea.
  945.
  946.
  947. "I'll see ya' when he rises. But fer now? Ya' in ma' fuckin' way. I got a treat listin' ta' da' deep...I don't do nothin' ta' get nothin' in return. Da' prince of Kerdanhel sends his regards."
  948.
  949. And with it? Once more were tyrium bullets fired. All the while that single eye of the Orca's sirenian form twitched with anticipation.
  950.
  951.
  952.
  953. (Mori Reave)
  954. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  955.
  956. [22:10] "Good choice," said Aviel, his figure fading away, not even an afterimage as he appeared before the woman with two blades drawn against her throat.
  957.
  958. He had no patience left and his loss against Mori still frustrated him to no end. The ether is forever, the ether is eternal, yet he lost.
  959.
  960. A sign of weakness.
  961.
  962. He could not falter for that failure, but for now? The magi's frustration shall be unleashed against this woman.
  963. (Aviel)
  964. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  965.
  966. [22:18] {Won Dangerous RPB against RETRO DM}
  967. [22:18] ** Yamani has inflicted an injury upon RETRO DM. ("Permanent Injury", "Permanent Injury", "Permanent", "Severity: MODERATE (-10 Vit)") **
  968. [22:31] {Won Restrained RPB against RETRO DM}
  969. [22:38] What hung over the Orca? Was an intense feeling of malicious intent. All things the pirate had done up until this point had been moot. When they picked up that cursed blade? They had sealed their fate.
  970.
  971.
  972. Even now. With Yamani and Aviel holding back the tides, he couldn't let them down. Even with the essence of the deep flowing through him. It was his. Nothing else would deny him of that fact while his blade cleaved closer and closer towards the woman.
  973.
  974.
  975. Only for him to fall...yet he rose once more. With the deep fueling his very being, There was only one thing present in that moment that others could have noticed. An eye. Ever present, ever relenting above the Reave's head. Staring down with its relenting judgement as they hacked away and cleaved.
  976.
  977. And that's what they willed themselves to do. To erase an obstacle. To consume what once was so id better himself. To fester for the deep...
  978.
  979. And to claim hisdark prize after all. Yamani might have found her reward, but here? He gained something far greater. A feast, knowledge, and blood. Oh, so much blood.
  980.
  981. Though no one could blame him for when he too, consumed that poor woman.
  982. (Mori Reave)
  983. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  984.
  985. [22:45] The young woman would continue her advances.. Everything was pushing her efforts towards this woman. Attacking the enemy with cold bursts, allowing Aviel and Mori to be Strike her down. Slow glacial winds would eat against the enemies defenses..
  986.
  987. And when that had happened? It had allowed the two to go even further with their fighting. Allowing Tyruim bullets to shatter frozen skin. "This is IT! The FINAL PUSH!" She yelled. As a blast of Ice send the woman flying. However..
  988.
  989. The woman had fight left in her. The abyssal area draining them of their stamina underwater much quicker than on land. Their blasts of Occultic water would overwhelm her and even Aviel. However, the raw will of the shark..
  990.
  991. "Great job. Im sure we are done here..."
  992.
  993. The one whos heart stuck through for her group... His determination grew beyond what she saw naturally.. However, she finally got the victory, and to no doubt Mori would get he wanted.. However, Cannabalism was disgusting to her no matter who the person. And she wasn't something she enjoyed watching. After her defeat. She closed her eyes and looked away until Mori was finished with his devouring.
  994.
  995. Slowly look towards the red Meteorite upon the wall. Dashing towards the area. And attempting to remove the one that remained upon the wall. Hoping that what was contained either faded or was from a red star. Either or, she hoped the end was near.
  996.
  997.
  998. (Yamani)
  999. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1000.
1001. [22:48] Those waves of water were way beyond Aviel's mastery. How could such a wave be bigger than his?
  1002.
1003. Frustration leading to yet another frustration.
  1004.
1005. However, there was no way he could let himself be upped like that, no?
  1006.
1007. His blades spun about him, resulting to an underwater tsunami that pushed forward, keeping the woman's balance off. To make her go round and round amidst the tornado and water pressure as by-product of the tsunami.
  1008.
1009. But, those of the deep could not so easily be underestimated. It was all for naught and Aviel's frustration increased further; he had limited range to ride the sea of ether.
  1010.
1011. Thus, the water upon where he would show up was still drowning and painful.
  1012.
1013. He was at his wits' end and decided to simply push forward with an all-out attack.
  1014.
1015. Aviel vanished only to appear behind the woman, slashing her legs. Yet that did not stop, he disappeared only to materialize above her, slashing both his blades downward to lacerate her shoulders.
  1016.
1017. Yet that was his limit - as it should be, coughing blood before making his retreat.
  1018.
