Smokeless: [ok sorry i got everything now im posting]
Smokeless: Dori paced back and forth in the kitchen looking down at a piece of paper. The sound of her heels clicking agianst the tile floor echoed through the kitchen. she sighed as she spoke to herself."and further more I believe I will be a great team player...no no no that isn't right.." she grabbed the pen that was behind her ear and scribbled over the words she had written down.
Tsaaq: Hayley drove up to OCH with her music playing loudly. Her body lurched forward as she parked. She shut off the vehicle and climbed out before opening her back doors to grab her shopping bags. Hayley lugged the heavy grocery bags and went to manuver her keys into the door.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam sat in his room on his couch bed, his body slouched all the way backwards to prop against the pillows behind him with one of his books in his lap. His thumb was wedged between the pages to keep the book open, his eyes focused down into the pages intently as they flicked back and forth over the words, his free hand absently stroking Lady who was lying next to him.-
Smokeless: Dori heard someone at the door and raised a brow looking up. She walked out of the kitchen to the livingroom opening the door seeing it was Hayley. She left the door open and walked away sighing some. She  shook her hands some to shake the nervs off.
Tsaaq: She kicked the door closed before putting the bags on the counter hurriedly. Hayley went back to the door and made sure it was locked before she went towards the stairs. She jogged to the second story and knocked on the wall near Adam's curtain. "Abs?"
Alexithymiaa: -Finishing up the sentence he was reading, he slowly lowered his book into his lap, his eyes looking over toward the curtained doorway when he heard Hayley's voice. "Yeah?"-
Smokeless: Dori rolled her eyes moving her laptop and figured now she would have to go into her room and be annoyed by Jade. She huffed and grabbed her stuff out of the kitchen and headed to her bedroom. She set her laptop on the bed and looked at the time waiting for her skype interview for a new job she was very much looking forward to.-
Tsaaq: Hayley pulled the curtain aside a bit. "You busy...?" She asked quietly. "You mind if I come in?" She went to lean on the opening of his bedroom doorway.
Alexithymiaa: 'No, I was just reading." He said as he reached for his bookmark, sliding it between the pages of his book and setting the book down next to him on the couch bed. "What's up?"-
Smokeless: Dori  sat down checking herself in a mirror one last time and heard her laptop ringing. Her heart began to beat a mile a mintue and she answered the call smiling."Hello" She looked at the woman on the other side who seemed to be in a office."hello Dori is it yes here is the application. Sorry we couldn't meet in person but duty calls." The woman's british ccent rang through the laptop speakers."Oh no worries at all I don't mind." The woman nodded smiling back and Dori seemed to loosen up slightly she plaaced the paper she had written up on the keyboard as the questions started to roll.-
Tsaaq: She bit her lip as she anxiously went to plop down beside him. She went to pat Lady and smiled over to him. "Nothing... Just, wanted to hang out cause I missed you or whatever." Hayley shrugged her shoulders.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh." He said with a small laugh, pulling his arms into his lap to rest comfortably. "Well we do live together. You can see me whenever you want. You know that, right?"-
Smokeless: Dori finished up the interview with a smile."Well dori  you seem like the perfect for woman for the job. I should be in the office next tuesday we will get you squared away and you will start work wednesday. Does that work for you?" Dori couldn't smiling like a big cheeseball."Oh that is perfect for me I look forward to it thank you bye bye." she hung up the call and got up walking back out to the kitchen with her phone in her hand texting her mom. she grabbed the cookie dough she had been hiding and a sheet pan to make cookies because she felt she deserved it.
Tsaaq: Hayley bit the inside of her cheek as she looked him over. "Right. I've just been busy all weekend..." She trailed off. "Working with Professor Skyye for Remy's wedding music." She said. "Do you like what I did to my hair?" She asked, clearly stalling.
Alexithymiaa: "Your music for the wedding is going to be great." He said with a smile, rubbing his hand over the leg of his jeans because he sort of felt this weird awkwardness with her. "Yeah, it's really edgy and cool."-
Smokeless: Dori put the cookieso n the sheet pan and shoved them in the oven turning it on before goign to find her bottle of wine. she hummed softly dancing about the kitchen.-
Tsaaq: "You don't even know what I'm playing yet." She laughed, crossing one of her legs over the other. "Thank you." She said. "It took forever though..." She trailed. "So I have to tell you something about something that happened a few weeks ago." Hayley said quietly. "And I hope you won't be mad for not saying it sooner."
Alexithymiaa: -He furrowed his brows, twisting a bit in his seat so he could face her. "Why would I be mad?"-
Smokeless: Dori poured herself a glass of wine while she waited for the cookies. the house started to smell like the cookies in the oven slowly.
Tsaaq: She began to pout as she turned to face him. "Because if I was a good girlfriend I would've already told you and with the stupid voicemail from Thursday... Ugh." Hayley sighed. "Eugene kissed me. And I don't know I blacked out so I guess I punched the shit out of him. He was high. It was just a dumb situation. I didn't think I had to tell you then I realized this is an actual problem." She rambled anxiously.
Alexithymiaa: -His eyes scanned her face as she spoke, reciting what had happened with Eugene. His face hardened a bit, the knot in his stomach tightening as he reached his hands over to take hers, giving them a quick squeeze. "That's not your fault. You're not accountable for his actions. You couldn't have preemptively stopped him from doing that. You know that, right?"-
Tsaaq: Hayley frowned as she looked up at him. She nodded her head slowly. "Yeah... But he still shouldn't have done it." She said somberly. "And it's embarrassing." Hayley whispered and lowered her head.
Alexithymiaa: "You have nothing to be embarrassed about. That was his choice, not yours. And it was wrong of him to do that to you." He paused, giving Hayley's hands another little squeeze. "Did you talk to Remy about this?"-
Smokeless: Dori sipped her wine and she checked up on her cookies. She  looked around the kitchen and sighed slightly. She pulled the cookies out and set them aside to let them cool off. she  looked down at her heels smiling. she loved the sound of clicking heels made her feel important.-
Tsaaq: She nodded her head as she listened to Adam. "Well he knows about it, we haven't really had a conversation in person. I just mostly stayed away from Eugene but then the other day with the voicemail was just." She frowned again. "It's getting out of hand."
Alexithymiaa: "Its sexual harrassment, Halo. Plain and simple. And it needs to be addressed because it's serious." He spoke a little sternly, looking straight into her face.-
Smokeless: Dori finished off her wine and she placed the cookies on a plate. She frowned because she knew she wasn't going to be able to eat all those cookies by herself. She wondered if Adam was home. she sent him a text."text: I made celebration cookies you and hayley are welcomed to them -dori" she took a cookie and bit into it.
Tsaaq: Hayley released a burdensome exhale. "He's supposed to be my cousin." She said. "I don't really understand why this is happening." She murmured. "What should I do?"
Alexithymiaa: "I really think you need to talk to Remy about this. Have a serious conversation about how to handle the situation and him. And definitely stay away from him." He looked down when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, pulling it out to look at the screen. "Dori made cookies if you want some."-
Smokeless: Dori grabbed the bottle of wine pouring herself another glass and sipped it grabbing just one more cookie. one more wouldnt hurt right.
Tsaaq: Hayley inhaled deeply now and stared down at her hands, saying nothing until he mentioned Dori. "I don't want cookies." Hayley told him softly. "And Dori is not someone I would like to be around right now." She said calmly. "She was very rude to me and Bliss the other day at the bookstore."
Alexithymiaa: "Why, what happened?" He asked her gently, leaning down a bit so he could look into her face.-
Smokeless: Dori finished off her second cookie and polished off her wine cleaning out the class.
Tsaaq: Hayley went to give Lady some belly rubs as she sighed. "Well... Bliss took me out to Shelf Awareness to help me out. Which was really nice... Because two years ago was the thing... With Thad and Devin and whoever those other guys were." She frowned. "But it was really nice but she brought up Thad by mistake cause he posted this weird squawk. And we were talking and like, Dori was listening I guess and went we asked her about it she became very indignant and it was uncalled for so. I don't know. I just don't like that. Especially to Bliss. I'm a dick sometimes but Bliss tries to be polite."
Alexithymiaa: "Oh..." He nodded his head as he listened to her recount the story, moving his hand to give her arm a gentle rub. "I wouldn't worry about it or think too far into it. It's just going to upset you. Just put it out of your mind. We're going to solve one problem at a time, okay?"-
Tsaaq: She began to pout again. "Okay." She said gently with acceptance. "I'm sorry, we we're doing so good and now there's problems again and it's my fault." Hayley apologized as she looked up at Adam with an earnest look.
Alexithymiaa: "This isn't your fault. You need to accept that it's not your fault. You couldn't control this at all. But that doesn't mean we're not going to handle it." He slid over so he could slip his arm around her shoulders, giving her a half hug.-
Tsaaq: "Right. Right." Hayley whispered, gently hitting her head as she nodded. "It's not my fault." She repeated calmly and went to wrap her arms around him and gave him a squeeze. "Can we just lay down and relax, and pet animals?" She asked him.
Alexithymiaa: "Yes, we can." He said with a nod, turning to fluff the pillows behind them so it would provide nice support because that's always nice. He leaned back, moving his book out of the way before patting the pillow for her.-
Tsaaq: "Yay!" She cheered quietly. She went to take off her boot and smiled as she crawled into the spot and laying her head on the pillow with her stiff hair as she went to pet lady.
Alexithymiaa: -He let out a small laugh, his mind still on the events she'd relayed to him, which were honestly going to keep him up going over them several hundred times throughout the night. He pulled her into his side, moving his hand to stroke over the top of her hair as he stared at the ceiling.-
