Statement about troll nest site

Though I am worried that the trolls could in desperation try to take my life or scorch my parents' house, I know that I am right to make this statement.

You might have heard recently that a couple of the troll nest sites got brought down, thanks to the efforts of somebody named Clara Sorrenti, alias "Keffals" which I will go with in reference to her. What happened is that Keffals had been persistently harassed by the troll nest site, with changing countries doing nothing to help given she was tracked halfway around the world. In response, she set up a campaign against the troll nest site, also involving research that ends up covering THREE suicide victims that the troll nest site is responsible for. This campaign's primary aim was to get the troll nest site's hosts to drop them. Eventually, CloudFlare did that after enough pressure and now the troll nest site's momentum is a mess thanks to them being labeled as a terrorist group. Really, I'm glad the troll nest site's sins are catching up with them.

First thing's first, I am going to talk about one of the suicide victims that Keffals talked about, even though I didn't know ANY of them personally. To be precise, I will talk about David Kirk Ginder, better known as Near or byuu. I bring up byuu because he was the one who made the SNES emulator BSNES, which I actually have used to help me with disassembly, particularly with Secret of Evermore for finding key procedures to decipher and change up in my 25th Anniversary Balance Patch. I can already thank him for providing BSNES even if I still primarily use SNES9X-RR. So while I am not directly affected by byuu's death, that happening at all because of the troll nest site's loads is still worth calling out. At least now with the troll nest site being put on the run, byuu is practically avenged.

Another thing I wish to mention is how Keffals, at one point during one of her recent streams, mentioned about having had to go through having poor sleep until she saw the success of her campaign, and how she's still going to have to go through interviews about the mess. Let me put this out there: 5 years ago, a few months before my mom died at that, I mentioned about somebody who is, or at least was, like Athena Cykes drawing the short straw with cleaning tasks for the involved locale by being given the bulk of bathroom detail, and that I've been willing to help her because of that, only stifled by the root problems behind communication breakdown that I was already complaining about then to make it clear that yes, the video that I have for evidence of this would definitely help with addressing politics around my parents' house, but I'm digressing right now. What I understood then as I do now is that the Genki Girl doesn't have infinite energy, just a lot, although she could very well be applying it surprisingly well. The relevance with this in regards to Keffals is that Keffals had gone through plenty of problems and the statement "no rest for the weary" is going to apply for quite a few reasons that are not worth forgetting, but this IS worth bringing to attention all the same in the interest of consideration if it means figuring out and managing the best solution to this, because the troll nest site's membership is still going to be around; they simply lost an important power base but they can still pull more subtle means of attack, and by the way, I live in California where people just won't care.

This brings up why I am making this statement. I have been a target of the troll nest site, although mercifully a lower tier target than Keffals or byuu where things stand. Still, they have targeted me on ultimately lame excuses, and it has managed to get in the way of my ability to get anywhere in being involved in game design. The fact that the likes of Chucklefish will side with the troll nest site because all they really care about is that quick dollar instead of this novel concept that couldn't possibly last called TLC aggravates this. The troll nest site has additionally fed Magnus Hestveen, better known as "Mangs", so that he could keep getting away with scummy behavior up to and including sexual assault of a sleeping woman at a cross-country convention. I had tried calling out Mangs and his enablers, but there's just too many of the enablers and too few people willing to help me call out Mangs.

I particularly wish to bring up that back in 2020, I made a challenge against the troll nest site, remarking that they could try to hit me with homicide, that they'd be stupid to try that and that they'd be tracked down no matter how much they try to get the whole thing covered up, and, as I said right after the deconstruction of the idea of assassination, that they're not Gods; they're just scumbags hiding within the shadows to throw about their tyranny like the cowards that they are. I was doing this in the midst of when I first came out about my parents' house publicly, something I was doing when I made a public comment blatantly compromising my own position to call out a case of Break The Cutie, one potentially faked at that, I don't know but it's irrelevant anyway on count of OTHER evidence of the involved problems called out in the public comment. I would have gone ahead with talking about my parents' house publicly without the virus mess simply because getting through to the idiots warranting the 60 page document about the politics I've been forced to go through with that were that stubborn, but good GOD was I lucky the virus mess was in gear to make sure that any attempts to arson my parents' house with my dad's ashes inside would have been too conspicuous to have a chance of succeeding any longer. The defiance I showed against the troll nest site back in 2020 is around regardless and the trolls could want to retaliate against me just for that, never mind this statement.

My next point, since I'm on the subject, involves how the reason why I'm going ahead with this statement relates to a conversation I had recently with the leader of a group interested in reforming vanilla TV Tropes--this group is private so of course I won't be mentioning any names directly, but I do have to say something. The leader of the group, on his own initiative, remarked how the troll nest site deserves to go and that they've been causing problems since 2013. Furthermore, I talked with said leader about this subject and when I brought up about Vic Mignogna to contrast him from Mangs, he stated his belief that Vic Mignogna is innocent, and while I am not certain, I know for a fact that Vic Mignogna deserves the benefit of the doubt, far more than Mangs ever did. This is something that vanilla TV Tropes obviously disagrees with because they go after Vic Mignogna far more than they go after Mangs. That's the real hotspot: that the Vic Mignogna mess is irredeemable despite Vic Mignogna showing signs of being decent and ultimately innocent of what he was accused of without proof, simply because Vic would in this case be an exploited figure, as the people on Vic's side generally associated with the troll nest site with nary the smallest sign of shame, while the members of KickVic turn him into drama fodder that corrupts any and all legitimacy in their causes as proven by how they attempted to push their own scam artist agendas backed by power that they happily abuse. Really, IStandWithVic is Texas and KickVic is California. And how apt because they both suck for exploiting double standards. Oh, I need a more familiar analogy? Okay. Let's go with this: IStandWithVic is Freeza and KickVic is Zamasu. I think that makes my case clear.

So it's really welcome to see how the group wanting to reform vanilla TV Tropes is actively against the troll nest site without having KickVic's mob abuse insanity or IStandWithVic's delusions of "entertainment" cut from the same cloth as Mangs' enablers. Oh, and how funny, vanilla TV Tropes hasn't even been talking about this, what the heck? Right, what do I expect from vanilla TV Tropes in their double standards at this point. Then again, the internet has been intent on trying to be like the Wild West, intent on the same lawlessness that you'd already expect from California in their dishonesty as I know from personal experience.

There is one other thing I wish to bring up: a member of the troll nest site, female, had subjected me to trolling via direct contact on instant messaging. I always had my suspicions, of course, so I still managed some caution about her, but let me put it this way: I emphathize with byuu about feelings of loneliness so I can tell you how you want to believe in better things. This trolling I mentioned happened in the early 2010s as well, so it was before the troll nest site started existing in 2013. I bring this up because of advice within one of the documents about the troll nest site advising against making contact with the troll nest site's members. This is impossible to do when you won't know who is or isn't a member of the troll nest site, and moreover when other people simply will not care about underlying problem, which goes to show one thing the campaign, as well as byuu himself, was pointing out: evil triumphs when good people do nothing. Inaction is itself an action. And it shows when I keep going through problems like this when people who should be caring just aren't.

I can further point out about how the harassment that the troll nest site had issued against me is why I had Thumbnailed multiple videos where I was calling out the problems with Mangs with an image pointing to stop censoring a a deleted post by a user named Nyvelion, who was trying to call out abuse against another user. I did the Thumbnailing to call out how the troll nest site was intent on spreading toxicity to the point where they'd encourage others to ignore problems that had been worsened by crossfire. I'm not dropping the Thumbnailing of Nyvelion's still deleted post anyway, even though the responsibility of that post's deletion still lies on Advance Wars By Web's moderators for pulling scorched earth against any reposting of my stuff, obviously to futile effect when Web Archive was a useful thing and I displayed as much on video even assuming Web Archive decided to lock out Advance Wars By Web's forum because they already did that to the troll nest site. But as to the troll nest site itself? They only care to stir up negativity and it even leads them to miss important points. I saw that back in 2020, and I made my clear defiance against them then seeing that as a result then. 2 1/2 years later, they're now powerless. Because they never learn, and now they have had their unearned control privileges that they were drunk on pulled.

When all is said and done, the troll nest site got what they deserved thanks to the efforts by Keffals. And they could try something against me, but the hell I'm backing down. I know I already have enough support to throw off this indisputably vile scum.
