	Rosenkrantz_GM	IT IS THE 41ST MILLENNIUM...
	Rosenkrantz_GM	The Imperial blockade above Fascen is threatened by an Ork advance from the edge of the system. Its collapse would mean a swift and brutal conquest by the green horde, and along with it... the loss of the Piety's Charge.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	While the Commodore's forces are engaged in void combat, the Consequence has made its way silently past the engagement zone, to a captured orbital refinery from which the Orks have been stationing their forward advance.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	A tense atmosphere fills the bridge, as a majority of systems stand idle, with only the necessary systems being fully powered.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	Wilhelm stands forward and to the right of the Command Throne, right arm leaning against the railing as he looks over the rest of the bridge from the elevated platform in which he stands.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"We are closing fast into effective weapons range," the First Lieutenant calmly calls.
	Michael	"Any signs of a void shield?
	Makh_Chomun	Makh's arms are folded, one hand rapping his fingers on his arm as he watches the bridge. He's wearing his Arch-Militant uniform with boots and greatcoat and armed for battle.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Without focused augury, that is uncertain."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"And that would give us away," Wilhelm adds to the XO's comment.
	Baine_Mort	"Well we have a few options for doing major damage to this thing."
	Makh_Chomun	"What's the plan then, my lords?"
	Baine_Mort	"Either a full out attack, ore we find a way to board and plant the atomic bomb."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"I believe we should send in a strike team via Drop-pod, disable any shields there may be, then ignite a cache of promethium before evacuating."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Thoughts?"
	Baine_Mort	"Drop-pods would be able to get through any void shields but they would have to have to be aimed precisely."
	Makh_Chomun	"Seems like a whole lot of risk for something like this. What are the chances it's a botch?"
	Baine_Mort	"It all comes down to how well we can position the ship which is going to be challenging."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Well something needs to be done, and i'd rather not be stranded out here with a ork fleet knocking on the door."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"BREAK SILENT RUN PROCEDURES! FULL SCANS ONLINE!" Titus shouts, as a small signature begins to form on the holo-displays.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Give me a focused Augery on the station."
	Makh_Chomun	"Shall I prepare the men for boarding actions then?"
	Rosenkrantz_GM	Indeed, the voidsman's experience serves him well... serves you all well. The station has opened fire, macrocannon weaponry.
	Baine_Mort	mans his station and give commands to get all weapons online.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Do so Makh."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	The blue-violet flickering on the port bow indicates what is confirmed by the reports that come in: three hits. One absorbed by the voidshields, the other two stopped by the Consequence's armor.
	Makh_Chomun	"Very good, m'lord." He bows slightly and moves off to prepare the House Guard. He rattles off orders into his commbead to his leftenants as he leaves the bridge to suit up.
	Baine_Mort	"Well time to see if they have any shields or not."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	Another salvo from the refinery's defensive weaponry - this time, the rounds miss entirely.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Adjust course! give them a broadside!"
	Global	[LordSpookorice] AXETOBERFEST! Tomorrow: Wrong Game (ASL)
	Josef	connects to the console using his MUI to give orders to the Engine Room to increase speed.
	Baine_Mort	With the ship turned, Mort has the port Las-broadside fire onto the station, causing damage to the station as three of the five shots hit the hull. "Well looks like they do have void shields."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	The station returns fire with as much inaccuracy as the last salvo, as the Consequence maneuvers to close on its target.

	Makh_Chomun	Much gusto and flamboyancy (those lessons are really helping) in his speeches and bullying as he assists in  encouraging the crews of the guns over the vox sysstems of the ship, Something about having to re-live his last dramatic visit to the gun-decks but with armsmen this time.

	Rosenkrantz_GM	The Consequence's focused augury is sharp and unrelenting. Its systems are able to view everything in the station: Station Genatorium, Multiple Void Shield Array, Vitae Pattern Life Sustainer, Stationmaster Bridge, 2 Keel Mars Pattern Macrocannons, Prow Kannonz, Keel Starbreaker Lance Weapon, 3 Civitas Decks, Docks, Hydroponics Decks, 3 Promethium Storage & Refinery Hubs.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	bellows across the bridge "Change course and adjust speed for boarding action!"
	Baine_Mort	is now able to open fire with both batteries on the ship but this time is unable to punch through the void shields.
	Josef	triggers a communication jam on the enemy station.
	Makh_Chomun	Makh feels and hears  a momentous crash and thunk as his boarding craft slams into place and locks in. The melta's fire as do the charges, and the ramp doors slam down. The sights and smells that greet him are the usual, viscera, gunpowder smoke, fire, and the smells of another ship, or in this case a station. He wades in and leads his men from the front. Later on he finds they did a superb...
	Makh_Chomun	...job in lighting on fire and damaging their targets.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	There is little more fierce and unforgiving as an uncontrolled promethium fire. The flames spread to every one of the storage and refinery hubs, safety mechanisms incapable of containing the inferno. No doubt the myriad heresies comit against the station's holy mechanisms are now punished by the Omnissiah, as one of the containment units finally explodes. From the bridge of the Consequence,
	Rosenkrantz_GM	it manifests as a single, enormous towar of spiraling flame bursting like a propulsion cone, piercing through the bulkheads, ejecting crew, atmosphere and flame alike from the poorly mounted ork Kannonz.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	The response from the macrocannons is rendered entirely ineffective amid the panick.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	The Orks, try as they might, are unable to contain the flames, and now the docks on the station are engulfed.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	What at first appears to be another retaliatory firing of the macrocannon batteries, is quickly revealed to be yet another sign of the spreading flames which have now reached the weapons decks.
	Makh_Chomun	"I think we outdid ourselves there, Downfield." He says to his leftenant, ork blood covering his helm and chest plates.

	Makh_Chomun	+Gonna be one hell of a party when we finish this whole fleet action.+
	Josef	inputs new commands to the engine room.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Mighty Lord-Commander, Master At Arms, and Greenskin Cook, extraordinaire!" Downfield announces mocking the style of the dynastic heralds.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"I think we might be done here, return us to the blockade before we draw any unwantedattention."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	+I'll buy you a drink for your work.+
	Baine_Mort	open up on the station with the broadside hitting with two shots as they both pass through the flickering void shield caused by all the damage so far.
	Makh_Chomun	guffaws. "Stop leftenant! My ego will grow too large for my station." He grins, though his helmet is still on.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	The Orks gather themselves somewhat, and are able to put out the fires on the station's docks.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	They continue to fire back, but again and again the Consequence's mighty armor belt takes the fire handsomely.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Looks like they are regrouping, turn and give them a couple goodbye rounds."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	The Consequence's point-blank fire adds to the devastation. The voidshields are disabled by the barrage, as is the Genatorium - the orbital refinery is now without power.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	With the promethium fires continuing to spread, and the mechanisms to help contain them now further affected by the lack of power, the station descends into complete chaos.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"The Commodore is hailing us, Captain."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Patch him through."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	++Captain Friedrich...++ the Commodore appears to be out of breath as his voice is transmitted to the bridge.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	+Yes Lord Commodore?+
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Lord-Captain, surely." Wilhelm interjects.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	rolls his eyes at his Uncle before turning his attention back to the commodore
	Rosenkrantz_GM	++Whatever it is you're doing, it's got these damnable beasts rather upset. They have split their forces, with half turning to you.++
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Half..." Wilhelm repeats.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Titus, I want us gone."
	Makh_Chomun	tromps onto the bridge, not even having bothered to wipe the drying ork blood off his armor. Not to mention the smells of promethium, gunsmoke and the ozone smell of a power weapon.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	+Well, I guess now would be an appropriate time for a counter offensive since they have lost half their combat ability, don't you think Lord Commodore?+
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"And /that/ is the sort of tactical genius that runs in the Rosenkrantz line!" the Rogue Trader evokes as he turns to see his Lord-Protector enter.

	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Lord-Captain."
	Makh_Chomun	removes his helmet with a hiss of pressure. "You are much too kind, my lord. I have to say though, the orks are not very keen on fire." His grin is big and stupid, a very Makh-grin.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Damned good work, Makh! Emperor be praised, that was magnificent!" Wilhelm slaps Chomun on the side of his arm.
	Makh_Chomun	"Quite the fireworks display, eh?"

	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Shame about the Promethium, though. Now that I'm something of an expert on the matter, I'm sure that could have turned a pretty penny in the Koronus markets."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Bring Marius! I want the boy to see this, and know the power of the Dynasty."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	It seems the call was unnecessary, as the young lord walks in, with a full squad of House Guardsmen in tow, holding a pendant of the holy Aquila.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Ah, there you are!" Wilhelm calls, beckoning his nephew.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	Young Marius nods his head, but in truth his attention is glued to the Lord-Protector.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"What happened to him?"
	Makh_Chomun	gives the little lord a white-toothed grin despite the blood and smell of his armor. His hair is matted in sweat and his face is flushed from the "exercise": from earlier, but Makh is in excellent condition.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"War."
	Makh_Chomun	"I kill the things that go bump in the night and laugh while doing it, little lord."
	Josef	"Ashame we were unable to use our newest asset."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	His young eyes then turn to the viewports, and the sight of the ravaged orbital station.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Titus, status on our pursuers?" he say, before turning and giving the young lord a smile and nod
	Baine_Mort	"Yea, would of been great to see even brighter fireworks."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Who did that?" he points
	Josef	"We did, young Lord."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"It was a collective effort. Spearheaded by the good Lord-Protector."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Cruiser-sized voidship closing in at the lead. I can't account for its speed, Captain." Titus says, eyes fixed on the displays.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Wilhelm you may never take him back."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Are we able to outrun them?"
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"We will need set course away from the planet," Titus nods.
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Is it possible to lead them away from the fighting while still keeping  safe distance?"
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"I am not an expert on Ork behavior, I couldn't say."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Pull us away from the planet, but keep the station as a buffer between us. Let us see what they are really after."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Helm! Adjust bearing; line up course with the station and Fascen. Maintain course at full speed and await further orders!"
	Rosenkrantz_GM	The plasma engines burn hot, and the Consequence finds its course. Meanwhile, the Ork battlegroup presses on, answering to whatever signal they received from the orbital refinery.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Commodore is reporting the blockade is beginning to reform, Captain."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	After traversing for some time, the Consequence slows her engines, and resumes its Silent Running protocols.
	Makh_Chomun	leaves the bridge and gets himself and his armor cleaned up. He arrives back on the bridge after a shower and fresh uniform, a cup of recaff in one hand.
	Josef	heads back to his office and continues his work.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Captain, it appears as though the Orks have gathered their ships around the station. Patroling craft are being sent outward, but the bulk of the force has surrounded the refinery in a protective pattern."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Any idea on the condition of the station?"
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Thermal scanners on display." Titus calls to the aetherics station.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Bright and beautiful," Wilhelm comments.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	But the bright glow of the station is not the only thing that the thermal scans display.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	Several signatures are being tracked, no doubt the burning engines of a squadron of patroling ork voidships.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	Worse, a third, much bigger signature approaches from a wide angle, as though to approach from your flank.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Patrol squadrons. Keep it steady."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Imperial identifiers..."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Get Marius somewhere safe now."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	looks to Wilhelm "Beware the young Lord."
	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Lord Chomun, take as many of the House Guard as you need, and keep Marius out of sight. Tell no one of his whe---"  Wilhelm is interrupted by a breech alert.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	++Captain...++ the Chief Bosun calls from an emergency channel.

	Josef	starts heading towards the Enginarium.

	Rosenkrantz_GM	A low rumble shakes the deckplate below your feet.
	Baine_Mort	grabs his bolt pistol and shotgun and readies them.

	Rosenkrantz_GM	"Get me an astropath. Now."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	nods to a nearby crew member to contact the Austropath tower
	Josef	heads towards the Containment valves. ++My lords, they have damaged the containment valves of the Plasma Engines.++
	Rosenkrantz_GM	A call is put through to the Astropathic Choir.

	Baine_Mort	"Captain, what are your order?"

	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"Barricade the bridge, and send a warning along all channels for loyal crew members to arm themselves and protect the Rogue Trader and young Marius at all costs."
	Friendrich_Von_Rosenkrantz	"I'm going to see what the hell is happening on my ship." he says, strapping into the rest of his armor before making his way to the Enginarium
	Baine_Mort	"You are not going alone captain." Mort says as he follows.
	Rosenkrantz_GM	An escort of armsmen brings in an astropath, who Wilhelm drags over to one side to contact the Aurorae.
