Reflecting upon the hints of the weird orange kid, before taking off again you head back to seek out the source of some kind of regional history, your curiosity admittedly piqued when you realized you were within walking distance from something with a long half-Greek name. Apparently scholars were suspecting Alexander the Great somehow used this big busted-up machine in his conquests..?

Among a few other lookers-on, a dark-haired older woman, very short and a bit on the heavier-looking side, in a translucent pink headscarf, dark pantsuit, and faux-fur boa was also there, reflecting upon the sight and eventually glancing towards you. Her tone was friendly. "Hell of a sight, isn't it..? The insides are completely broken beyond repair now, so it will never be anything more than a curious exhibit now, but there was briefly a time where they'd gotten it working again, thirty or so years ago... And what an astronomical price was paid by doing so."

Well, you can't just have some friendly old lady talk you up like that and not pursue further information, so you pressed for more. "André took it upon himself to aid in the restoration then... How eager he was to involve himself. He had no idea what that man intended to do, the conflict this damn thing would spark, so he turned on him. His elder sister even united him and six others in this city, and she dealt the finishing blow to his plans..." The woman who seemed to want an excuse to ramble offered, then, a sad smile. "Valentina Lloyd's victory... sounds like a storybook resolution, doesn't it?"

The thought of a rich bastard getting what was coming to him thirty years ago sounded like a happy story to you, but you were curious who the hell she was to talk about this. "Oh, uh... York. Sorry, sometimes I ramble a bit and get ahead of myself... Wait, though, are you the food car guy? Nice coincidence! I was disappointed to see you'd left by the time I could start my lunch break."
