  1. [20:33] Moshuigen Kodeka says, "I see you."
  2. [20:33] Eeeks! Rushing off as quickly as he could.
  3. (Seshu)
  4. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  5.
  6. [20:33] Hmph
  7. (Seshu)
  8. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  9.
  10. [20:33] Moshuigen doesn't even bother trying to catch the fucking thing. Too fast.
  11. (Moshuigen Kodeka)
  12. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.
  14. [20:38] Out searching for ores, the wolf seemingly ran into trouble. Watching from behind a nearby tree, the wolf kept concealed. Shadow-walking through the night as Ixchels warrior.
  15.
  16. However with all the chaos rummaging the lands thus far.
  17.
  18. Who was the real enemy?
  19.
  20. Regardless, there was little thought behind his actions, fleeing as quickly as the wolf was acknowledged by others. Taking off in full-force. Barely seeing what was ahead of him, he stopped at a clearing.
  21.
  22. "Hm?"
  23.
  24. An immediate notice was taken, slipping into a nearby set of trees. Slouched over a bush, the wolfs gaze slipped past. Watching the events occur. In the pit of his stomach a knot like sensation built up.
  25. (Seshu)
  26. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  27.
  28. [20:39] Every step the Qilin took was filled to the brim with confidence. Her shoulders are tight and militaristic, holding a longbow in one hand. Holy energies can be seen radiating from the Qilin, giving a looming sense of sanctity.
  29.
  30. Yet in such purity, something vile lingered, and she could feel it. Her attention snaps but another direction, as she can be seen making a straight march to the vampire, and their accomplice.
  31.
  32. She wore heavy clothing, a kimono with a red overcoat. It seemed padded-- Armored, even, as unblinking blue orbs leer at the two. That lingering holy energy only grows, as does the static-- and the temperature of the clearing could almost seem to grow.
  33.
  34. "Identify yourselves." A booming, commanding voice would fill the clearing.
  35. (Moshuigen Kodeka)
  36. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  37.
  38. [20:45] Waltzing through the woods, they stopped; Gaiar Aetherius, fragmented ruins of the once great city were everywhere. Broken constructs were practically everywhere- and picked clean by scavengers by now. The Invidia stopped at a nearby patch of grass, flora, and flowers. She had followed the exorcist in front of her for a decent bit now, deciding that they wanted to either go visit Gaiar or to visit a nearby waterfall within it.
  39.
  40. Most of it was to find Jianghese and other enemies that had wandered much too far from their homes. Just as the thought of giving up on this fruitless expedition had set foot in her mind, a vision was seen! The Invidia closed her eyes and- wait, no, no. This was no imagination-fueled day-dream. This was real! The former Kitsune quaked within her boots and stared ahead at the blue-lined creature before her.
  41.
  42. Priscilla blinked a few times. The thoughts of revenge and hatred that were kept just for a moment like this (Meeting another Qilin) would soon be tempered. They grew and grew. Neither of them would get past without a fight. For now? Priscilla would contain her urges to inflict suffering to the ones that had done the same to her. Or at least ones who were connected to the place that did such.
  43.
  44. "Identify? Me? Aww, golly, jee, gosh. Maybe if you're nice and give me a name first, I'll give you mine. Isn't that how trading works around these parts?"
  45.
  46. Her voice was over-ecstatic and joyful, very obviously faked. A smile crept upon her lips as she placed an arm to hang on her partner's shoulder.
  47.
  48. "And who are you?"
  49. (Priscilla Invidia)
  50. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  51.
  52. [20:53] Moshuigen had no temperament for games like these. She answered to none-- None but the glorious Emperor, whom had imparted this new life to her. This being's mere presence sullied such a divine creatures-- A rat, compared to a phoenix. Beauty-- Yet this red eyed, fanged menace...? Depravity poured from it.
  53.
  54. She knew what must be done-- Despite having been given her new life but mere months ago, even for her ill understanding of Agartha... This being must be exterminated, she could feel that within her very soul.
  55.
  56. Bright blue eyes come to a shutter, as the bow is raised. Fingers lightly hook about the drawstring, as a calm expression raises to this... Being. Her purple hair spilled over her shoulder, resting upon the fabric of her heavy attire.
  57.
  58. "I am Moshuigen Kodeka, Qilin of the Emperor. Identify yourself, now." She would say, in the same, firm voice she had before... Yet there was no hostility in it. Simple tranquility, behind an icy blue glare.
  59.
  60. While the drawstring was not yet pulled back, it almost seemed as if the bow may as well have been drawn.
  61. (Moshuigen Kodeka)
  62. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  63.
  64. [20:59] Their placid stroll through the plains with the scattered, ruinous vestiges of the old Gaiar settlement bestrewn among foliage and shrubbery is interrupted by the swift dash of someone with zeal and purpose in their steps. The figures that intercept Un-wol and Priscilla are met with a cold pair of emerald, viperine eyes.
  65.
  66. His plus one's comments make him give a bemused smile before turning to address the duo that had ruined their little mood.
  67.
  68. Bathed in holy light the Qilin may be, but Un-wol seemed to exude a lingering, dangerous pressure of similar attributes - divine and retributive, but he merely stands beside Priscilla, always smiling.
  69.
  70. Why, he seemed friendly for a moment.
  71.
  72. Perhaps it would give them the illusion that he was held captive.
  73.
  74. "A Qilin of the emperor," he repeats immediately after the bow-wielding woman speaks, the smiling tug at the corner of his lips stretching further. "Please help me, strangers, I'm beingheld captive...!"
  75.
  76. It was a glaring lie, but Un-wol's inner showman simply couldn't resist when given the opportunity.
  77.
  78. "Oh noo, what should I ever do.."
  79. (Un-wol B. Invidia)
  80. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  81.
  82. [21:08] The Blessed of Cain's smile only grew wider, and wider. Her smile conveyed the look of a wolf's own. Her pink optics stared at the Qilin with an intensity impossible to be made by any normal man or woman. Priscilla Invidia was no normal 'woman', for she was a predator now. And a predator had to have eyes to fit.
  83.
  84. She thought for a moment. Perhaps they weren't all that different? One blessed by some sort of 'god', while another was blessed by a prophet. The Vampire opened her mouth to chuckle- chuckling at a joke that had never been made. No, how foolish to think so. The two were nothing alike.
  85.
  86. "Mosh- Kodeka. Qilin of the Emperor. That wasn't so hard now was it?"
  87.
  88. Carried on the gusts of air, Priscilla pushed forward to hover nearer to the Qilin. Even with her bow readied, no sense of fear emanated from the Vampire.
  89.
  90. "Qilin. Phew. That calls for a response, doesn't it?"
  91.
  92. Having met face-to-face with one who supposedly prided themselves in being such a creation, Priscilla had to up the ante! Her fangs were bared, glistening, sharp.
  93.
  94. "Priscilla Invidia, Harbinger of the end-times. Ehehehehhe."
  95.
  96. A little joke. Neo had always wanted her to quake the world one way or another.
  97.
  98. "Harbinger of the next generation, I should say."
  99.
  100. With that said, Priscilla returned to Un-wol, hovering back, but this time descending to fall to the floor rather than keep afloat. Two hands were placed on both hips, ready for a response to come from the Qilin. Her foot tapped the grass impatiently. The Vampire's maw opened ever so slightly, a red velvet tongue showing between tooth and fang, rubbing between the creases and gums.
  101.
  102. "I had a meeting scheduled today, y'know? I think you were the one I was supposed to meet, hmm? I did know that I was going to deal with vermin, after all."
  103. (Priscilla Invidia)
  104. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  105.
  106. [21:18] * You have been awarded 1.5 Roleplay Points! *
  107. [21:19] The two of them... They were enemies. They were foreigners-- Interlopers of another land, stepping foot on soil that Moshuigen wished to cleanse... Yet one cannot clean, when the rats nest is still existing-- And so, so close. The Qilin stared back with an intensity of her own-- Yet her gaze did not contort. Stern, with furrowed brows. Leering sapphires that locked onto the vampire in specific-- This theatrical could be dealt with later, as well as the acting Passionist.
  108.
  109. Priscilla Invidia." Was spoken flat, in a dead tone.
  110.
  111. The bow sticks on Priscilla, following her as the vampire floats around with... Whatever forces. It was just as Priscilla had thought-- The two were nothing alike.
  112.
  113. The drawstring of the bow would be slowly yanked back, allowing an enlarged gathering of mana-- Exorcist mana, as well as the growing static and heat that seemed to follow the girl. They combine in the space between bow and drawstring, before taking the shape of a very large arrow-- A spear, more accurately.
  114.
  115. Vermin. This woman wished to intrude on her unclaimed territory that her Emperor hadn't quite given to her... Yet it was still something she wished to protect, for her people.
  116.
  117. That is why, whatever this creature in front of her... It was a threat. She would dispose of it, for that was the sole purpose of her blessing.
  118.
  119. Blue orbs shutter with a low exhale, waiting for Priscilla to move.
  120.
  121. "You shouldn't be here. Go now, or face the wrath of the Emperor."
  122. (Moshuigen Kodeka)
  123. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  124.
  125. [21:22] Listening to the conversation pass, the knot in his stomach tightened with every waking moment. Violent red eyes pulled the wolfs attention despite all the bickering.
  126.
  127. "Immortal. . ."
  128.
  129. The wolf spoke in hushed breathes. Bating away the itch that came with moving. Take action.
  130.
  131. With Huangs intervention already underway, the wolf while tempted to leap in. Didn't seem immediately prone to action. Withholding the growing urges that ticked away.
  132.
  133. Every heavy breathe, every second passed. The natural undoing, the blessings that tied him to ixchel were being woven.
  134. (Seshu)
  135. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  136.
  137. [21:27] Un-wol's figure lifts up, suspended by unseen forces as well. His version is truly unnatural, a reversion of gravity granting him aerial buoyancy, but less so than Priscilla's way of doing it. Her power relied on the pure rejection of the worldly matters. His lay upon controlling it. The lifestream even seemed to cry under the weight of his will, just ever so faintly, and the arcane imprint on his chest vibrates in futile resistance against his entire existence itself, managing to only seal a portion of his strength. He clears his throat, merely watching as the Qilin aims her bow at his spouse, blinking. He looks to Priscilla, clearing his throat again.
  138.
  139. "How dangerous... careful now, Qilin of the Emperor!" he states in an alerted timbre, hugging himself. "You might hit me."
  140.
  141. He'd noticed that Priscilla wanted to toy with the woman, and he wasn't one to rain on her parade. This was not his game to hunt. His vague smile grows slightly, the emerald eyes above go half-lidded.
  142. (Un-wol B. Invidia)
  143. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  144.
  145. [21:31] Akane says, "Aw man. I hope they don't fight and ruin how pretty this forest is."
  146. [21:32] Priscilla Invidia. A name that brought music to her ears. Hearing her own name being spoken by a Qilin? Someone from Huangzhou? Pure euphoria that was. They might have heard news here and there about Priscilla, but nothing about what had just occurred only a few months ago.
  147.
  148. This would be the first test of her abilities. Priscilla pressed her tongue outwards, licking her lips in a satisfactory manner. Pure intimidation, truly. She doubted that it would work on one such devoted to their god however. A sad truth. This might have been the day that something more exquisite and refined could be sampled of course, but that would come after a battle; they wouldn't submit obviously.
  149.
  150. Her pink hues eyes the bow's charging energies condensing and forming into an arrow. Something much too large to be called a regular arrow. A spear? Javelin?
  151.
  152. "Wrath of the Emperor? I wonder what that would entail. One thing you get wrong, dear Qilin, I won't be facing any sort of wrath today. Quite the opposite."
  153.
  154. From behind her, a weapon is drawn- a dull and wooden sword that could fit a child. It was definitely strange, and seemed like it would break upon the slightest pressure from her grip, yet it didn't. Miasma of toxin surged through the air, wreathing her weapon in horrible mist.
  155.
  156. "Your kind. They do not please me. With what they have taken from me, it is something that cannot ever be repaid. That is why -you- will be the first to experience what a real Vampire can do."
  157.
  158. Priscilla began to glare. A smile no longer adorned her face. It was as if all of the feelings that she had previously shown were completely depleted. Gone.
  159.
  160. The wooden sword was raised at the Qilin.
  161.
  162. "I will take what you owe me."
  163. (Priscilla Invidia)
  164. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  165.
  166. [21:39] Moshuigen Kodeka whispers something.
  167.
  168. [21:43] Those intense, blue eyes come to soft close. Wind blows through pursed lips, sounding much more like sigh than anything. However, as those eyes open once more, the beautiful blue leylines that rest on her form shimmer, as Mana begins to flood through them.
  169.
  170. Heatwaves begin to float from the ruins below, thrumming off the stones as more and more mana flows from the blue lines.
  171.
  172. "....Vampire."
  173.
  174. It was all she said, as one foot would slide behind the other into a wide stance. Behind closed teeth, a prayer is uttered. Short and sweet-- As she had hoped for this execution to become.
  175.
  176. "You are owed nothing..."
  177.
  178. "Priscilla Invidia, you are hereby sentenced to death. You are a danger to my people-- I cannot allow you to leave here."
  179.
  180. There is no further warning. The gathered energy that had formed within the bow is fired-- Sent flying at Priscilla as if it were a bolt of lightning.
  181.
  182. (Moshuigen Kodeka)
  183. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  184.
  185. [21:45] With every waking moment, his gaze was held fast upon the vampiric being. Taking into account their partner, the wolf could only, but feel his urges arise.
  186.
  187. What was once a typical bush was rustling to life.
  188.
  189. Hunched over a hand pressed against his chest. A hunger unknown to him till now, taking shape in sharpened fangs. Extended claws to which dug deep into the earths surface.
  190.
  191. Tearing patches of grass, fighting against the urge to reveal himself, but to no avail.
  192.
  193. The deities influence was overbearing. Overtaking the simply thoughts.
  194.
  195. "There are only. . . Two In-just here."
  196.
  197. Violent scowls, howling erupted and from behind the bush. The panthers blessed wolf marched forward. An original aim came into focus when visualizing the vampires death.
  198.
  199. Ripping from his side a combat style dagger. Winter would rise through the moonlight hunt.
  200.
  201. Whomever he could manage to land blows with mattered not at this point. Nearly forgetting their partner when struck by a state of pandemonium.
  202. (Seshu)
  203. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  204.
  205. [21:54] Un-wol's placid expression ripples with surprise when he senses and hears something nearby--a stray shrub seemed to morph into a figure that had hitherto gone unnoticed. While the winds whispered to him that something had been amiss, it hadn't struck him that someone had been eavesdropping on their little run-in with the Qilin.
  206.
  207. "Oh, a worm has appeared it seems," he lightly calls out with laughing undertones in his voice.
  208.
  209. The feral boy's withdrawal of a dagger as he approaches, and the general vibe in his posture and the vulpine ears atop his skull, was a big enough tell to Un-wol. This was no friendly entity, apparently. The young blonde magi chuckles, retreating slightly as the other nears.
  210.
  211. The typical reaction most would have in such a situation was to avoid being blindsided.
  212.
  213. A swathe of golden electricity surge along the ground towards Seshu, seeking to intercept his advance. Afterwards, Un-wol would simply retaliate, seekingto repel the assumedly mute wolven spirit-blessed. Despite his injury, Un-wol could still cause the land to shake.
  214.
  215. The moment he releases his energy, the sky above rumbles with latent thunder, emitting faint howls in the wind that slowly picks up in pace. Emerald, viper-like eyes sharpen to a point upon the wild Ookami as they engage.
  216. (Un-wol B. Invidia)
  217. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  218.
  219. [22:00] ** Un-wol B. Invidia has inflicted an injury upon Seshu. ("Permanent Injury", "Permanent Injury", "Permanent", "Severity: MODERATE (-20 Vit)") **
  220. 22:19] One could say that it was an unwarranted assault. Un-wol, despite retaliating in what most would refer to as an act of self-defense, actually remains entirely unhostile towards the young Seshu. As the other's mirage-like figure speeds from tree to tree to assail him from every blindspot while also employing smoke bombs to rob him of sight, Un-wol's largest sign of aggression is a petulant grunt.
  221.
  222. No, he's enjoying himself. The hostility by the other is truly a welcome change. Un-wol's lips are split into a wide grin throughout the fight as he simply levels the trees around through either a field of amplified gravity or a strike of golden thunder from the sky above. While he lacked sight, his other senses remained in tact fortunately.
  223.
  224. Having had enough at one point, soon finding his mithril torso armor strewn with large cuts and the underclothes rent with smaller flesh wounds, Un-wol floats up to evade Seshu's final charge before preparing something that would literally change the landscape.
  225.
  226. An abnormal amount of magical energy gathers upon his figure, converging into what was the equivalent of a gravitational anomaly - a black hole. The air whistles as a suction force from the supernatural calamity tugs at every object and creature in the area, threatening to uproot and devour unanimously. Meanwhile, the thunder in the skies strike down haphazardly, bending as they travel from the additional pull exerted upon them by the black hole - and soon the field comes under literal heavenly, unpredictable mortar fire.
  227.
  228. Perhaps Seshu could escape, but the danger was very real. The chances of injury were undeniable.
  229. (Un-wol B. Invidia)
  230. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  231.
  232. [22:27] Despite invoking his devotion to the very kami's that blessed him, thick through his blood ran that of each race. A linage of such that left him as the lone pup.
  233.
  234. Sent off to scavenge, only to become something more. Merely a wanderer, left in the wake since the panthers assault. Answering the call, he need not be a nagual to understand what was required of him to restore balance to the lands.
  235.
  236. And so he went forward, unyielding in his assault. Forging through hellish landscape, bread by the vampiric supporter. Swapping between arsenals and casting out shuriken's, kunai's.
  237.
  238. None of which seemed to matter.
  239.
  240. Broken by the insurmountable gap in experience. While powerful, swift. A lack of, is what now lead him to staring in awe towards the sky. Waves of energy sent scattered in his direction.
  241.
  242. Immediately, he switched into flee mode. Lunging through the trees, dashing past strikes, nicking parts of his flesh, craters caused by the explosions. Nimble footing nearly saved the wolf, he could nearly have walked this encounter off in a year or two.
  243.
  244. Instead, his lack of worth in the eyes of Saekanis would prove otherwise, punished for poor display in combat. The judgement came when he'd leapt from a nearby branch, launching off to escape.
  245.
  246. Only to be pierced in the shoulder, sent dragging a few ways forward from the sudden collusion in momentums. Regardless of the wolfs intentions by this point, he was long gone.
  247. (Seshu)
