Mega Sharpedo pairs very well with Spikes users due to entry hazard stacking wearing down many of it's common checks and counters so it can sweep late-game, and Spikes Greninja is no exception. It pairs excellently with Mega Sharp as it can consistently set up Spikes, and it's coverage threatens many hazard removal options, making your Spikes harder to remove. Greninja also can help take down or cripple some of Mega Sharpedo's checks/counters with it's coverage, such as luring and damaging Tapu Fini heavily with Gunk Shot. This makes Greninja an excellent offensive support Pokémon to tailor a Mega Sharpedo sweep late-game. Good partners for this core would include Stealth Rock users to stack with Greninja's Spikes, such as Landorus-Therian and Nihilego. Switch-ins to threats to this core like Tapu Koko are needed, so Pokémon such as Tangrowth are good partners.
