  1. So why it took so long?
  2.
  3. Despite all what you might've think, this mod was for the most part a one man show, I doesn't mod every day and my motivation drops here and there thanks to various things that happened over the years,
  4.
  5. RL matters (such as saying goodbye to my dog) and other things took my focus away, and unfortunately I was (and still am at times) being treat horribly by some other people on the modding community,
  6.
  7. The sad truth is that many modders out there are full of ego and not exactly like to cooperate with just anyone,
  8. don't get me wrong though as there are also many lovely people out there too,
  9. but sadly some of the elites are rooted apples that would like see me go away from the modding scene which not exactly helps rise my motivation.
  10.
  11. Lastly when I was out of motivation, I was still helping many other people over the years with their own mods behind the scene,
  12. some disappered, some stayed, and some even credited me for it ahah (though a small amount of them I believe xP),
  13. but it also resulted in me not focusing on my own mod and even giving away some of my ideas or assest to others,
  14. so if you played Big Bang and happend to see something that you already saw on other mods over the years, there's a chance I either did it first (like "first" with the intention of releasing it publicly) or that it came from my end to those modders in one way or another (depends on what of course, I'm not trying to say I'm the creator of the universe xD).
  15.
  16. One of the people I've taught how to mod also turn out to be some sort of an assets and ideas "borrower" which also ruin my motivation cause considering how my own mod wasn't even released yet and all, I was worried people may think *I* was the "borrower" instead and not the other way around.
  17.
  18. So seriously a lot has happened behind the scene, and as time moved on new modders came around, some whose I've helped and some I don't even know,
  19. I was glad to see the KW's modding scene lively as ever but sadly it's also came with its own price, my own mod look less relevent as new ones came by,
  20. and the elite modders treated nearly anyone else with generosity and praise as long as they weren't me (even if these newcomers did the exact same thing or surpassed me with stuff such as bugs fixing) and that didn't exactly helped my motivation either seeing how there were obvious difference in the way I was treated,
  21.
  22. But I've swallowed it all for the sake of somehow enjoying my hobby and I do want to see new people come around into the modding scene so I hold my pride and kept moving on (albeit slowly, cause after all of that s@it anything else I could've done with my free time looked ten times more fun).
  23.
  24. Why I'm telling you all of this though?
  25. Cause I want you to know what you could potentially encounter if you will decide to go into the modding scene yourself, there will be Ups and Downs but some of them could come from the modding environment and not from the wall that you're currently facing as you mods the game,
  26. so tread carefully and don't forgot to always have fun or it will be pointless :)
