  357. Walk backwards against the Minor League door to open it without talking to Jolene
  358.
  359. **Notes**
  360. ● Jumping while waiting for the Guards delays him from entering the room. Try to avoid doing any actions during this time aside from equipping badges/changing partners.
  361. ● The fastest way to end a non-attack turn is to swap partners.
  362. ● The fastest way to fulfill "use at least one Special Move" is to fail an Earth Tremor. If you do this, it may be a good idea to appeal on turns where you can't attack, or to use stylish moves to refill your Star Power in case this condition comes up again.
  363. ● Jumping on spiky enemies DOES count towards "take damage at least 5 times." Swapping to Goombella might be a good idea before these fights.
  364. ● Superguarding DOES NOT count as an attack in the event of "don't attack for the first three turns."
  365. ● If you get "don't attack for the first three turns" on any fight, running away DOES NOT fail the condition.
  366. ● If you're overleveled already and you get "don't use items" on a fight where you'd normally use a Fright Mask, you can run from the fight and get a new condition. This wastes about a minute, so it's not recommended unless necessary.
  367. ● If you're ever running from a fight for a different reason, make sure that you fulfill the condition BEFORE running away, or else you will drop a rank and need to refight your last opponents.
  368. ● It's not too common, but the fight order can vary.
  369.
  370. For the 5 fights you use fright masks on, you only have 1 extra. Do not waste your extra unless it is absolutely necessary. You need 1 star point from these battles to not be overleveled, but it is okay to normally kill some enemies. Getting less than 10 extra Star Points will make later fights faster, but is not required.

  412.
  413. Note: If you get “Appeal at least once”, “Appeal 3 times”, “Take damage at least ‘n’ times” or “Use at least 1 special move”, you must fulfill battle condition before you run away or else you will fight rank 12 which is randomly generated between minor league fighters.

  416.

  433.
  434. **#8 Poker Faces**
  435. ● Standard: Quake Hammer
  436.
  437. Note: You’ll want to fail this condition no matter what so you start de-ranking immediately. Getting “don’t use hammer” is good luck here. If you get something like “don’t switch partner out” then swap with partner and then quake hammer. Or if you get “don’t use items” then use your honey syrup. You just have to disobey what he says and figure out the fastest way to beat them.
  438.
  439. Note 2: Sometimes this fight will be Shell Shockers, although it is rare. This is bad luck and you just have to attack them until they’re dead.
  440.
  441. After you get to rank #8, Get Super Hammer
  442. Break the block in the Minor League locker room
  443. Get Dubious Paper confiscated

  454. You’ll want to manipulate your HP to be as low as possible and FP at least 3. You can rest up before Armored Harriers fight and let them damage you a few times to put yourself in a good position.

  456. [section=The Great Tree pt. 2]
  457. Once you are back in minor league, leave Glitzville

  462.

  464.
  465. **If you're not in peril, fall in the water until Mario is at 1 HP**
  466.
  467. Check Charlieton again on your way back. If he’s still not selling **Mega Rush**, then go to the train/blimp area to reset what he’s selling and come back and check. Keep doing this until he has it.
  468.
  469. [section=Glitzville pt. 2]
  470. Advance the first text box once the scene shifts to Glitzville. Wait until Mario starts walking forward towards the Glitz Pit and then continue mashing through text. If you don't do this, then the Guard won't allow you access to Grubba's office.
