  1. Chapter 6
  2.
  3. >You shift in your bed once, and open your eyes.
  4. >The bright sunlight is hurting your eyes, like a bad hangover.
  5. >Actually-
  6. >You quickly rush to the bathroom, and holding your mouth.
  7. >You duck over a toilet bowl and throw up.
  8. >As you gurgle out your half-digested food, you swear vengeance on Pinkie.
  9. >That explains a lot for what happened last night.
  10. >Funny, you felt fine.
  11. >You groan audibly, before flushing down the bile, not even giving it a second look.
  12. >You trudge out back to your bed, arms hunched forward.
  13. >You honestly felt like shit.
  14. >You slip into the covers, until something cold touches your leg.
  15. >You lazily reach in, and grab the hard shape.
  16. >You quickly pull it out, still too tired to deal with anything.
  17. >You pull out an empty wine bottle.
  18. “Meeeeeh.”
  19. >You ignore the possible implications and throw it over your shoulders.
  20. >You bury your face in the soft pillow, and take in the scent of your own shampoo.
  21. >You turn over to the unoccupied side of your double bed.
  22. >Still with eyes closed, you reach out to grab the other pillow.
  23. >Once you feel something soft, you immediately pull it close.
  24. >You had a terrible habit of hugging something in your sleep.
  25. >You feel four points tugging at your body, and you slowly open your eyes (again).
  26. >”Good morning, Anonymous!”
  27. >Luna smiles.
  28. >You can smell the stench of alcohol in her mouth.
  29. >You cringe.
  30. “Meeeeeeh.”
  31. >You turn over to the other side of the bed, and leave Luna behind.
  32. >Your feet touch the cold floor, and the lukewarm liquid on it.
  33. >You look down to see more vomit.
  34. >You turn to Luna, and she gives you a sheepish smile.
  35. >Back to your feet, and then eyes to the bathroom.
  36. “Meeeeeeh.”
  37. >You grab the brush, and start scrubbing your back.
  38. >You lazily drag it over to your face, scratching it with all of the soapy goodness.
  39. >Blueberry scented body wash, who would have known.
  40. >You step under the warm water to rinse it off, and then you feel a poke on your back.
  41. >You wipe your face with your hand, and turn your head over.
  42. >Surprise, surprise, it’s Luna.
  43. >She grins again.
  44. >You sigh, before applying some more body wash to the brush again.
  45. >You give Luna a single scrub on the face, before going out.
  46. “Meeeeeh.”
  47. “Don’t forget to save the hot water.”
  48. >You go outside, with a towel around your waist.
  49. >You pick out your boxers and throw it to the bed.
  50. >You sling out a pair of dark jeans from your wardrobe, and throw it to the bed.
  51. >That pair of pants took way to long just to get it right.
  52. >Damn these frilly cloth designers.
  53. >You pull out a shirt, and throw it over to the bed.
  54. >There, a set to complete the day.
  55. >After a few minutes, Luna steps out of the bathroom, warm mist quickly filling the room.
  56. >It would have been hot if she was human, but ponies are naked all the time.
  57. >Nope.
  58. >”Anonymous, I-“
  59. >You throw the towel over her face, obscuring her view.
  60. >You take your clothes, and stride into the bathroom.
  61. >SHE GOT THE ENTIRE FLOOR WET
  62. “Meh.”
  63. >You sigh once again and quickly put on your clothes.
  64.
  65. >”Enjoying the breakfast, Anonymous?”
  66. >Celestia takes a bite of a banana.
  67. >You slowly raise your head from your soup.
  68. “MEEEH.”
  69. >”That bad?”
  70. >You look around, watching for any sign of that blue she-devil.
  71. >Coast is clear.
  72. “She. Won’t. Fucking. Leave. Me. Alone.”
  73. >Celestia ‘Ohh’s in a sympathetic manner, before sipping her tea.
  74. >”I’m sorry Anonymous, but this is how it must be for a while, without you around her, Nightmare Moon will return.”
  75. “What about that Elements of Harmony crap?”
  76. >Celestia laughs.
  77. >”Oh, I’m sure they’re busy. Besides-“
  78. >She has her smile again.
  79. >That wicked, evil smile.
  80. >”It’s cute to see my sister finally have someone to dote over.”
  81. “The deviiiiiil.” You say under your breath.
  82. >Wait, where is that-
  83. >”SURPRISE!” Luna jumps to you.
  84. >Your breathing stops for a while.
  85.
  86. >Anonymous fell to his back, tongue drooping out of his mouth.
  87. >Celestia slowly trots over, and gives your arm a little kick.
  88. >You don’t respond.
  89. >”You gave him a heart attack, sister.”
  90. >Luna jumps, and starts hopping around.
  91. >”OHMYCELESTIAOHMYCELESTIA WHAT SHOULD I DOOOO”
  92. >Celestia sighs and rolls her eyes, before her horn starts glowing.
  93.
  94. >”Am I boring you?”
  95. >You shake your head, as if getting up from a sleep.
  96. “Huh? No, not at all.”
  97. >You look around, finding yourself in a street-side café.
  98. >You’re sitting on an outdoor table, table for two, specifically.
  99. >Round, wooden table, chairs too.
  100. >The wood part, not the round.
  101. >You see Luna in her strange dress, that teal shirt.
  102. >Is- is that a red flower on her mane?
  103. >”As I was saying…”
  104. >”SHE DOTES YOU”
  105. >Celestia suddenly pops out of a passing carriage, and the voice circles around you, like an echo.
  106. >Your eyes lose focus over the words.
  107. >DOTEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
  108. >”DOTEEEEEE”
  109. >You see Luna circling you, her head always faced to you.
  110. >”DOTE DOTE DOTE DOTE DOTE DOTE DOTE DOTE”
  111. >You do what you are meant to do.
  112. >Scream like a bitch.
  113. >”DOOOOOOOTTTTTEEEEE”
  114. “AAAAARGH”
  115. >Your arms shoot up, and your legs go twang.
  116. >You see Luna and Celestia looking down on you, both sisters’ face full of shock.
  117. >You cough a few times, and get to your feet.
  118. “W-what happened?”
  119. >”Luna gave you a heart attack.”
  120. >You rest a hand to the table, and balance yourself on it.
  121. “Again?”
  122. >”Sorry…”
  123. >Luna shrinks a bit, but her excited look is still there.
  124. >A demon, you tell to yourself.
  125. >Celestia is almost laughing, containing her dreadful noise in her mouth.
  126.
  127. >You are walking down a hallway, right side lined with long windows.
  128. >Pillars flank the spaces between the windows.
  129. >The other wall is simply blank.
  130. >A beige colored blank.
  131. >You follow a red carpet, set on the center of the room.
  132. >”So, what are we doing today?” Luna skips next to you.
  133. >You sigh.
  134. “No idea. What do you have?”
  135. >”I was thinking of a date to the local café.”
  136. “Uh–huh.”
  137. >”And you can help me raise the moon later!”
  138. “Brilliant.”
  139. >Luna happily ignored your comments, and skipped to the large door.
  140. >You shuffle out to the sunlight, getting the full glimpse of the bright city, Canterlot.
  141. >Your arms are still hunched forward, as you take in the cold mountain air.
  142. >That helped you to cheer up.
  143. >You pocket your hands, as you follow the ever-happy Luna.
  144. >Day five, you suppose.
  145. >Five days of Luna trying to get you.
  146. >Ever since the last episode, Celestia made you move to Canterlot.
  147. >Five days since you were the bastion to Luna’s sanity.
  148. >Five days of demi-god doting over you.
  149. >Five days of hell.
  150. “Oh, go be Luna’s boyfriend, Anonymous, that would be SUPER fun.”
  151. >You mockingly mouth out Pinkie’s words.
  152. >Celestia let them return to Ponyville after day two, thinking you alone is enough.
  153. >Seriously, you can’t even cook.
  154. >Why would the ponies be so trusting to leave the fate of their world on your hands?
  155. >Guards happily greet you as you pass them, and you simply nod.
  156. >You can see them whispering among themselves, those treacherous bastards.
  157. >They always end up giggling to each other, pointing at you.
  158. >You hated that.
  159. >Ever since high-school.
  160. >Damn you, Freddy.
  161. >Luna picks a café by the main road, with a nice view over the expensive carriages.
  162. >It’s like she was trying to tell you something.
  163. >”Am I boring you?”
  164. >You shake yourself from your self-induced stupor, and look to Luna.
  165. >Déjà vu.
  166. >At least she didn’t have her dress with her.
  167. “Huh? No, not at all. Go Moon team, rah.”
  168. >You grin innocently, and take a sip of your tea.
  169. >Luna pouts before going into her stories again.
  170. >Boy isn’t she talkative.
  171.
  172. >You grab a reclining chair, and set it up outside of the balcony.
  173. >You also took a small candle, and placed it on the balcony railings.
  174. >It was thick enough, adorned with fancy carvings on the hard stone- and yet wide and tough enough for you to lean on it.
  175. >Luna trotted next to you and sat down, looking longingly at you.
  176. >”Come on.”
  177. “No.”
  178. >”Please?”
  179. “Uh-uh.”
  180. >And then you see a small flicker in her form, slowing the slit eyes.
  181. >You almost jump off the balcony, and quickly rush to Luna’s side.
  182. “I-I mean of course!” You smile awkwardly as you crouch in front of her.
  183. >You scratch the back of her ear, and she purrs contently.
  184. >She then comes over to the sight of the sunrise, and her horn starts to glow.
  185. >She clenches her eyes shut, and tries hard.
  186. >You see the sun fading away, but it stops half-way.
  187. >You turn to Luna, who was visibly sweating.
  188. >She panted, out of energy.
  189. >”Anon?”
  190. “Yes?”
  191. >”Could you hold me while I raised the moon?”
  192. “Fine.”
  193. >You step off the chair and sit on the floor, right next to Luna.
  194. >You drape an arm over her back, and pull her close.
  195. >She blushes, before her horn lights up again.
  196. >And suddenly, the moon is up in a blink of an eye.
  197. >”Thanks!” She says happily, giving you a peck on the cheek.
  198. >What was that?
  199. >Power of love, baby.
  200. >Oh don’t even start it, Anon.
  201. >The two of slip into each designated side of the bed, and pull the covers at the same time.
  202. >Luna immediately snuggles next to you, wrapping around the closest arm.
  203. >”I really like you, Anon.” She whispers.
  204. >She sighs happily, before nodding off.
  205. >You can’t sleep, and find yourself staring at the ceiling.
  206. >A pony goddess just told you she liked you.
  207. >Why must you choose to be an elitist now?
  208. >You don’t do ponies.
  209. >You turn to see the mare, smiling in her dreams.
  210. >She looks so happy to be with you.
  211. >And you just can’t return that feeling.
  212. >You just feel like an ass now.
  213. >You turn your gaze back to the empty ceiling, and sigh.
  214. >And yet you need to fake it all for the sake of everyone.
  215.
  216. >Everyone.
  217.
  218. >And her.
